Eddie's Donair

Eddie’s has one of the best tasting Edmonton donairs in my opinion. Either beef or chicken are great options, and the garlic sauce is awesome. Tread lightly with the red onions, they are potent.

Actually the best donair in the area.

Our friends who live near by recommended while we were traveling, and they were not wrong. This place rocks.

First time customer tonight. Ordered a mushroom burger. Well to my surprise I couldn't make as good a burger at home. I will be back to try the donair next. Very nice staff and very short waiting time for my food. 5 star for Eddie's Donair.

I love both Eddie’s but this one goes above and beyond. The quality of food is always consistent and delicious, the service is fast and very friendly, and today a lovely young man brought our food out to us and held open the door. This place is my go to for comfort food when I’ve had a bad day, they don’t know how much their kindness and food quality means to me. Thank you Eddie’s donair never change!

The best donairs and service, they are always nice in here and food is ready fast, my favorite is the chicken donairs or the donairs poutine.

I will remove/update post when i know they have finally hid the buckets of donair meat that are under the grill.

Not something customers wanna see is all the cooked donair meat sitting in buckets to be reheated.

I ordered a small poutine no gravy. Comes nicely as shown with a 8 min drive home. Cheese underneath gets melted. And sauce is always great.

This is location number two and i will say i currently prefer original location. This one is small. And like i mentioned donair meat all in buckets not a fan of that.

Finally tried this place after driving by it so often. So happy I did, as this place was better than my other place that I have gone to normally.

Nice to be greeted once you walk in, and not feel like your being an inconvenience like so many other donair places I've been to. Also very clean place. I ordered the super donair and fries. Donair was made with fresh vegetables and just right amount of sauce. Nothing worst than a donair drowning in sauce. Fries were nice, crisp and seasoned.

I don't eat donairs too often, but now when the craves hit, I have found my new go to place!

The fellow who made my food. Made it exactly the way that I like it. I will definitely be going back there again.

Excellent donair. I Highly recommend. I ordered a regular donair for my wife and a super for my self with all the condiments but no cheese. Price is good $11 for the super no cheese. The server was a very nice young man and not cheap with the sauce, meat or the condiments. Was my first visit but it wont be my last. Also got to say the donair meat itself was very tasty as was the sauce.

My go to for a donair was Swiss donair, but now this is my new spot. Plus they giver you a stamp card for a free regular donair and pop after 9 donair purchases.

We never have such delicious fries and kids sub in Canada only today here, thank you so much Justin and Donald for such warm welcoming and nice food

I consider myself a donair connoisseur and Eddie's is one of the best, if not the best donair I have had. Location is a bit of a drive (I drove out from West Edmonton) and wasn't busy on a Monday lunch hour.

I had their donair with no cheese. One of the partner-owners were there, was very friendly, and made us a very nicely wrapped donair that made it easy to eat with no mess. Meat was sliced and grilled to make it a slightly crispy texture and it had an excellent spice and gave it a delicious kick. They added the right amount of sauce unlike other donair shops which oversauce their donairs (which make it an absolute mess to eat and makes the bottom soggy quickly). Very delicious and highly recommend if you are in the area or willing to make the trip.

The staff there are nice and still manage to stay professional even when I ordered 15 mins before closing…sorry. I got the wings and donair salad. Wings are perfectly cooked. And I really like the salad. Generous amount Of donair meat and the dill dressing is perfect. I will be back.

CANT say enough good things about Eddie’s! We had a large order today for a farewell party. The staff was amazing to deal with. Our order was perfect. They even delivered it personally for us. Thank you Eddie’s for the great experience! We will definitely be back!

I ordered jalapeno poppers, which isn't served at fast food restaurants, and got chicken bites (which are). I could have just ordered from a fast food restaurant and saved a bunch of money. The rest of the food was pretty bland and the only reason I ordered from here was the jalapeno poppers. Very disappointed and probably won't order from here again.

Edit - stop gaslighting me and just own up to your error. I ordered jalapeno poppers and got some popcorn chicken thing. I don't care what it's called on the menu it definitely isn't jalapeno poppers. This response just solidified it. I won't eat here again and now, because of your response suggesting this is somehow my error, I won't adjust my review.

Eddie’s donair never disappoints!
So kind and very welcoming, food & service is 10/10. Definitely the best donair shop in the city!

So much hype for this place may be why my review isn’t better. Got the beef donair and was very disappointed. Many other better donair place in the city.

I have never had such a perfect donair in my life, the meat is just perfectly cooked with the right amount of slice, their fries are to die for crunchy and soft perfectly salted, if you are looking for a donair place this, this is the go to location.

I used to not like donairs but Eddie's are very good. The meat is tender, melt in your mouth.
