Waste of money and certainly not worth $20. I don’t get why it was sold out…
If you’re looking for a market, go to one of the indoor farmers markets with free admission. I saw a lot of the same vendors there.
If you’re looking for a festive mood, the Christmas market did a bit of that, but not much. There were a few “tunnels” set up with Christmas lights and a few ice sculptures.

Certainly enjoyed the experience this year with my partner! Even more so than last year in fact. We arrived later so it was dark out, making the lights and places to go feel all the more festive. Parking was a bit of a nightmare as we were in a long line of traffic off Fox Drive, BUT we found a spot (thank you parallel parking skills) and made our way in. Met up with some good friends who had never been, so it was really cool discovering what was done differently this year and experiencing new vendors. Everything felt more spread out, which was nice because you got to walk through the park more. Was wayfinding a little tricky at times, sure but we found our way! Of course the weather was also a plus this year too.

Some people’s level of expectations baffle me when it comes to any form of market. It’s not a mall with all its fabulous amenities, so get over yourselves. The Xmas Market team continue to improve and make adjustments! That’s the nature of the event game. Stay well friends and I expect to be back next year.

The Edmonton Christmas Market is such a delight to visit. There's lots to see, do, and eat (for all ages)! It's super easy to get around the site on foot and by streetcar. I especially enjoy all of the programming and how there are many different shows you can catch during your visit. The market has a great variety of friendly vendors, too — great for secret Santa shopping. My personal recommendations: Try the Blindman Poked Beer and pick up some Mama Han pastries at the market!

Loved this market. Has everything! Great food, beautiful lights, fun stuff for the kids, amazing shows! Highly recommend. Took my lgbtq2+ kiddo to the Slay Bells dray Christmas show. Felt nice to have something so inclusive for us to go to.
Not enough stars to give!

So impressed at this years market. It’s even bigger and better than the last. Christmas lights, live music and fantastic vendors everywhere you turn! We had so much fun and cannot wait for next year!

Great outdoor market. Enjoyed seeing all the decorations and live music. Vendors were happy to be there and loved seeing a bunch of new ones, as well. Happy to support local and get in the holiday spirit.

This was the best Christmas market we have ever been to! It was a magical experience with tons for things to do for adults and families.

Really liked how this was indoor and outdoor. For this only being the second year, we are really excited to see how the event grows in future years!
Such a great vendor selection too!

I would highly recommend checking this market out.

If I could give it a zero, I would. Once upon a time, Christmas reflections used to be an enjoyment for our family, before the park was closed for the renovations. Through the renovations and following Covid, Christmas reflections was lost, and this marketplace was found. It is $20 per person for entry, in addition to handling and service fees (over and above the entry fee). Upon even writing this review, I have no idea what those fees consist of, given everything is done electronically and given the rate to enter the park. Upon entering, everything has a cost, including the carrousel at six dollars a piece for a 1 1/2 minute ride. That, in addition to the fact that the food is poor, and the market appears to be more centred around alcoholic beverages, rather than what used to exist with crafts for kids, singing in the church, cookies baking in a home, bonfires everywhere (rather than one) and father Christmas being available for the kids to make their final wishes. It is an absolute shame that something that was so valued has been lost and something so impersonal, money grabbing and truly pathetic took its place. I will never go back unless it changes, and I would highly advise people to refrain from wasting their money and their time.

The Edmonton Christmas Market at Fort Edmonton is such a wonderful event that really adds to Edmonton’s vibrant events scene and the Christmas spirit. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and help direct you where to go. When they didn’t know something, they made sure to get the answer from someone else. There were many activities to do as well as an astonishing amount of vendors. This is truly a must do every year to help support local entrepreneurship and just to have fun with family and friends. Be sure to check it out next year!

For me, it's all about supporting these amazing local, small business owners this holiday season. And speaking as a vendor at this market, I have done alot of my own Christmas shopping here. The vendors deserve the support after working so hard to get here. Looking forward to my new fringe earrings from By. Nataya, my gorgeous soap and bath bombs from Prairie Fire Soap, my 3D Dragon for my son I purchased, the unique jewelry from Archive Boutique, the stocking for my kittens, the handmade bracelet from Gem Revelry, the candle from LD Designs, and I'll be eating some falafel, hummus, pickles from Tukks Cukes, some bbq pork bao, ukrainian goodies from Not Your Babas and drinking some True North Cider when this is all done. Legit.

Great outdoor winter market. Lots of vendors and food options. My family loved the live music and the sleigh rides.

We chose our one Christmas festivity to go here, our 3 kids were excited to only have to turn around and leave because there were no parking. We bought our tickets for 5pm and it was completely over crowed and impossible to park. We contacted them and they would not give our money back. They stole our money, our time and our whole family Christmas event.
Completely poor management. Seems like a cash grab.

The seasonal market has vacated, and now both floors appear open to arts groups for a limited engagement. I attended a dance program by a Montreal artists hosted by Mile Zero Dance. There's ample room for many a special event until the space is reclaimed permanently.
