I always come in on Saturdays around 10 the customer service was so on point so nice, was treated with respect, was just such a amazing experience. Food was awesome 10/10! WOULD RECOMMEND

Amazing staff and delicious fresh food. Actual fast food that is healthy! Good app to order in advance. My only complaint is no tip option on app or their Interac machines. Owners pay attention please.

Bento box is a joke. Less food than ordering regular. Sushi was half made, very small. Not good. Rice portion was small. You would be a clown to eat here. Total scam

Decent food, good prices, but I'd stay away from the dynamite rolls.this is a tail, and without the shrimp, the roll is disappointing.

Customer service is not very good depending on the staff. I called in to order for pick up and both on the phone and in person the lady was rude. It was hard to understand her accent so I asked again to make sure I’m ordering the right thing she would raise her voice a little and I can feel that she got annoyed.
Also I found a little small silver plastic string in the food. I didn't want to make the effort to go back to deal with the same lady about this so I’m leaving this review. I won’t be coming back to this location for edo.

I have ordered delivery here a lot, it’s never consistent. Sumo size is sometimes just extra rice, they didn’t add veggies one time that I asked for extra mushrooms, the soup was good one time and the other times it was just like dirty dish water. I love edo when it’s good 1/10 times, the rest feels like over priced food that I regret buying.

Complaint - Thursday, September 29th
Todays date - Thursday, October 6th

Ordered food at 4.30pm online to be picked up at 6.30pm - advised very strongly on the order system about my sons allergies (in the ‘dietary restrictions’ section) Made 2 separate mentions of him not being able to have sesame nor the Teriyaki sauce due to allergies (hence the 2 hour notice).
Picked up the meal ($60+) and headed home. On the receipt was the instructions about the allergy - so imagine my complete surprise to find my sons meal completely covered in Teriyaki Sauce! I had to go out and get him another dinner (another $20).
I contacted Edo Japan by private message on Twitter - took screenshots of my order - a picture of the receipt and provided pictures of the food.
They responded almost immediately as to how they were so sorry and that they take allergies and dietary issues very seriously!
The ‘Twitter’ representative told me that they felt it necessary to pass on the complaint to the owner and regional manager!
Well, here I am - 1 week later - not heard a thing - not from anybody at Edo! They got my money so I suppose in there books we are done! As for me, once bitten twice shy, I won’t be back and I STRONGLY advise anybody with any form of dietary concerns or allergies to give this place a miss as they not only do not follow simple orders from the customers, they also do not care enough to follow up when you complain to them.
I implore you! Stay safe - eat elsewhere.

You may wonder why I would let my son have supper from Edo when they are so ‘heavy’ on Teriyaki sauce, well, we found with enough notice when ordering, they tended to follow the instructions and he loved the yakisoba noodles and bento boxes. It just goes to show the importance of the ‘dietary restrictions’ piece of the online ordering system.

I may as well have just put my money in the compost - that’s where the food ended up!

I should have read the reviews…
First time here, I eat at all the edos in Calgary….
I placed my order and paid the $$ that they asked for….
All the skip drivers and others customers walking we’re getting food before me…. Weird…
When I asked where my food is the said “ooh”, it had been sitting here here, I watched the lady pout extra sauce in it, I said I only asked for one, she went to fact check…. And looked at the receipt and realized I was right.when she took the food into the kitchen, ladies in the kitchen are giving me the dirty looks…
Remember all I’ve done so far today was pay them all the money they asked for, and communicated effectively what I would like.

The lady in the kitchen not some of the food onto the fryer rest of the garbage and then two minutes later I had a new meal.

I will choose not to return here because when they do something wrong it’s my fault #NoThanks

Went there 2 weeks ago, Friday eve. 15 min wait to be served, 15 min wait for lukewarm food, skimpy servings but biggest problem was a 20 minute wait for the? Fruit bubble tea that didn’t come with the other drinks and meal. 20 minutes to make one mediocre bubble tea missing pearls served with gel. Not impressed this trip. Need to improve on dish quantity and serve hotter in better timely manner.

Cooked fresh. Lots of ppl working so wait was reasonable. Very organized for covid. Not sure about some workers using their cell phones and then packing meal without washing hands or wearing gloves

Food is good and tasty I gave 3 star because of the girl at the cashier is talking to someone else while talking with me and laugh with others while talking with me, I totally have no clue what’s going on with her but seems she is not taking full attention when I order. Should improve customer service, I feel so disappointed after I ordered I honesty speaking I won’t go to this store anymore.

The last two times I went there to pick up food to go, both times my order was wrong. By the time I got home, no sense in driving back to complain.
First time, I ordered and paid for a Bento Box and 5 Tempura shrimp. Got home, I had only the Bento box, no shrimp.

2nd time, I ordered 5 Tempura Shrimp and white Rice. Got home and had the rice, but had 5 dumplings instead. Terrible customer attention to what I ordered. Again, not worth driving back to complain.

I have given up on Edo Japan and will never go to any of their locations again.

I don't think I'm the only person that they mess up orders on, unless it is just bad co-incidence. Save your nmoney; go buy food from somewhere where they will get your order right!

We asked the cashier to show us what the noodles looked like for the noodle bowl. With a lot of attitude ahe went to the back where the kitchen is and held up a packet. I asked her to come to the closer as no one could see what she was holding up. And with attitude she came. While waiting for our orders I noticed more then half of the people that had ordered ahead of us had mistakes with their order. We waiting 30 min for our take out. Mainly cause they keep in calling out the wrong order number. And none asked us what I was waiting for. How do you not know the order numbers how do you not ask your customers what they are waiting for. This location really drops the ball with customer service and satisfaction. I heard the cashiers tell more then 7 people sorry for the mistake. And everyone was frustrated waiting g for their ordered they just took it and left. I WOULD LIKE A CALL BACK FROM UPPER MANAGEMENT. You really have a bug problem with the front of the house and how the deal and treat your paying clients.maybe you need adults working there and not all kids.

I placed on online order for 2 chicken teriyaki. One should be regular (not spicy) sauce. The other should be spicy one. I opened them at home and both were spicy. Why is so difficult to make what was ordered? The other person was hungry watching me eating. Not satisfied

Still tastes good. Fast, easy ordering and pick up with the app. Portions have decreased and prices have increased.a sign of the times I guess.
