I recently had 10 of my windows and my front door replaced by Econoshield windows and doors, and I couldn't be happier with the results! The team was professional and efficient, completing the installation in a timely manner. Andrew, in particular, was a huge help in navigating the process of obtaining the government rebate. The new windows and front door are not only beautiful, but they have also made a noticeable difference in the energy efficiency of my home. I highly recommend Econoshield windows and doors to anyone looking to upgrade their windows and doors.

I really like that when Andrew came to give me a quote he brought actual samples of the glass. Was something I didn't see from competitors. He also made me a promise to get my windows done in about half the time other companies were proposing. Instead of having to wait to the middle of winter, we were able to get our windows in during the first cold snap in December. When I told other companies about his promise they scoffed and basically said good luck. But he delivered.
Installers were professional and did the work quickly. My only complaint is that there was some broken glass and a few other scraps left behind that we didn't discover until the snow melted away in the spring. I've been kind of on the lookout for glass shards ever since. I did ask him to double check before they left because we have dogs and toddlers and they did the rounds but some stuff got missed.

Overall very impressed. Would use again.

After having a terrible experience from a previous window company, I was relieved to come across EconoShield Windows and Doors. The sales staff were informative and provided me an array of options. The installers arrived early and completed the work seamlessly. After the installation I was contacted to see how everything went. It's rare to have a company with such incredible customer service! This company just finished my whole house windows, they did a verygood job and excellent service!

We are very pleased with the work they did and they were very good at keeping everything cleaned up which is very nice for the house wife.

I am beyond thrilled with the company, customer service and the windows. They were quick to respond to my request for a quote, worked with me on pricing and product until I was happy with my selections and it fit my budget. The windows arrived early and were installed the following weekend. It was done so quickly and efficiently, including the trim. I am so happy I chose this company and would highly recommend them.

Great customer service and perfect service overall. The installers were as clean as they can be with replacing videos. Did a clean job, trim was all properly taking off and the new ones installed were properly cut and installed.

New windows looked great, installation for 8 windows across 3 floors (including basement) took 2 days which was pretty quick.

Andrew was professional in his communications and prompt to respond to questions. The crew worked hard to ensure I was satisfied. Incidental damage to walls was repaired.

Indoor plants / furniture should be moved to a safe area, away from where work is currently done.

EconoShield had someone offer an estimate and sent someone to get measurements for my window replacement right away. The quote was inline with most competitors and less expensive than others. Quote was sent in June with an estimated completion date set for a few months later after the window would be custom manufactured to fit my space. The work was completed by end of October so the window was in and ready to keep the winter out.

We had our windows replaced in July 2021. We had old wooden framed hung windows and our new windows fit perfectly into the existing opening and actually look bigger. They are beautiful finished with vinyl trim that we will never need to paint. Fantastic job and we will definitely use this company again when we replace our doors in the future.

Quote was very reasonable for the patio door installation. The installer arrived on time, the job was completed in less time than was quoted.workmanship is of highest quality. I was so impressed with our windows, and the installation process. The guys were on time everyday, hard workers, and respectful of our home. They cleaned up their mess from installation inside and outside everyday before they left. They built us a beautiful bay window as well, I absolutely love it! It only took 5 days from start to finish, all new windows, a custom built bay window, and an egress window for our basement, The window well they built for the egress was impressive, looks amazing! I also had a pile of dirt that was removed for the egress window, the guys used what they needed, and moved all the rest of the dirt to my garden, these guys were the best. I am so happy we chose this company for our custom made windows, it was an excellent decision. Econoshield is #1! This was the Medicine Hat location that we used!

I have a new front door forest green in fact as I am a Riders Fan. They did a fantastic job with the installation and the guys cleanup after themselves and Easy to get along with.
My Mom and I feel al lot safer. We just love our new door our neighbours have commented on the improvement. I would recommend them to Family and Friends.

If you need egress windows installed I would look no further. Econoshild guys did a great job. Technicians are very knowledgeable about the products. The installation was smooth, fast and clean. I love my new window. Thank you.

I just had EconoShield install 10 windows and a new front door. Right from creating the work order everything went like clock work. There were no hiccups or wrong measurements. I cannot say enough about the 2 gentlemen, and they were gentlemen, that installed my windows and door. It shows you there all still good honest contractors out there. I have to give this company 5 STARS, I would not hesitate to have them do work in the future. Keep up the good work!

Econoshield windows & doors are a AAA+ company, from the very start Dimitry answered all questions & concerns on price/products. Absolutely no pressure to commit or sign (just a really great price for Myself to think about). After talking it over with Wife, decided to put all new windows & front door in. Kelly in the office was very helpful with emailing the contract to get started on building Our new door/windows. The very best part of this company Is their employees, I can’t remember all their names but Pablo & all we’re so professional, efficient & simply work to get job done. Only took two days for a bay window, patio doors & 8 windows including egress for basement that involved cutting concrete/ reframe. We had ordered a fibreglass door with sidelight, that had a wood look on both sides, this door cost a little more but it gives the house WOW factor, so much care/workmanship make this one great company, highly recommend.

The experience of replacing the windows in our home was very easy and cost effective. The sales associate showed us all the window options and offered ideas that we didn't even consider (such as a frosted window for our washroom). The windows were made to order and fit perfectly. Comparable companies quoted us almost twice the price for the same product and service.

Everything was delivered on time and as promised. The installation process lasted two days. This was expected however, because all the windows in our house were getting replaced at once. The installers were clean, precise and courteous. They covered the work space and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly.

This past winter was an even stronger testament to our new windows! Our home is much warmer, there is no draft or condensation and they look fantastic. What's more, now that we are renovating our home, we needed an additional casing for the window in our kitchen. Econoshield responded to my email in 2 days and had the part in stock and ready. I couldn't be more happy and recommend Econoshield to anyone looking to replace their windows.

If I could rate lower than one star I would.

Do NOT use this company. I had ONE question during the free estimate appointment, “Do I need to move anything in case of dust/debris? ”
The answer I was given was, “No. One worker will be cutting the wall, while the other worker has a vacuum right there to get the plaster/drywall mess. ”

The workers did NOT do this. They each worked on different windows, and this is what I came home to find dust all over the bedding in our room, dust all in the heating vents, covering bureaus/tables, in our home. There were also chunks of plaster in the kids beds.

The workers never covered the vents, and the furnace was running full tilt all day because of the old windows being removed. The furnace and ducts got filled with dust and I was left to hire a furnace cleaner.

The window installers did NOT clean up after the job. There were nails and garbage left in our driveway and on our back patio, all left for us to sweep up.

The large living room window was filthy and I had to fight with the company to come back and clean it. When they finally did, it took the worker 35 minutes to get all the dirt and grime off. This should have been done right away.

We paid over $11,000 for our windows, and have spent HOURS washing bedding, walls, pictures, ornaments, and wiping down every book, magazine etc.

I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone. They lied to us, and then gave excuse after excuse for the mess they made and left for us to clean up. They told me “It’s a construction company. Of course there’s going to be a mess. ”

Awful customer service and zero accountability.

“Extort” is hardly the right word. We simply insisted upon proper customer service.

YOU did not clean anything. WE had to spend 2 hours of our own time cleaning up that night before even being able to sleep in our bedroom.

ZERO effort was made to prevent the extensive mess left on the first day.

Multiple phone calls had to be made to try to get any accountability out of your company.

And the furnace cleaning you mentioned has yet to happen because you refused to use a reputable company, instead going with an unreliable and cheap option who has failed to show up twice now. Further to that you refused to pay for any additional vents in the house, still leaving us with at least $100 to pay for a mess we didn’t create.

If a mechanic made a greasy mess of your vehicle would you be happy to pay to have it cleaned and detailed afterwards? Would it make it any bettwr if the mechanic said “yeah well cars are dirty, what do you expect? At least it runs properly now. ”

Your response to this review is a perfect snapshot of the way you failed to handle the situation. I can’t state enough how pitiful this experience has been. What a joke of a business.
