Scabby used car sales company that's fishing for suckers, with the most outrageous asking prices I've seen. Highly recommend you don't do buisness here.

Advertised a 2021 GMC Sierra 3500HD Duramax, single cab long box used with a rebuilt title (this means it was written off and salvaged by insurance) for $75,000. I then sent the merchant window stickers of a more loaded 2024 GMC Sierra 3500HD Duramax, brand new for $80,000 from Don Wheaton Chevrolet, and the merchant actually blocked me!

On top of that, the merchant messaged me telling me that I couldn't afford their truck, and that since they paid X amount for the truck, it was worth X amount more than they invested.

Upon further investigation, this merchant has several "rebuilt" title units and other vehicles well above market value, including a 32 year old mercedes for $25,000.

Please DO NOT buy a rebuilt title unit from this merchant. A rebuilt title makes a vehicle worth half as much on trade, so you'll never be able to trade it in. On top of that, it's very difficult to get insurance on a rebuilt title vehicle since insurance has already paid it out/written it off. So if you pay $75,000 for a unit, and even if you aren't in the wrong and it gets destroyed in an accident, INSURANCE WILL NOT PAY IT OUT!

Dont let these scabs convince you it isn't a big deal, like they tried to convince me. Please don't be fooled by their excuses. Anytime a merchant blocks someone because they send them info on a brand new unit priced similarly as a used unit with a rebuilt title. It means they are hiding something! Please buy somewhere else!

I bought my Audi A4 from EEC, at a great price and in top condition. I've had all servicing done there and it is always 'above and beyond'.

What an amazing experience we had dealing with EEC Motors! Paul and the team were a pleasure to deal with! He let us make up our own minds about the two vehicles we were looking at with no pressure to buy. We appreciated the upfront honest approach and did not have to guess where we stood on the price or the quality. We needed a new vehicle quickly and we got just what we were looking for without any hassles. We normally buy our vehicles through the bigger dealerships, but I was pleasantly surprised and definitely will be recommending them to our friends and family. Great experience!

I have been using EEC for over 20 years now either purchasing used vehicles or maintaining vehicle service requirements and even after this time they continue to exceed my expectations. The feeling I get is that they know my vehicle, what's needed for each service and leave me an impression that they are treating my vehicle as if it is their own. What more can I ask for? Again, great job guys and much thanks as always!

A great place to get your vehicle fixed, mechanical, body work. Great staff front and at the back.

Bought my 02 highlander from these guys and it had some issues, but they took care of everything on they’re own bill! Paul really takes care of his customers there and would recommend all my friends and family use this company!
01 August 2022 18:32
Our car had an alert saying we need a break pad check, EEC people helped us do inspection and change new break pad in one day. Really nice people with professional service, definitely 5 stars!

EEC is awesome! They are experience, know their business and tell you like it is and do not oversell. Highly recommend.

I really appreciated the service i received here. They were very fast at getting my car in as it needed work done. They were very honest with the pricing too. We agreed to one price over the phone and came in ended ip paying less as they were able to do it faster. I will be back for servicing my VW Jetta again

This place is fabulous. Paul made sure my car was tuned and aftermarket items were installed perfectly. We noticed that I was running the wrong staggered tires so he ordered them that day and installed the next. Perfect service!

Paul and Jordan were extremely helpful in getting my family a good quality vehicle at a good price. No high pressure tactics, no sleaze, just honest help and a friendly attitude. Would recommend!

I can not say enough kind words for the service that I have receive at EEC over the last 25 years. Hany and Paul go above and beyond the call of a mechanic! Their honesty, integrity, generosity and the respect that our family has received from them is incredible. I recommend EEC to everyone that I talk 'car shop' with and encourage anyone who reads this to try them out. You will NOT be disappointed! -Terri B-

I have been using EEC for years and purchased a number of vehicles from them plus consistently service them there. They have always gone out of their way to accommodate and address issues when they come up and, as best as they can, to facilitate my time. They leave me with the impression of a dedicated team that cares about their customers, each time. Let's face it; vehicles are always going to have issues but its nice to have a place that works hard for you to help resolve them!

I am SO glad this place was recommended to me by friends who are also loyal customers. This company and it's employees are honest, professional and personable. A great atmosphere and I will always recommend them.

Paul, Hany and Jordan were so great to work with. We showed up in Edmonton on the Monday of the long weekend with no notice as we were in the area looking at a different vehicle for my son. Hany met us without reservation to show a vehicle we had viewed online and were very interested in. Never any pressure, just professional and honest in his answers with the vehicle. We purchased the vehicle from out of province over the next few days remotely. Everything was as expected when we arrived the following Saturday to pick it up. They even provided a third party inspection to ensure our inspection back in Saskatchewan went smoothly. If that wasn't enough, they also stated they would offer to pay for anything that SGI might not allow to pass. The rear tires showed wear and SGI did not accept them. Without any negotiations or pressure, Paul reimbursed us for the cost of the new tires. True to their word! EEC Motors and staff are exactly what you hope a car dealership is. Thanks so much! We absolutely recommend and will be coming back!

I have bought a used sport vehicle from EEC with confidence (and great results many years later), and brought a variety of other vehicles to their shop for a wide variety of services/parts with great results.

Sales or service, they are a trusted business.
16 March 2020 23:05
I love this place. Casual, professional, knowledgeable, positive attitude and always seems like family.
The mechanics have been there long term and fix it everytime.
21 February 2020 7:31
I can not say enough about Hani and his team. They’ve been looking after our cars for years. I trust them.thats saying a lot. No hassles ~ just straightforward talk. If something is needed they say so.if something can has another 6 months or a year to go.they’ll recommend that as an option. We have also bought a few cars thru them and even added a warranty on one (and extended it) and used the warranty. They dealt with the warranty company and did all the paperwork.
Its really is a treat to have a shop my wife and I count on. Keep up the great work.
14 February 2020 19:16
I cannot say enough good things about EEC. An honest mechanic is a rare thing and that is what you will find here. Should you be in the market for a new, top drawer used vehicle go to EEC and you will not be disappointed.
04 February 2020 9:58
My bride and I have been EEC Motors client for years. I will always say that a great company starts with great leadership and both Paul and Hany are amazing. There core inner values and business ethics are top drawer. We just invested in a Maserati where we had Paul and Hany broker the deal. All I can say is WOW! They more than hit the nail on the head they hit a grand slam home run. This though is in everything they do from the repair part of EEC to the vehicle sales of EEC. Please know if you are looking for honour and integrity in a mechanic and or investing in a vehicle there is no need to look further. By reading this you have found the best!

Paul and his crew provided an exceptional first impression in diagnosing and resolving a variety of long standing issues with our Sprinter. EEC stands out in not just technical competence but a clear commitment to communication and setting of reasonable expectations.

While the staff were friendly, their service department is really lacking.

To start, they never really fixed anything in our audi, instead they repeatedly repaired "their best guess" at our cost, while never actually fixed the issue. For example, they said the reason our car was running rough was it needed a carbon clean (even though I mentioned the last owner recently did it) but because they insisted I went ahead with the repair. Did it fix anything? No. Absolutely not. This is not the way you should fix cars, you should diagnose it, and only fix things when you're SURE it is the problem. Not only did this happen once with the carbon clean, but multiple times on other things in the car,

Also, literally every single time we came into the shop, they tried to sell us on an aftermarket warranty, (which they get a hefty commission for selling) pretending like they actually cared about us not losing money.
As a matter of fact, you are statisticly almost guaranteed to always lose money when buying a warranty. You can look into this more online, but the bottom line is if it was cheaper to buy a warranty, the warranty company wouldn't be in business.

Overall the shop felt more like a money grab than a place to actually get things fixed. They fixed things that didn't need to be fixed, tried to sell us warranties, and to make matters worse, none of the issues we came in with ended up being fixed. This is out of 3 times we took the car in. Imo that's not the way business should be practiced, instead the business should actually offer a service that is worth what they charge.

In terms of their service department, I would steer clear, and go with a mechanic you know to be trustworthy. I can't comment on their sales department, as I have never bought a car from them.

We have been EEC customers for years, and have purchased several vehicles during that time. Paul and Hany have always provided exceptional service. They are thorough, honest and consistently go above and beyond for their customers. They have definitely earned our loyalty and appreciation.

Went in for a windshield replacement.super friendly staff and excelllent install job.and was considerably cheaper than any dedicated glass shop.
01 September 2019 19:39
I used EEC for over two years. I am still in shock that they claimed a warranty item, received payment, and never installed the item. Once upon a time I thought they were deserving of 5 stars. I was so fooled. If I could leave negative stars I would.

My beautiful bride and I were recommended to EEC motors by a very dear friend. Hany and Paul have an amazing business model "customer service is king" and Joey definitely is an ultimate customer service advisor. We have by happenstance have met clients their and one has now purchased his second vehicle from them. I have witnessed and will also say they run their business by honor and integrity!

My mom passed away last, I saw picture here. I still don't understand but maybe alah will show the way.

EEC is a fantastic place to take your vehicle for service!
Joey is a fantastic service coordinators do makes sure that you get the correct service done to your vehicle and helping you stay on budget for your repairs. He only recommends service that is immediately vital to your vehicle while telling you of services that maybe need in the near future.
I don’t know what mechanics worked on my car. But it came out of the shop better than it went in. They do value your patronage so they even gave my car a quick wash and vacuum out before sending me on my way.
Lastly their shuttle driver Eli is amazing! He is one of the unsung hero’s of EEC. When your car is in the shop he makes sure you get to where you need as quickly and as safely as possible. Although the shuttle car they give him to use isn’t anything special you better hope you are the only one being picked up or dropped off as the backseat space is really small.

The team over at EEC is astonishingly good. Never have I had such a profoundly good experience, service-wise, with our vehicles. Thank you to everyone, including Paul and Deanna, for everything. Highly recommend this outfit.

I bought an Audi from Paul last year and it was the worst car purchase I have ever made. Granted, Paul was friendly and helpful during the time of sale. For my part, I did not get the car INDEPENDENTLY inspected and relied on Paul's word that the car was okay. The word was that the car consumed a little oil every now and then. I should have stayed FAR away.
I think Paul should have been more honest about the condition of the car.
He never mentioned the high number of accidents the car had been involved with.

So, later on in the fall, I tried to get the car fixed - a valve job to cure the very bad oil consumption. But somehow that did not cure the issue. Either EEC faked the valve seat replacement or the piston rings needed replacing. From that point on, I took the car to another repair shop where thank goodness, the owner was competent. Turned out EEC had cracked the intake manifold when reinstalling the engine after the value seat replacement costing me even more money.

Some hard lessons I learned before purchase:
1) Always get the CarProof first (and not afterwards - like I did)
2) Get an independent inspection first checking everything
3) Get a compression test and if possible leak down test

The one star is for Hany who when I explained things to him, tried to make it right. I was willing to trade in my car on another - but Paul basically overruled Hany when I spoke with both of them in the office.
For my part - I was never rude to anyone at EEC.
I think I was cheated and my goal is to prevent this from happening again to myself or anyone else.
So be careful, if you must get service or a car from EEC.

In the end, I somehow managed to sell the car to someone else and unlike EEC, truthfully reported on the condition of the car to the buyer.
I lost over $15,000 in repair costs over the year. Only got a 1/3 back from what I put into the car in one year.
I would hope that Paul at EEC would do the right thing - but that is just a pipe dream. You know where to reach me to make this right, Paul (and Hany).
EEC may have got away with ripping me off, but everyone I'm in contact with hears about my experience and knows NOT to deal with EEC.

It was with some trepidation that I wrote this review as everyone knows - things on the internet live forever. However, I think my review needed to be posted to warn others.
Note to EEC: I have all the receipts (proof) of what I spent on fixing the Audi.

I’ll start by letting all readers of this review know I have purchased 2 cars from EEC and had 1 lease.

First was a 2005 BMW X5. The car was fine for the first 10-15000k then of course ongoing issues however the extended warranty was somewhat helpful with those many repairs. And the end of the warranty, the usual BMW issues arose and there were the typical and somewhat expected failures. So, no big deal, I expect some issues especially with German vehicles which I’ve had many of prior to this BMW. Overall, a 2,5-3 Stars out of five.

Second car was a nightmare. Audi A4 Avant. Endless engine lights and many limp mode drives back to the shop. The personal time consumed was insane as these issues happened weekly and then daily prior to the engine finally letting go in heavily morning traffic.

Yes, it’s German. I know. I’ve owned 5 Audi’s and none were this problematic.

My issue was Paul and sometimes Hani getting upset with my frustrations. I was blamed for getting weird liquids into the fuel tank which they believed caused the many engine warning lights. I only ran Shell premium fuel but somehow I was adding water to the fuel tank.right. After endless bills and wasted drives to the shop, we worked out a deal for an 2010 Infiniti EX35. BTW, they had several similar issues with the same generation of Audi. Many engine replacements and the mechanic even warned me that I should avoid certain cars that they selll.not the cars.just certain ones that EEC likes to sell.

I should never have trusted them after the many issues with the A4, but I stupidly trusted them. I bought the EX35.what was I thinking.

I found out afterwards the Infiniti EX35 had undisclosed serious damage in Ontario which greatly reduced the value of my now completely owned Infiniti EX35.

Since I was attenpting to trade in my $30K Infiniti, I was expecting a fairly decent trade in allowance. Then the shock of $18K in undisclosed damage. Thanks guys. Now I can’t even trade in my car as it’s almost valueless and since I’m actually disclosing the damage, selling it privately is also a major nightmare.

I have no interest in dealing with them ever again. Do as you wish however, I would highly recommend investigating the vehicle to the very last nasty detail prior to any purchase from EEC. Better yet, go to an actual dealership and pay a little more up front but get a lot more peace of mind and eventually trade in value.

Please save yourself wasted time, energy and money. Go elsewhere.

I recently purchased a used Honda Odyssey minivan from EEC. Our original van was involved in a collision and was written off. We had a very small window of time to get a replacement van. We noticed that inventory of these vehicles did not stick around very long and felt we were trying to chase a sale. I contact Paul who was recommended to me by my sister. He was fabulous to deal with. I had sent him some out of town option and he also looked at his auction sites. In the end, he assisted in communicating with a dealership in Calgary who had a van. He is very particular in getting all the details about every vehicle and makes sure someone has checked it out with their own eyes if he was not able to. We ended up deciding on buying it and he arranged for transport and another inspection when it arrived in YEG. Paul was so accommodating especially considering our timelines. I was impressed with him from start to finish. He is clearly passionate about vehicles and he is honest with his clients about the pros and cons of each vehicle which I appreciated. I felt he had my best interests in mind which is not what you get when you deal directly with dealerships. I would highly recommend EEC for purchasing a vehicle and would do it again!
