We are very pleased with the exceptional service provided by EcoLine, from our initial consultation to the final installation process! Our advisor, Andrey, played a crucial role by offering professional advice, helping us devise a comprehensive plan, and providing a reasonable quote. Following this, another courteous and helpful team member conducted detailed measurements, ensuring precision in the project. After a patient wait of a few months, our excitement peaked as the installation of our new windows commenced. We are very happy with the good quality and aesthetic appeal of the windows. The two installation folks showcased professionalism throughout the process with focuses on the details. Despite the challenge of installing eight new windows, they completed the task efficiently. So we were able to have the new windows before the cold system of -40-degree temperatures. We highly commend EcoLine for their outstanding service.

So we got our windows done (in two stages) by Ecoline over the past couple of years. We had a great experience with the consult and installation.but we are now in a cold snap with -30s (and into the -40s) temperatures, so this is the true test! Windows are great! They are not frosted over, they are keeping the heat in and the cold out with no drafts or leaks!

Dima and Alex came to do our install and we were so impressed with how kind and efficient they were. They installed 16 windows and 2 doors in over 2 days. They cleaned up after they were done working each day and you wouldn’t even know that they had been there.

From sales to service Ecoline has been a very positive experience. Windows and doors are high quality and they have exceptional customer service. I would highly recommend.

Please, please, please do not go with Ecoline windows. I got duped by a super comprehensive sales pitch that seemed promising, but when it came to scheduling and installation it was an absolute nightmare.

It was supposed to take two days for 8 windows and two doors but the installers arrived and said it would take three days, but then only showed up 2 days of work, despite telling me at the end of the second day they'd be back tomorrow. When I talked to scheduling they assured me they would be out the next day to finish today's work and when I told them no one showed up today the person on the phone (having just got off with the installers) had no idea they never showed up and said "they never mentioned they didn't show up today. " Yeah if I didn't show up for work I wouldn't volunteer that information either. I also asked if he was sure they would show up as the forecast was rain but he promised they would show up as I had my post-retrofit.evaluation on Monday and he told me it would be fine. The next day (Friday) comes and they're not coming out due to the rain and made a photo finish completion on the weekend just in time for my retrofit evaluation.

They also had absolutely no idea how to install the provided hardware (new door handles + keypad locks from the old doors) and I'm left trying to install these things myself. But its more likely I'm going to end up having to pay to get a locksmith out here.

There was also an error in manufacturing one of my doors that required them to bore a second hole in my door. The installers didn't have the right tools and someone was scheduled to come out on Monday of this week but then that became Tuesday and come Tuesday the installer took the wrong truck and didn't have a tool to bore a hole and only just did the work today.

Absolutely terrible experience through and through.

Update: 2 homes in the neighborhood have had all windows replaced with other companies since mine were done. The companies did a great job cleaning up and the home owners did not spend hours cleaning dust from their homes like I did. Tells me I was right to write this review and decline their insulting offer to fix the problems. Stay far away from this company.

Sales experience was okay. Once they received my deposit things went downhill. I have two side by side windows. One was being replaced. One wasn’t. When the sales person sold me on vinyl trim my concern was the two windows not matching. He said they could do wood around that window. When it came to install time installer said it had to be vinyl on the new one and they couldn’t put vinyl on the one not being changed. He had to cut my backsplash so no going back to wood now and I have two windows not matching. Many little frustrating things happened along the way and when the crew left after 2 days I found 8 screws left on my driveway and that their truck leaked on my driveway both days that they parked there. Called twice and always end up on hold and told to press # for a call back. Call backs never happen. Currently wait time on hold is over 60 minutes. When spending that much money expected a better experience.

Excellent removal of five fifty year old residential windows and replacement with five new Ecoline custom measured and manufactured triple pane energy efficient windows with PVC frames. Work was done in one day in January, 2023. Very happy with the results. It is now September and there have been no problems after eight months of use. The windows have maintained a perfect seal and can be opened and closed with ease. Rooms have been noticeably warmer due to the triple glass construction of the windows.

We are completely dissatisfied! Let's see where do I start, well they measured the door 3 different times and still brought the wrong size, then they pulled my side support from the header to make it fit, then once that was done and they actually realized that the door was 2" to short so to fix it they filled the space with spray foam and tried to hide it with the inside trim, awesome work hey.then they brought in the screen and it has a hole in it, nice, my sliding door is No where level and I actually can't lock it.we ordered the door in December and they can't fix it till the end of May, seven months for one door and it's still not right. GREAT WORK GUY'S if you had done it correctly the first time then you wouldn't be coming back to fix your screw ups.

Carlos was really helpful and explained everything I needed and helped me to get the Canada Greener Homes Loan and Grant approved. I would highly recommend it!

We were so happy with the Ecoline team who came to replace some older windows in our home. The team was so efficient and they cleaned up as they went which was great. The end result was some beautiful new windows!

Hugo is patient, knowledgeable, professional and great at his job! UPDATE: Be careful here. Unfortunately, the rest of this experience was misery. Incompetence and unprofessionalism in this organization is rampant.

Individual who came to measure at our house after the order was submitted was early, actually told us he was annoyed he couldn’t get in early, and didn’t say a word to us during his entire time, until he simply left. I reported the incident to Ecoline. No satisfactory response.

Delivery was delayed repeatedly, finally scheduled for 6 months after order. An hour before scheduled delivery, they called to say they accidentally gave our door to a different customer in another city and they couldn't get it back. No apologies were provided even though they lost our product. They refused to accept a cancellation even though they broke their own contract by losing access to my purchase and failing to deliver on their promised date.

If you try to make them honour their own contract, they will threaten creditor action. And buyer beware: every phone call is recorded because they know that people aren't happy. But, they don't actually want happy customers. They want to force a sale at any cost. Be really careful here.

Ecoline, if you respond here to argue with me or to argue your case, you will simply reinforce your lack of care for the customer experience.

Update: It's been almost a year since we've had our new windows and doors. The house is so much warmer, no more cold air coming in through gaps. Great quality windows, very happy. The installation team was very professional and worked quickly and did a great job. Highly recommend this company.

We got estimates from Carlos, and he was prompt and detailed in explaining the service and answering our questions.

I have had windows installed from 3 companies in Edmonton into my home. I believe Ecoline has provided the best value for the windows I have received. Also the installers were the most meticulous. I am sure most manufacturers provide a nearly equivalent product but having the extra care in installation into my home has given me better peace of mind. I intend to recommend Ecoline to anyone asking for my advice on which window company to go with. The only thing I would change would be to have asked for a triple pain sliding door as the double still builds up some condensation.

Hugo was excellent. He was fast and efficient getting all the measurements, He took the time to explain the different options available, walked me through the process of how the gov't grant works, and provided multiple quotes based on different needs. It was a total 'no pressure' approach, which was very refreshing. I would buy windows from him if I lived in a windowless cave!

Absolutely terrible customer service. Had a basement window installed with a concrete cut. The window and drainage was not installed properly and during the freeze thaw cycle of the winter our basement flooded.

After over 8 months Ecocline refuses to compensate us for the damages down to the carpet and the drywall. Windows are good, but you better hope nothing ever goes wrong because they will not help.

UPDATE: After finally talking to their customer service representative, they still refused to provide compensation for the damage done. They threw it all on their sub-contractor, who did fix the initial issue back in May - but compensation for the damage never came.

They still hold to the view that there was no installation issue, despite the fact that they had to send someone one to dig our window well deeper and install weeping tile - which was not initially installed.

All of this took over 8 months and we were incredibly patient and respectful. When pushed for the compensation Ecoline still refused to honor their responsibility, and tried to off load everything onto the sub-contractor and made the sub-contractor that they were going to seek compensation from be the decision maker if they were at fault. Shockingly, the sub-contractor that Ecoline would be going after concluded they were not at fault.

Throughout all of this we were only seeking compensation of $750 to replace drywall and a carpet. Ecoline continually refused this reasonable request. Only after putting this review up did they offer money.

They said they would pay us $600 to take down this review and sign an NDA style agreement.

We have refused.

Do not use this company, they will never put their customer first and will find every way to inconvenience you.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced - when a company has to bribe you to not have a negative review, beware!

I have been so happy with how efficient the sales process has been to order windows! When we scheduled our appointment we received an email confirmation, text and phone call reminder. Our salesperson, Yulia, was on-time and very knowledgable. Our initial quote was provided on the spot and a revision was made within the hour. When it was time to move ahead, she came back to our home, walked me through the paperwork and it was done! She has helped us organise an inspection for federal grant money to offset the cost of the windows. So far, I am very impressed!

Yulia arrived on time. Very pleasant to deal with. She walked me through the products that would suit what my husband and I wanted. After narrowing it down to 2 options we came up with a winner. She was knowledgeable, patient and I am very pleased with her service. Now if we could get them installed before Dec that would be a bonus! Thank you Yulia!

Aug. 9,2022: (1 year after install)
after the initial install there were gaps and openings around a couple of the windows. The gentlemen that did the install did a poor job. After a couple of phone calls and emails someone did come out to fix the concerns that were noticable.
It is now 1 year later and I have found that my dining room window was not fully insulated when installed. Almost like the installers ran out of foam and didn't care to open a new can. This makes me think that my front door was not properly insulated, which explains why the storm door kept freezing shut during the winter.
I now have to remove covers from all windows and a door frame to make sure there is adequate insulation.

Aug. 22,2022: Aug. 11 a service update was scheduled for today between 9am-11am. I received a call at 9: 15am saying that the installer would not be able to make it today. I was then asked if they could reschedule for the next day between the same times. This was not convenient for me and a new visit has been scheduled for friday Aug. 26 between 9am-11am.
This is the same issue I had with the service scheduling last year.

In regards to the owner commenting that I did not contact them, I have spent more than enough time with phone calls and emails and lost time and wages having to deal with the initial poor installation of my windows.
I was not about to continue to leave my home exposed to the environment while trying to contact and schedule an appointment to have someone come and look at the issues without resolution.

If the owner or someone in management is willing to contact me directly I will be more than happy to discuss these issues.

This young man was so knowledgeable, (he has only worked for the company for 2 months) he answered all our questions and took his time with us. Called Ecoline for an estimate, among others, there windows seemed to be better then competitors, thanks ORI for coming by, you made the sale super easy and most important - COMFORTABLE, felt non rushed, unlike the sales people from Greenfox.

We would highly recommend Ecoline Windows for people looking to have new windows installed. The installers were very professional and worked very hard to complete all our windows in one day despite the poor weather. They laid tarps down in all the rooms in order to protect the floors, hauled away all the garbage and cleaned and vacuumed at the end of the day. The windows were well caulked on the outside and we received instructions on how to properly operate all of them. We also feel the price was competitive with other firms. And our windows look wonderful!

Wanted to update my 30 year old garden doors. Got a few quotes and Ecoline quote was competitive and offered triple pane windows. Salesman Ori spent time answering my questions and the installer Yuri did a great job. Finished the installation just before the snow started falling. Very happy with the product and the installation. Would highly recommend Ecoline Windows to anyone.

I decided to have ecoline install 3 windows in my home. None of the windows were the correct size, the first installers got them in, horribly, and while doing damage to my home. The second installers made some adjustments to the jambs to try and accommodate for the fact that the windows were the wrong size, the end result is a product modified to work, instead of one built to work, this means i had to be ok with some things being less than perfect. It was never an option that ecoline would order the correct windows. In addition, the customer service is slow and at times non-existent, only by constantly pestering the coordinators did I manage to get any response at all. Never heard anything at all in regards to the damage that was done to my home, no one even seems to care that it occurred. Given the number of window places in the city, there is no way i could recommend using ecoline. Avoid, not worth the headache.

Update: Ecoline commented below, and their response is as poorly executed as the rest of their business. They did email me shortly after i originally posted a review, asking what the issues where, to which i replied, and have never heard from them since. So the statement that they have made repeated efforts to contact me is a flat out lie. This is a perfect example of why you should avoid this company at all costs. Their are many competent window companies in the region, dont waste your time and money stressing out over this mess of an organization. They have now put the owness on me to remedy the situation, asking that i call them, as if i would want to waste more time repeating my concerns when they ignore them.

Update 2: Ecoline is now spamming my phone and email, I get the same message over and over asking to set a time for a pending service appointment, I have replied to the email saying that if they want to reconcile this issue then I need someone to contact me directly to discuss my concerns, they ignore this and just keep harassing me. They call from different numbers to get past my spam blocks. It seems that their intention now is to just irritate me. Again, I cant overstate how much people should avoid this company.

Cannot make contact with them, sent a $4,000.00 deposit, they have disappeared off the face of the earth.how do i give them a -5 rating? Maybe they will reach out when this review is seen, probably not, I WILL NEVER recommend them or buy product from them again. We manage over 90 condominium sites across the province, and nearly 1,000 rental doors, great customer service like this should be rewarded, their telephone system is a joke, talk talk talk, when does a person answer the phone, NEVER. I am recommending we start legal action to recover the deposit, real fun is about to start, the condo this work was supposed to happen at was close to doing all remaining windows +/- 300 windows? Guess the recommendation I will provide? Come on guess.there is a single star rating because I can't give you a negative rating.

We hired Ecoline Windows to install an egress window in our basement. Unfortunately, the quality of work and the service were terrible. We specifically asked the concrete cutter to ensure that the hole for the window would be boarded up sufficiently to not allow any moisture or snow in as the window was not being installed for five days. Nevertheless, they left a big gap. They also left the drywall below the framing damaged and advised they didn't have the supplies to fix it. I immediately contacted Ecoline and they said they would look into it. We also took the frame off the window to paint and the insulation was poorly done. After sending pictures and being assured that customer service was looking into in, I have not heard one word. I would not refer anyone to this business.

We just has Carlos come to our home and give us a quote for window replacements. We found him very professional and was able to answer all of our many questions. A quote was given to us that same day and he responded to our emails after in a time efficient manner.

The company as well as installers were very professional, the job was done in a very timely manner and Installer did a fantastic job! The door that we had installed is very secure and we feel very confident about that!

My experience with Ecoline was less then enjoyable. We had a technician come in to work on our sliding screen door. Once examining the door, the part that need to be fixed broke in the technicians hands. After that, we were told that there was no warranty on the part that he broke. The door wasn't set correctly when installed originally. The technician left with out any information on what to do next. Left us without answers. To this day we have no answers from Ecoline. They told us that we had to wait tell Covid was over to have anything done. I hope that we can get some answers moving forward.

I recently had Ecoline windows installed. They look fantastic! The installers did a great job. They cleaned and vacuumed up after each window installation. Even the salesman was great. I would use them again!

I can honestly say that Ecoline Windows is a very great company to work with and their pricing is on par also. We have had 4 windows done so far, two different times and are having the last three done shortly. Need to wait for the windows to arrive. - Carlos was very good at keeping our pricing within our budget and the windows look Awesome.

We had three companies come in for our window and door project and Carlos from Ecoline was definitely the best individual we met with. While all the prices were comparable, the knowledge of the project and construction involved that Carlos displayed was well above the other individuals and his details as to what best fit our needs was really appreciated. We were not looking for the cheapest option, but one that met our needs both for now and in the future and that is what Carlos outlined and provided. The experience with Ecoline Windows so far has been very good.

Fantastic products, competitive price. Their installers though. Still picking up glass from a window replacement, door guys put our storm door on with the wrong swing. Finally got that fixed, but still no repair on the window insulation leak from installation several months ago.

We had a consultation visit with Carlos Almeida. Carlos was very professional and knowledgeable of the products. When he came, the first thing he askes "Why do you want to replace your windows? ". To me, this showed that he wanted to understand the needs of the customer rather than just "selling".

We also ordered the blinds with Ecoline. Anastasiia was great. She went through all the options and suggested a very good blinds for us.

The windows needs to be installed first before they can measure for the blinds. It took about 3 months before we got the Windows (ordered in February and installed in May). This is perfect since they are able to install it during Spring Time. For the blinds, they had to wait for the Windows to be installed before they can do the final measurements. They did provide a temporary blinds which is greatly appreciated.

The blinds came within 3 weeks after they took the measurements. They look great.

Ecoline Windows were professional from start to finish, including follow up of the work done to install our new windows and doors. They did the installation with minimum disruption to our daily lives, and all in one day. Their communication with us was diligent and reliable. We are very happy with our new upstairs windows from EcoLine which made the bedrooms much warmer, a noticeable difference! The vinyl frames make them low maintenance too, no painting required. We will do more windows with EcoLine in the future as we work to make our home more energy efficient.

We were in need of a new front door and side garage door for our home- our project manager (Alex) was extremely knowledgeable, and the quote given was straight forward. They updated us regularly until our doors arrived- they called to book an installation date and time. Our installers (Vladimir and can’t remember the other gents name) showed up on time and did an amazing job on the install, cleaned up the old doors and made sure we were pleased with the final product before they left.
