Very big nice park with lots of trails but to see bison I would recommend going in the spring/summer.

Went for some aurora chasing, stayed plenty warm with the firepits at Astotin Lake, and wash rooms were open

Just a regular park… Don’t think it worth the entrance fee… And the speed bump is way overkill for 40zone, have to go like 10km/h if you goes the west entrance

Go when the leaves change color, absolutely stunning!
Also bison won't move off the path so be prepared to Bush wack or walk all the way back.

Lose yourself to the nature! Photo hunt bisons, magpies, beavers to test your luck. Great sceneries and camping grounds for short getaways.

Bisons walk in the park. During summer, you might see them after sunrise and right before sunset. Take caution when in the presence of bison during breeding season from July to September. They are among the most dangerous animals and will attack people if provoked.

If you want to see the bison and other animals you need to visit at dawn or dusk. The bison are not docile timid animals.do not get out of your car and walk towards them.

We made a quick stop on our way back to Regina and we're lucky to see some Buffalo and waterfowl.
It's a beautiful park with trails and lakes. It's worth the stop.
