Okay hotel.
I found the room layout odd.
Not at all comforting.
Sink in the hotel room for meal prep but no dishes.
Very odd indeed

Wishing there was an option for no stars. We showed up after driving 4.5hours to have a disgusting room presented to us. We had 3 of us which is why we had booked a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed…. I wouldn’t touch that couch with a 20ft pole. It’s seen some things clearly and needs an actual cleaning or just to be condemned all together.
So they offered us another room that was equally as filthy with stained bedding…. I don’t normally leave reviews, but this place was nasty. For $165 per night I had expected more honestly…. I’m itchy thinking about the experience to be honest…. Save your money.

I stayed at this hotel for a month and had a great experience. The front desk are welcoming and clearly take pride in their work. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Overall, the staff is lovely, accommodating and prompt with request. The complementary breakfast has an omelette station and is quite substantial. They can also accommodate a gluten free diet. Element shares the restaurant, gym and pool with Sheraton Four points. The gym is small but has everything you need for a workout. I didn’t use the pool but there were a lot of kids enjoying themselves. The hotel is very dog friendly and does not charge for pets! The hotel is close to West Edmonton Mall and there are many restaurants within a 5 km radius.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend the hotel.

Arrived at this new hotel excited to check it out as we had never stayed there before, walked in and there was a current guest talking to the front desk. They asked us to wait which was completely reasonable for them to deal with that affair first. Then another couple walked and as they finished up with the First Lady they informed us we would have to wait while they checked in the couple that arrived after us which to me is pretty disrespectful of our time. We were there and already waiting. Also as a side note there was two attendants behind the desk however one just looked at us weirdly and was not able to do anything on his own not sure if he was training or what but yeah. They then informed us that the advertised amenities were not available (weight room and pool) and so we decided this was not an experience we would be paying full price for. The woman looking after it did not make the guests, all guests feel valued or welcomed. The old white couple whose dog took a leak right infront of the entrance had priority over the gay couple that was there first. Also the first woman who was talking to the desk was telling them that she couldn’t sleep because of noisy neighbours and they weren’t really being compassionate to her situation so maybe we just dodged a bullet with that place.

Hotel appeared modern and rooms were clean and well maintained. Platinum elite status was recognized at check-in and offered access to panty by reception. Breakfast was decent: hot options included potatoes and sausage. Omlette station can get a bit slow when busy. Wine and cheese offered at the lobby during the evening hours, which was a nice touch. Staff were friendly. The only con is parking, three other hotels in the complex, so if you happen to come back a bit later in the day, you'll habe a circle the lot a few times before you can get a spot to park. The parking spots were small, and my car got a few dings during the 4 night stay. The underground parking can get fully fairly quickly as well.

I just want to thank the hotel for their effort in helping me and providing cake and wine to surprise my wife's birthday. The staff are helpful and easy to talk to. Her name is DOA, and the other one is LAYLANI, i think that's her name. Thank you so much and keep it up guys. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The rooms at this property are smaller than those at other North American Element properties. The one-bedroom suite does not have any separation between the bedroom and living room, and is more like a studio suite.
The breakfast is extremely poor - this is the worst part of the hotel. There is another Element property near Calgary Airport, whose breakfast offerings are substantially superior.
I would not recommend this property.

Looks clean and modern however the rooms are worn down and super dirty! I informed the front desk (two different people on two different occasions) that the room was very dirty and they didn’t seem to care…there was no attempt to remedy the state of the room.

The hotel was clean (except for the pool!) and room nice but there were the details that were overlooked. Pool &fitness room is shared with four points and the pool was filthy, and hot tub broken. Laundry was out of order so sent me to the four points but neither four points or Elements had change for it (takes loonies or quarters).

House keeping was every other day. First time they didn’t refill toilet paper, had to request some, second time they took the used towels and didn’t replace with new towels!

Great hotel! Very clean. Rooms have a full kitchen. They have an awesome free breakfast in the morning. Theres a great pool and big gym. The underground is a big plus! They share amenities with Four Points Sheraton which is really good. I've yet to try the restaurant, maybe on my next stay

Great and well located hotel to stay, Maria is a excellent VIP business account manager, and the breakfast nice and fresh. Kathleen and Doa’a are great on the front desk, super knowledgeable about the area, invoice on time.

The room was extremely cold. Heat was not working at all. Was shivering all night and slept with jacket on.

Omg this hotel was nice. Thank you Liliana she is a super front desk agent. She knows how to take care of guests. I hope the company values her good work and dedication to make guests feel welcome.

I would love to give a positive review but on two occasions I forgot something in my room and, even though we called within a few hours of checking out, my belongings were “not found”. This was deeply upsetting to me as one of them was a family heirloom. I don’t feel comfortable staying here now, a shame because I recall it being quite nice for the price range. Just know that if you stay here and forget something in your room you’ll never get it back.

Dirty room, not cleaned properly. Walls need to be washed, bed was gross with crumbs and hair as I pulled off the covers. Stained mattress which looked like blood. Will not stay here again!

The room is dirty especially the floor. I don't think it is ever vacuumed. I wiped the bathroom floor after shower, and the towel is black. The floor in the room is the same. The common area is also disgusting, not cleaned including the elevator. Considering that they allow big dogs, some not just one but two, cleaning more often should be a must.
I will not recommend nor stay in this hotel again.

Awesome customer service! The General Manager actually left us a handwritten note upon arrival! The breakfast is great and you cam get made to order omelets!

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, big shower, eggs at breakfast are to order which is great. Kitchenette is basic but definitely helps out on saving cash if you have a longer stay. Parking lot is a little cramped and underground isn't ideal for any full sized vehicle without some extra maneuvering. Wifi is decent, pets are welcome, pool and hot tub are sort of in the attached hotel but definitely appreciated, food in the attached hotel is good and the bar makes good Caesars. Will return for sure! Thank you for the pleasant stay.

Fantastic hotel, very pet friendly (brought a budgie and a chihuahua) and the rooms are huge (on the first floor) spent a weekend here and it was absolutely perfect. Staff is very friendly and helpful, pool is heated and well maintained, and breakfast is really good! They even have a personal chef who will cook your eggs to perfection right in front of you. Highly recommend when staying in West Edmonton.

Very comfortable sleep and an excellent spread for breakfast! A pet-friendly hotel with a nice pool. Great for families. I will definitely return.

I pretty much live in hotels, and this is by far the most accommodating and friendly hotel I've ever stayed at.

Their staff, rooms, facilities, food, just everything is amazing

Clean rooms. Friendly staff, great location near to dealerships, West ed mall, golftown! Heated underground parking that my 2500 fits in! And pet friendly.
Coffee all day, gym, pool.

But, the best part is the breakfast, has all the buffet options. And also a chef that is a wizard of breakfast foods.

We'll be back for sure.

Nice, modern, clean, and spacious rooms. Check in/out is super fast and efficient. I also like their underground parking for the winter months. Will be my go-to for business stays moving forward as I've tried many places and I feel Element Edmonton West is the best in Edmonton for this price range.

We got in early, and the front desk processed us quickly. She was polite and professional. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was firm and provided a great sleeps. The small kitchen area was perfect for storing snacks and leftovers. The 24-hour access gym is clean and the equipment was in working order. The breakfast was great and nice to start the day with a hot meal. All of the employees I interacted with were friendly, polite and helpful. The heated underground parking was a definite plus as a snow storm rolled through and other days it was just miserable and windy. Check out was just dropping off the access card and back on the road. It felt COVID safe to stay there. I will visit the next time again, when in the area. We don't use the app, as I have been reading about security concerns. Once they implement a higher level of security and I know my points, CC, and personal data are safe, the process will be more even more efficient.

Seriously spectacular, friendly and professional staff. Rooms great. Facility perfectly clean. Will definitely return. Oh yes, underground parking perfect for Edmonton winters. Great breakfast (free) with breakfast chef and a full service restaurant in the attached Four Points property.

We stayed for 2 nights with our 3 kids. First off, the room size, the newness, the hotel pool and the hot breakfast were fully up to expectations. We loved the beds and pillows. Upon arrival though, our room was found to have a handful of deficiencies, (missing cutlery, dirty dishes and some sheets were stained for the pull out bed. Also, one of the omelette pans were giving off a chemical taste). The list of deficiencies could easily have someone ranting about the poor standard, but where the 5-star comes in is the staff. They were ALL extremely professional, prompt (new teflon pan purchased the next day!) and more than accommodating. The front staff in particular made our concerns heard and the manager Hasitha, was in contact with us directly to rectify the situation. We were more than satisfied with the staffs response. Having the management and staff respond with respect and promptness was top-notch here. Will be staying again!

Poor housekeeping, and was not informed that we could not leave our pet unattended and that if we did, we had to sign a waiver saying that we basically relinquished ownership of our dog. This needs to be brought to the customers attention at the time of booking as it seriously impeded our plans for the evening. We booked a week in advance and confirmed pet friendly hotel and was not told of any rules whatsoever. I'd say a not-so pet friendly hotel.

The front desk lady was not personable at all and quite frankly getting to the hotel was a nightmare as any GPS could not accurately get us there, and had to take many alternate routes.

Will not return or recommend.

Our stay was amazing. The staff was friendly and they made sure our stay was perfect. Rooms were so clean and smelled fresh. Pets stay for free. Good location. We will definitely keep going back. I recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Due to a flooding in my apartment I lived in this hotel for close to 3 months. This was back when the hotel opened in 2018 and I can not say enough great things about our stay here. Excellent location and customer service.

Great stay at the Element Edmonton West. Newer hotel. Staff very attentive. Breakfast is included and they had a chef preparing omlettes and other styles of eggs. Fresh fruit. Potatoes And sausages. The facilities were clean. Pets are welcomed! I hope they continue with their current policies

Our family of 4 (2 young kids) really enjoyed the new freshness and design of this hotel! As a health-conscious mom, I was thrilled to see all natural and organic body care products provided. Plus the environmental lighting and water really aligns with our values.

We stayed here during our visit to West Ed mall and the location was fantastic.

We rated it 4 stars because we wished there were more dairy free and gluten free options available at breakfast, we found it bizarre and inconvenient that there was not a door to the bedroom, and we wished the windows opened so that we could access fresh air at night. Plus we could have used wash cloths and a kettle in the kitchenette. We made do with a pot and the paper towel.

Overall it was great and we hope to return.)

You get what you pay for.

Check in was a bit of a hassle, employee seemed a bit hesitant/inexperienced.

The room was quite poorly maintained. Table legs were pretty heavily scratched, nightstand corners were chipped, sink was a bit dirty, a window was cracked, and bed lights were loose.

Everything seemed to be extremely cheap— toilet seats aren’t soft close, and are extremely thin.but then again, for the price we paid for the room, it’s somewhat understandable.

The kitchenette is a nice touch, especially if you want to do some cooking, or if you want to reheat some leftovers.

The breakfast was good— not a ton of selection, but the hash browns are decent, fresh waffles and omelettes are great, but the sausage isn’t great. But, it’s free, so.can’t complain.

Decent pool and fitness room, relatively new, but still quite a few issues with maintenance and cleaning.

Overall not great, but not bad.

I loved this hotel. Friendly staff, spacious room, nice bathroom & a pool I loved. There was a stain on my pillow case but I’m sure that happens time to time in any hotel.

Our room was disgusting! There were mud prints on our bathroom floor, dog hqir all over the sofa and the sofa bed, stains on the sofa and big stains on the floor, and greasy spots all over the walls. There was also a greasy handprint on one of the queen bedsheets on the bed my sons were sharing. We are all allergic to fur dander and two of us have asthma, so this was not a good situation.
The front desk said it would be almost impossible to get a refund because we booked through a third party, but all it took us was just a phone call and an explanation and they cancelled the rest of our stays, with full refund, no problem.
We had a main floor room and it had 2 queens and a pullout sofa. It was roomy, just really dirty.
I am learning super great deals are not always great deals.
Read Trip Advisor reviews and don't go too cheap with your bookings.

Nice rooms great hot complimentary breakfast thats made to order. Pool and hot tub are nice (they book in 45 min increments for families).

This is a hidden gem of a hotel in the west end not far from West Edmonton Mall. You can tell they really focus on cleanliness and our room was spacious with a kitchenette which was really helpful. Nice pool that you can book, really nice gym with weights, treadmills, ellipticals, weight machine, etc. Hot breakfast included that's served at the moment because of COVID protocols. Would definitely stay here again.

So nice to walk into my cool room when it's 32 freaking degrees outside. Oh yeah the place is immaculate, breakfasts are good and the staff are wonderful

Great hotel. I have stayed in many of the economy hotels in Edmonton as I travel here frequently for work.

Pool is great, breakfast is great and the rooms are quite nice.

Customer service team is great, Pauline helped me get everything set up and was a great help.

Angelika is very helpful and will go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience.

Great newish hotel.
Very clean. Nice pool, hot tub, and gym.
Unfortunately our room dishwasher and microwave both aren't working and no discount was given.
But the employees are super friendly.
Included breakfast was yummy,
The chefs and Katya were all super helpful and friendly with our requests and questions. Emmanuel and Gibin also helped out by microwaving our dinner in their kitchen since our microwave was out of order. Would absolutely return and stay.

The hotel was amazing! Accommodating and wonderful staff. Breakfast was amazing! The most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in!
