So far this is the nice but affordable apartment. The place is also quiet and close to many amenities. I am enjoying the stay so far.

Love the 2 bed/ 2 bath options.however there is no security. The storage has been broken into and security cameras don't work.
Also, even though there is a soccer field beside the building.the people being allowed to move in let their kids ride around on bikes in the parking lot and it's the driver of the cars fault if someone gets hit.there is no follow up regarding "evicting" people who don't follow the lease rules.this place could be a great place to live but is currently not.there is also a few late night partiers.

There was also A LOT of damage in our suite when we moved in, they didn't even clean the carpets and now when we move it will be up to us to "fix" the unit.not fair for us to have to pay for previous tenants before us.

The management here is awful, rude and condescending.expect the fire alarms to go off constantly as well.so if you have pets this is a very stressful place for them.units are decent but overpriced.

The parking lot is too slippery even days after snowfall. And nobody should be using QR codes. This one first takes you to a site in Germany then to the Indigo site in Canada.

The staff here (Manager Patricia M.) was very friendly and presented the building well. She was very responsive with emails to ensure a smooth transition with securing a unit. I highly recommend Emerald or other properties owned by CityVibe in Calgary.

I have rented with Emerald Sky for almost 2 years and I can genuinely say it feels like home. And the reason why is the people. The property manager Patricia is incredible! She is polite and professional. She always listens to suggestions and concerns and helps find a solution. She genuinely cares about the tenants. I truly hope Patricia stays for the long haul as she is so on top of things!
I also want to give a shout out to Francesca and Sarah! You ladies are always a pleasure to deal with also and make this a great place to live. Thank you for going above and beyond.
Lastly - Joe and Erickson! These guys are superhero’s and take such immaculate care of this property. They are much loved by many tenants and it’s joy to see them in passing - always with a smile on their faces.

I could not ask for a better place to live! Emerald Sky/City Vibe has knocked it out of the park!

We recently moved here and the whole process of moving was so smooth and amazing and it is all because of Patricia MacKay (Community Manager).

She clearly communicated what is needed.
She clarified all my questions and replied my Emails on Time.

Finally: As a Newcomer to this country I felt more welcoming talking to Patricia, She is kind and helpful.

Pros I Found:
Buildings are new and the heating systems are great.
Natural Lighting, Huge windows.
Everything is near by. Walmart, Banks, Food, Drinks. Me and my wife love to walk to these stores in the evenings.

Really worst experience. They book my appointment for viewing but when I visit there on my appointment time, they said nothing is available. If they don’t have anything available then whey they booked an appointment

Units are nice, new. Not too much noise between units. Slightly overpriced for how small they are. Management staff try their best, but I do not believe that Carlisle Developments employs enough staff to deal with a full building. This corner cutting results in 2-3 week delay in contacting them for any issues. Unfortunately in my experience this is standard in the city.

I have just lived here for a couple of weeks. So far I like my apartment. And the building looks well taken care of with the amenities in good shape. The management staff were very kind and helpful in helping me setting in.

I have rented here for three years and I cannot say I have enjoyed it. The only thing I could say is that it was new when I rented, I have only called them for maintenance twice and it took them months to get it resolved. Now I want to move out and they want me to do everything for them including painting. Living in a space for almost 3 years and you want it like it was, tenant is required to steam clean the carpet and paint too. Even little pin holes in the wall. All rent paid over time and I’m still to do everything for your next tenant after leaving the premises clean. This place is not good at all. Do not rent!

Honestly I'm just writing this review so Emerald Sky will stop emailing me every 2-3 days to review my experience. They lost a few stars on this review because of that.
Other than that, I am very happy living here. I've been here about a year now and the building is well maintained, rules are reasonable, the company is professional, and the neighbours are very friendly.

Becareful.

The location was good, but the landlord needed to paint a lot of walls, especially the carpets, which needed to be professionally cleaned at a cost of $160. So I only got about half of the demage deposit back.

Big shout out to Hitendar and Francesca!

I’m relocating from Toronto to Calgary and this duo have been nothing but amazing to me. From the application process to the showing which I got a friend to do for me in my absence to document submission and approval Hitender and Francesca have been absolute sweethearts.they patiently and professionally worked with me via phone calls and emails They have shown great empathy and understanding to my situation which is something lacking in our today’s world. My experience with other landlords and property managers during this process of my relocation hasn’t been a pleasant one which made me almost give up hope but Coming in contact with Hitendar and Francesca put a stop to all of my tension and anxiety and brought me so much peace of mind which is something I do not compromise on when renting. My friend Linda who viewed the units on my behalf can’t stop talking about the pristine nature of the units and entire environment. I enjoyed every process of the walk through though I joined via FaceTime, the units are so neat and well kept with ample storage space etc perfect for my little family. My daughter and I are super excited and can’t wait to move in and to also meet these amazing people in person. Do I need to mention that Hitendar is pretty new on the job but handled everything like an expert. This left a lasting impression on my friend and I and I just want to say “kudos and keep up the good work”. I hope you both are the 1st people we meet with at the management office on the day of our arrival

No move in/move out inspection done by management. Damage from water leaks in upper units was left unfixed. Had WI-FI and cellular connection issues due to the garage door. Poor communication between our household and management.

Crystal is the best personality i've met ever. The way she identifies with clients and solve their issues, in my opinion, is "magical". We need more of Crystal at Emerald Sky. Thank you again Crystal for helping me out. You are simply the best.

I am a tenant at this condo and have seen many property management come and go. Once again, I recently found out that Therese no longer works at Emerald sky. It was unfortunate timing. But I am pleased though, that she did help us with our concerns at that time of her being there.

I've met the new property manager, Crystal and from what I've seen. Her efforts of organizing what Therese left unfinished, I was impressed of how she is able to not only get things done with tenants moving in and out. But able to fix alot of the mess that is overwhelming for just one person.

She is professional, easy going personality and has managed to help us while juggling other responsibilities. I am pleased that Crystal is willing to make the best of a crazy situation, and balance the daily task of having to deal with everything in a short time of her being there. Just wanna say great job on Crystal's part. Thank you.

We are very disappointed with the office’s lack of professionalism and reliability. We were primarily assisted by Therese who was nice and competent, then Crystal took over and was extremely rude from the beginning and sent us erroneous informations on the unit we were interested, which highlights the lack of organization and accountability of the staff.
It was also very hard to contact them as they never answered the phone and refused to even schedule a time for a viewing.
The location is relatively good but because of the unreliability of the personnel I wouldn’t recommend applying to this facility.

Really think twice about renting here! I had them welding over my car last fall doing damage to my car and I’m still waiting to hear what they are going to do to repair it! Lived with people about me for 8 months that had no respect for their neighbours. They did nothing and these people stored something on their deck that spilled twice onto me leaving my deck a horrible mess. The elevators break down weekly and have for two years! I’ll live out my lease but then I’m gone! Office staff changes every couple of months so no sense talking to them about any problems cause they are here today gone tomorrow!

So far for the rental experience, I really appreciated all the staff trying their best to provide good customer service.

The only bad experience I had was that there were not respectful tenant.

Well, I initially rated this building and experience as a 5 star. When I initially inquired about renting I was met by a wonderful property manager Therese. She went above and beyond for me and many other residents I have since met. Unfortunately, Therese is no longer with City Vibe.

Another property manager took over by the name of Crystal Ewasiuk and I wish I could say the experience and customer service driven atmosphere remained the same, but it has gone down hill. The way in which previous staff and current tenants are treated and spoken too is very unprofessional and rude.

I spoke to Jenn who is another manager above Crystal, and she did resolve my issue and took the time to listen to my concerns.

Hopefully they can find another property manager to bring back the community feel soon. I appreciate Jenn taking the time to call and resolve my concerns.

It’s hard to call this place anything but a scam. After a month long experience my partner and I are relieved to be done, albeit a couple hundred dollars out of pocket.

We had a good first overall impression - Therese seemed to be lovely and attentive as well as motivated to have us fill one of the available units. She managed to get us in the same day to see the unit, and we put an application in with their deposit fee immediately. The application stated it would be processed within 72 hours. We waited a full week and heard nothing, so we attempted to make contact. We called over 20 times during office hours, trying the 2 numbers we could find with no answer, and no option to leave a message. Finally, we got an answer to an email saying we would find out the next day.

Upon hearing this, we anxiously awaited the next day and we heard nothing, so we called again, this time on our 6th attempt managed to get through to her, they were finally beginning to process our application. Then, they contacted an emergency contact (in hindsight we should not have put this person down) as a reference, rather than any of the people we listed as references which has caused a plethora of interpersonal issues.
Following these unpleasant experiences with Emerald Sky and lack of care from staff, we made the decision to withdraw our application which cost us 1/4 of our deposit fee. They said the cheque would be processed and would soon be available to us. We heard nothing about this cheque for over a week and a half so eager to get our funds back, we emailed again. We received a forwarded message saying that our cheque was ready, and to provide us with the information to pick it up, which was not even done. We had to call to find out details of when and where it would be available. It was not made available to us at the address we were trying to rent at, but an office across the city and only before 5pm, making it extremely challenging to pick it up with regular work hours.

While we understand that these are busy times for Emerald Sky, they made us feel like far less than a priority and had little consideration for our time or money and we would not recommend renting here.

There were some problems with communication in the beginning, however, Crystal was able to get everything sorted for us and answer all of our questions. She even went out of her way to contact us via her personal phone while she was out of the office. We really appreciate that!

Crystal is the manager and she is so rude and condescending. She treats everyone like they are nothing and that she holds the power like a narcissist. She is so fake and a pain to deal with. Julia and Jessica are way nicer and understanding and know what they are doing. I am waiting for my broken fixtures to be fixed and Crystal says that it is not her problem and ignores me and said I knew what I was getting into and if I didn’t like it to break the lease and move out. Its now a tenancy board issue and I am gonna sue her and the company for all the damage caused. I Would never rent from this company ever again, don’t be fooled by there dumb incentives!

My boyfriend and I decided to move in together and had been looking for the right place and this is it! Crystal and Noelle have been beyond amazing, working with our schedules and answering every single one of our questions (which is ALOT). They have made time for us even without an appointment and have been so kind making this whole expierence so much easier! They have kept in touch and made things happen quickly for us. I honestly can’t say enough about how great they both are! My boyfriend and I are so happy to be calling this place home!

Words can't say enough about her smiley welcome and hard work to process the application within the tight time line.
The community and buildings are new and clean and includes all the amenities you would like to have and enjoy with.

My experience with Crystal is one to appreciate. My in-laws had put a deposit in for a specific suite a few days ago. Crystal replied with an email stating it got rented out prior to receiving the deposit. She suggested another available unit and asked if we would like to view it. We took up the offer. When we arrived, Crystal seemed very busy but was very accomdating. She had the paperwork all ready and even did the credit check while we waited. She apologized for the mixup with the first unit but she did make up for it. Crystal went above and beyond to make sure everything was good to go from checking out the unit, to finalizing paperwork, to arranging the assigned parking and booking the elevator for move in day. This girl is busy! There are 2 ladies in this office that seem very busy looking after the buildings and new applications. I appreciate you making the time to accomdate us today!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING TO RENT HERE. THEY TAKE YOUR DEPOSIT AND WILL GIVE AWAY YOUR SUITE TO SOMEONE ELSE! Management wont reply to you unless head office gets contacted. I

just wanted to let you know that we have tried to rent out at the Kincora location at Emerald Sky. We ended up not signing a lease in the end as our experience have been very unsatisfactory. I have wrote an email to your office as well.

Please have your staff trained on how to be more organized when potential customers are inquiring about your rental apartments. First of all, we have made a deposit to secure a suite for a main floor unit. A few days lAter, it was given to someone else. They negotiated with us for a second floor and we agreed. And then that became unavailable as well. After that, a third floor was offered to us. We had enough and ended up not going with a lease with Emerald Sky. If in the beginning this was already happening, how much more incovenience it would be if we sign a contract with Emerald Sky? This is the main reason why we ended up going to a different rental place. This all happened in a span of one week. It was mentioned from the office at Emerald Sky that we didnt leave any phone number at the application form. That might have been true but we have records of Emerald Sky phoning us after filling out the application form. And those phone calls were made before I made an official complaint to you before we ended up asking for a refund. It was a very disappointing and stressful experience. To be honest, we feel that your staff has no empathy at all with your customers or potential renters. I was even told that I would have to discipline my kids if they keep running around if we end up in a second floor. I did tell your staff at Emerald Sky eventually that you can only say so much to a toddler to stop running around and I cannot guarantee that. And this is the main reason why we made a deposit to secure a main floor in the first place. Not a second floor. Not a third floor.

I am actually glad and relieved that we ended up with a different rental place that treated us with respect and professionalism. Moving into a new home should not be stressful. Please have your staff understand that philosophy. Your business still exist because of customers. There are lots of other rental places out there in competition with you. No matter how much incentive you have, your reputation will be known to many potential renters. Based on our experience with you, I will not recommend your rental places to any of my friends and family and even colleagues. It is plain wrong to ask for a deposit to secure a place and end up giving it to someone else.

Aside from the modern designs and the great views, the best thing about this place is the team of managers, Karli and Tammy. They are so in to you that it already feels like home. Karli’s professionalism gives you a warm feeling in a January winter and everyone deserves to meet her and Tammy.

The project is well built, looks great, and is priced well under other apartments in the area. The fitness centre and underground heated parking put it over the top of other apartment buildings that we looked at.

Emerald Sky by Carlisle Group are one of the most nice Complex with apartments and Town-homes.
The units have everything that a Family needs (underground parking, in-suite W&D, beautiful views, and the location is fantastic.).
The Builder uses only professional trades and high quality products for their Clients.

My experience here has been amazing. Between Karli and Diana they have the dream team of management. Any questions or concerns are answered timely and effectively. The property and the units are gorgeous and in my opinion such great value for what you get. Depending on your needs the building has underground heated parking, a gym, storage units, air conditioning etc. The tenants are friendly and welcoming. All of the newer developed amenities nearby (5 minute walk) are such a great convenience! All in all, I would totally recommend this place to anybody!
