My regular Vet could not fit us in with no notice & I had to make an emergency follow up appointment for my very sick puppy and Elizabeth Street Pet Hospital were welcoming and made a quick appointment. The Veterinarian even came out to my car to assess my puppy because they were very contagious. The experience left me feeling reassured and confidant that my Puppy was in the best hands. I highly recommend Elizabeth Street Pet Hospital.

We have taken our dog to this clinic for the past 7 years and always had an excellent experience. All the staff are very kind and knowledgeable, provide great service and truly care about their patients. We are lucky to never have needed any major treatments or surgeries but even just taking our furry friend here for his annual checkups has been so pleasant that he actually likes going to see the vet. I would not hesitate to recommend this clinic for your pets.

I wish I could give more stars. You can tell when a vet genuinely cares about animals. Dr. Liska is the best Vet I have ever interacted with, he is incredibly compassionate and caring about animals.
I have mostly gone to vets from Calgary and I was absolutely blown away by the treatment from Elizabeth St Pet Hospital.
Their prices are GREAT but you can not compare to the the feeling you get when your pet is actually cared for.

It is obvious from the moment you enter the clinic that all staff are invested in the care and health of your pet. I have a very anxious, senior kitty and am very impressed at how quickly she settled down and was even began purring during her annual checkup. All of my questions and concerns over her aging and possible health concerns that go along with aging, were covered and suggestions made in a proactive manner, so that my Cassie will maintain good health and be as comfortable as possible in her senior years.

Dr. Pavol Liska is amazing. He is kind, considerate and explains everything well. I will never take my dogs elsewhere as long as he is available.

I can’t say enough about this clinic. Everyone there is so kind and accommodating. Dr. Pavol is especially amazing and even when he’s booked up he will do whatever he can to make time for serious cases.

Pavol and Jenna are amazing vets and are always attentive and caring towards all animals. They have both taken care of our cats for years now, and we continue to come back due to the fabulous care.

The staff was excellent. They didn't try to upsell me. They simply did their job and I left with a much healthier cat. Our cat had an abcess on her back. All good now.

We saw Dr. Liska for our initial puppy visit with our 12 week new puppy. He immediately made us at ease as he took the time to explain every aspect of new puppy ownership, care, and pet behaviour. He took the time to observe our puppy's behaviour and health and pointed out what we should expect currently and in the coming weeks. He answered our questions concerning feeding, training and family interactions since we in particular care for our small grandchildren throughout the week. We left feeling confident and assured that we had found a great place that will partner with us in our care and love of our new family member!

We have been coming to Elizabeth Street Pet hospital for over 13 years since we moved from the UK. We even travelled to this clinic when we lived in Calgary for a while as have always had great experiences here. They are very friendly, helpful and honest with treatment plans and aren’t pushy at all with options. Their prices are fair and my fur babies love the attention they get when they come here. Would highly recommend this clinic for your pet needs.

So they killed my friends 4 month old dog the other day.and called it and "equipment malfunction" if you want your dog live and healthy.don't come here.suffocated the poor dog to death and didn't notice there was something blocking the tube. Equipment malfunction or lack of attention to detail?

Very friendly. Great vet gave lots of details. Very few do pregnancy ultrasound. Offered free xray at birth date to be sure no puppy surprise. Super pricing.

We are new to Alberta and needed a good vet. Dr Jenna has been fabulous. She always provides options for care. Is not judgemental to choices made. And pricing is affordable. Highly recommend!

I'm moving to Portugal and want to bring my furry baby with me. Casper is a 12 year old beautiful baby that has blessed my life the first day I met him.
As part of the process of getting Casper ready to enter Portugal he needed to have his shots and microchip implanted. No mention was made about deworming meds. On our last visit to the vet the desk lady told me deworming Casper was a necessary step for him to be allowed entrance into Portugal. I was hesitant as Casper at the time was agitated and I didn't want to worsen his experience at the vet.he doesn't trust vets as he equates them to pain, (microchip, shots etc.)
So they gave me the topical application called "Profender" by Bayer to take home and apply it myself. I did as per the instructions that came in a little sticker on the actual medication. That was yesterday. I noticed a couple of hours later Casper had vomited and had diarrhea. I became confused.
This morning I wake up to find Casper shaking. I immediately searched up the medication online and found out that many other people had experienced the same with their cats, some even died after they or vet applied Profender.
As per one recommendation from a reviewer, I gave Casper an emergency shower (as I did not want him to be sitting in bath water with the poisonous Profender), and used dish soap to release the poisonous oily substance out of Casper's skin. He is still shaking but not as bad. I really pray and hope he will be okay after this experience. He was perfectly healthy before all this madness happened.
My question is WHY WAS I NOT WARNED AGAINST THESE SERIOUS AND POTENTIALLY DEADLY SIDE EFFECTS?
My hope in SHARING this experience is to prevent other pet loving owners from putting their furry babies through this dangerous situation. Please avoid using Profender! It's super toxic and dangerous.
To you Veterinarians and staff: FOR CRYING OUT LOUD WARN YOUR PET OWNERS OF THESE POTENTIAL DANGERS!
I came to you trusting in you and your ability to help and protect my pet! And you failed!
Use some of your over priced fees to print out the side effects of meds you push on pets! Let the owners know what can possibly happen to their pets with these meds!
I truly hope Casper fully recovers from this.

Dr Pavol Liska is amazing. He performed a complicated surgery on my 14 year old Bichon Frise.
He is very thorough and very explanatory and answered all our questions and concerns. My Bichon made a full recovery and we are very happy with the treatment we received and the kindness of the staff.

You know when you go there All the staff will take care of your pet/family member, and your animal will allways be in excellent hands! The vets go the extra Mile and their rates are competitive!

I was charged way more than I should have been - and was expecting based on previous experience - to get my cat spayed, and was also charged for an optional pain killer that I was not asked about beforehand. They did great work tho, the cat is back out in the barn yard and happy.

Good vet but really dissapointed that they sent a discriminatory email against the unvaxxed. They did recind this soon after, which is good.

After waiting 3 days for my usual vet office to get back to me, I quit waiting and phoned Elizabeth St. Vet Clinic. I was so pleased my phone call was answered immediately and I was able to make an appointment within the week! Dr. Melanie Plett is very friendly, practical and so gentle and caring to my two skittish cats. Thank you!

Couldn't get in to see our regular vet with our dog when he became ill. We have been here before. I called and they said come down now and we will get you in. Such a relief! Staff and Dr.were kind and thorough. Our dog is on the mend. We now have a new vet.

Amazing clinic. Great staff. Dr Jenna is so good with Guinness. Not very often you see a dog excited to go to the Vet's office but Guinness really seems to look forward to his visits.

I brought my Frenchie to the clinic with eye problem. Chloe was diagnosed with uveitis, was treated and responded well. I learned about the condition and Dr. Pavol was concerned and very kind, caring. I had some follow up appointments as he wanted to see her progress. I am very impressed with the clinic and staff. I will never go to another vet again if I can help it! Dr. Pavol is so caring and knowledgeable, I always feel 1000% comfortable and confident leaving my appointments because I know my furbabies are getting the best care possible. All my questions are always answered thoroughly and all the staff go above and beyond to make sure I have all the information I need before and after my appointments. I love this vet so much that I drive all the way to Okotoks from Airdrie! That should say something!

Helpful staff other then aggressive "doctor" telling people to wear masks? On July 7 2021? Is he unaware that the oppressive RULES have been dropped and its my choice what I put on my face? Maybe he should join the rcmp if he wants to weird power and control over peoples choices? Boycott Elisabeth st pet hospital, I know after 10 years I will find somewhere else to take my pets.

Best Vet Clinic I have ever gone to! The vet's themselves are incredibly professional, caring, and knowledgable. The ladies behind the desk are always warm and welcoming. This place is top notch! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Dr. Marco Bregliano is a Small Animal Specialist and his staff are the most professional and curtiest staff in the buisness. At both S. A. V. E and Elizabeth St. Pet Hospital

Their care for the animals are second to none and so is the cost.

I live in Calgary and the short ride to Okotoks is well worth the care of my friends. The cost of gas is nothing compared to the savings.

Dr Marco has been my vet for 22 yrs now, and will be, for as long as I have a best friend by my side. I will always reccomend him to my friends and anyone else whose best friend isn't quite feeling right.

It's first time here. Vet Jenna Lindstrom was nery nice when checking my puppy. My puppy is almost 3 months old and came here to get 2nd vaccine. He had not any feeling about vaccine because he was given delicious food by Jenna. Haha
I compared many animal clinic services /prices and finally choose this vet hospital. I came from Calgary and felt that I made a right decision.
(If you come from Calgary, you should have a rest at South Glenmore park in middle of the way. It's a beautiful place.)

Been going to this vet clinic for 5 plus years. Front desk Jen and Janet are a joy to work with. Dr. Jenna is very knowledgeable about cats - we have a 18 1/2 year old cat. Dr. Marco is also very patient, kind and knowledgeable. Would also recommend SAVE for emergency vet care.

I have been taking my Papillon to Elizabeth Street Pet Hospital ever since I got him in 2015. They have always been very good with him from dental work to neutering, yearly exam and yearly shots.
I was just there March 3,2021 and seen Dr. Jenna she is very nice.
Sammie's 6 years of going there he has seen Dr. Pavol Liska, Dr. Marco Bregliano and just recently Dr. Jenna Lindstrom. All the staff there are great and very welcoming.

I wish I could rate even higher than a 5 star. We've been taking our 3 pitbulls there for a few years. To start, the ladies at the front, Janet & Jenn, are professional, personable, extremely helpful and truly care about each and every client. Anytime I call, they will bend over backwards to help me out. Second, Dr. Pavol. I have never met a better vet (and I've been to a few in the city and Okotoks. Dr. Pavol is an incredible vet and individual. We have had a tough year with losing 2 dogs and our 3rd dog needing quite a bit of veterinarian care. Not only did he go above and beyond, I have the utmost faith in his care he provides to the animals. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGLY Recommend this clinic to anyone I could think of. We have been here for a few visits within the past couple weeks which unfortunately ending in having to put our sweet girl down. Dr. Melanie was amazing throughout the entire process, and made us feel so comfortable and took great care of Kona during all of our hardest days. We never felt pressured and they would always do their best to accommodate us! We are new to Okotoks and had not yet found a vet prior to this happening, and we are so glad we came across Dr. Melanie and will continue to take our other animals to her in the future!

My first visit with one of my two pups was today, very pleased! We're from Calgary and have been looking to avoid VCA (owned by Mars corp.) clinics and this place had been recommended to us over a year ago. Our previous clinic just got bought out by VCA, which has finally brought us to here. We are looking forward to a great future with this clinic.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating to help schedule a last minute appointment. Dr. Pavol has always been very patient, compassionate and provides excellent medical advice. It's a longer drive from Calgary where we live but worth the trip to get the quality care for our dog.
