I did not like it, there is no cozy atmosphere, everything seems to be moving somewhere, the tables are not clean, there is no place to hang a bag in the toilet

I visited with my family, but the atmosphere was really nice and there was a play area for children, so I think it would be a good time for parents.

Friendly and helpful service, delicious food and tasty good quality coffee. Atmosphere is nice and modern with wide open spaces and plenty of seating on 2 floors. Recommend the apple pie!

Personally found the taste of the espresso to be so-so. The spot had a cool ambiance for work, but I found the workers not quite as friendly / conversational as I typically find in other coffee shops.

The best coffee around. Crafted lattes, beautifully roasted beans, and scrumptious espresso. Pastries do not disappoint. Excellent customer service. Plenty of space to sit on the ground floor and even upstairs. Washrooms are kept clean. Nice merch too.

Why would you ever miss out on the best coffee in Canmore? Love it when roasters are passionate about their craft.

The coffee is great, but sad to see the original location close! It was cozy, the 2 other location as cold and have a kid zone, neither have a nice atmosphere to relax in. The coffee get 5 stars but the atmosphere get 1 star

Really tasty coffee! Great decaf mocha with oat milk, really tasty especially for someone who likes their coffee on the sweet side. Delicious cappuccino, especially so if you would like to choose your coffee.

Ended up grabbing a few bags of coffee to enjoy at home!

By far my favourite coffee shop to sit with my laptop and a latte, answer a few emails and genuinely enjoy the atmosphere. The new location on Railway Ave is spacious and beautifully designed.

My favourite place to come work when I am in Canmore. Their new location on is beautiful and vibrant. Im a selective coffee drinker so its awesome having a place that I love and coffee that is fantastic.

We came here to grab our morning coffee before heading to the airport and man was the latte so good. Wish I knew of this place when we first arrived. The barista is an artist and has perfected his craft in making the perfect coffee.

The coffee is awesome and it was unexpected to me in this small town. Best place to have your morning coffee or afternoon

Easily the worst coffee I've ever had. It seemed and tasted like a steeped tea. It was thrown in the garbage almost full. Even dripped coffee made at home 24 hours later tastes better.
Save your money and go to McDonald's instead, donate to Children's Hospital and collect a sticker for only a dollar or so.

Amazing croissant and coffee! Highly recommend to try the pandan coconut croissant, it’s buttery and airy with a hint of sweetness.

Service was great, knowledgeable and helpful. The coffee (cappuccino and espresso) was really under-extracted - overwhelmingly sour like tart cranberries. The coffee is better as a mocha - the chocolate smoothes out the sourness. The cappuccino has a tiny bit of foam (less than a centimeter deep) - it was definitely more a latte style coffee. The latte art was a nice touch. The seating was nice and roomy.

The best coffee in the bow valley by a mile! Jiri has exceptional customer service. Don’t waste your time with any other coffee shops!

Try the coconut pandan croissant! Before I noticed its existence, I got the hazelnut croissant and both were delicious, but coconut was the clear winner for me. Top it off with a flat white and I'm ready to take on the cold

Seems like a sweet place, just welcomed by a very rude barista, had a small dog in my jackets and was almost yelled at.
Horrible first experience. All that was needed was a quick small, sorry dogs are not allowed.
My dog is a super sweet, quiet, 5lb chihuahua, doesn't make a peep.
As I walked in she points, and says "you need to take that thing out right now! "

Won’t let you order takeout without vaccine passport. Every other place allows you to take out without passport. We show passports enough for indoor dining now for take out too. We don’t need businesses they need us! Blondies and beamers for the win!

This is the best coffee shop ever in town. Customer service is perfect. I usually don't like latte, and I love theirs. I'm a mocha drinker and I'm often disappointed because what I get is just sugar with a chocolate syrup. At Eclipse, you'll get a real mocha with cacao not too sweet just.perfect! If you are a coffee lover, you must stop at Eclipse.

Eclipse is the best coffee shop in town, staff are great (Anna). They have such a good coffee and chai latte. Thank you for checking the proof of vaccination. It is my favorite place in town of you wanna spend time around good drinks

The atmosphere at Eclipse is absolutely wonderful and so comfortable. I set up for a few hours to work on classes and was provided with excellent service by the baristas. They brought my coffee straight to my table with a smile. I had asked for a “surprise” and they nailed it! 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a quaint cafe with wonderful and efficient service. Will be going back often!

Whether I’m chilling with friends or doing some work Eclipse is my go to every time.

Also, I really appreciate how thorough they are with asking for vaccinations and everything around covid procedures.

Each time I travel thru Canmore cannot help but stop for a Americano coffee. It like magic the coffee freshness and aroma make the kilometers go by much faster. Good Service. Dont forget to buy an Aeropress!

Coffee was great but service was slow. However they did post a notice saying that they have had trouble hiring staff with the pandemic this year in Canmore so I feel for the staff as they all seemed pretty green and were doing their best. We bought some beans for home too and they were great! Def want to keep supporting them!

Seems like a nice place. Won't sell you a bag of coffee without the proof of vaccination, no food or beverages ordered, just a bag of beans. They will let you walk in, browse and handle items in store but when you get to the till to pay, they won't let you spend money unless you have proof of vaccination.

Updated: Went down the street to another coffee shop to buy a bag of beans and they let me, even let me order a coffee to go.

Would return.

Great dependable coffee - coming from an Australian.

I really like that they don't penny pinch on iced/hot versions.

Biggest pet peeve is that they seem to forget this isn't winter anymore and coffee shouldn't (ever) be scalding hot. Steamed milk coffees should always be immediately drinkable. Let alone too hot to hold on 30c summer days.

Excellent coffee! Ordered a flat white and black drip coffee and both were delicious. A good cost for the quality. Just travelling through Canmore but would come back often if we were local.

The textured take-away cups are chic and easy to handle.

Eclipse coffee is the best No 1 coffee in Canmore, nice Aromatic coffees, Staffs are highly professional and knowledgeable, Nice Ambiance. I would highly recommend this place.

As always, the latte was excellent. The "cruffin" was a very pleasant surprise treat. Great flavors and just the right size. What do you get when you cross a muffin and a croissant? Cruffin. Whoever thought of that is a genius. Great service from the staff, too. Eclipse has such great consistency of high quality in all aspects!

I experienced their coffee for the first time on a recent trip to Canmore and ended up going back several times. Friendly and knowledgeable staff too. I was happy to see that their beans are online to purchase, with free shipping over $50. Amazing company.

Eclipse has great coffee. I’ve been here a lot and have always been impressed with a warm and welcoming experience. Unfortunately today (July 7) was bit of a different story. I watched the lady behind the counter be fairly rude and curt with the person in front of me. When it was my turn, the same thing happened to me. I won’t go into detail but it was a cold and rude experience. In fact, myself and the 3 strangers in front of me all ended up talking to each other, confused why we were all treated with such disregard and disrespect. Only writing a review in the hopes that this is acknowledged by management.

For this the place for any serious coffee lover. With their special list of reserve coffees and their superior knowledge of where beans came from and the roasting process it makes for a superior coffee experience. One of the best pour overs to be found in Canmore.

Coffee is pretty fantastic. The Cinnabon bun tastes like it’s been out for a while. Get something else.

From the last multiple times I have been here, a solid 3 stars. Maybe even 2.5. The chai tea latte that I got today tastes like warm milk.

If you’re looking for delicious third-wave coffee roasted in house and dialed to perfection, look no further. Eclipse is a ‘not so hidden’ gem that is not to missed. The coffee tastes incredible, either as a pour-over, Americano, or as my personal favourite, an Oat milk Cortado. Even if you’re feeling fully caffeinated, it’s worth it just to go and chat about coffee and meet the incredible team they have there. Dean (owner) is super involved in the community, and his staff care immensely about their craft.

Eclipse has always been my favourite coffee shop in Canmore! The cappuccinos are always smooth and the baked goods from Uprising have me hooked. During non-COVID times I've spent many hours working at their community table to get out of the home office and it's always so peaceful with the natural light and open atmosphere.

Friendly staff that's willing to explain and find out what your taste is and find a suitable drink for you. Very professional at making the coffee from espresso based to the pour overs. Highly recommend this place as the coffee is very tasty

The cafe is comfy and has nice views. I tried the pour over coffee with Brazilian coffee beans. The coffee is so smooth. Like it!

I got the Mocha and my husband got a tea, it came to 8.50, which is very reasonable! They make it with local dark chocolate and it was amazing! We will return to try the tarts, they look absolutely delicious!

Stopped by because I was looking for the best coffee in town while in Canmore on holidays. Coffee was good but not impressed with the fact that I asked them to grind my beans for a pour over and they grinded in way too fine. Takes a very long time (6+ minutes) to make a pour over because it's almost espresso-level fine.

Probably the friendliest baristas I’ve ever come across! They take their coffee seriously making sure they have consistent quality. They have minor figures oat milk which is by far the best!

They have the best nitro brew coffee I have ever ingested. Well worth the stop! Oh and if you bring your own mug, it's $. 50 off the drink! Nice work y'all.

Friendly staff and appealing esthetics, but a bit pricey like most things in Canmore. The chicken pesto panini is great though!
