We moved into our (new-to-us) home in July 2022. While most of the home has been beautifully renovated, the attic insulation had never been topped up in the 44 years the home has been standing. We were able to take advantage of the Canadian Greener Homes Grant and obtained a few quotes with some local companies.
We were immediately impressed with Energy Savers. The owner, Steve, completed the initial quote and took the time to sit down with me to review all of his recommendations. He was extremely thorough and answered all of my questions. He was honest and even provided feedback on the items our retrofit inspection suggested we upgrade.
The work we had done required multiple visits (due to the Grant timelines/processes and weather/roof work). The team was always professional, kept me informed during the process, and provided feedback where necessary.
We are completely confident that all of the work has been done right the first time.

We had our attic worked on today and I can truly say that dealing with Energy Savers Insulation was a pleasure from the beginning. Steve arrived early to do the quote and inspection and was friendly and very knowledgeable. We booked within minutes of him leaving our home.

The day of the appointment the guys doing the job arrived 15 minutes before the appointment and they were both a pleasure to have. Very friendly and professional. They did the job very well and cleaned up every last crumb of insulation after they were done.

I had four other quotes done before selecting this company, and they really outshone them all. I strongly recommend you at least get them to come and look at your job and give you a quote before you go with any other insulation company.

Steve came and had a proper look around my attic and gave me a quote at no charge, and he knew more about insulation than anyone else I talked to. He actually understood what was happening, and what needed to be done. And guess what? These guys were also the cheapest! They refused to do anything that didn't need to be done, whereas every other company I talked to were eager to do all sorts of unnecessary (or just plain wrong) things and were giving me quotes 5x higher than Steve.

Also, this company uses a superior insulation product that is far better than the shredded paper products every other company tried to sell me.

The installers were also fantastic, extremely professional and detail oriented, and a pleasure to have in my home. They took great care to make sure every little item that needed attention was properly taken care of.

I am so happy I went with this company, and I am sure you will be too. I will definitely be contacting them again for any sort of future insulation projects.

Energy Savers updated my insulation in my attic space as we had serious heat loss issues. Needless to say we should have done this years ago, we can't believe the difference in our home. My second level is now so warm (even in the last -30 cold snap) that we had to adjust heat registers.

Steve & Energy Savers are true professionals and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for any work done to their attic spaces. During the winter squall windstorm that occurred in January our Turbine came right off our roof and Energy Savers were very quick to come out and replace and install a new unit with no pain. After having such a great experience I also wanted a consultation and inspection to upgrade our attic insulation as I noticed change in temperature when going between our main floor and upstairs rooms. SO GLAD WE DID.turns out that I had a winter wonderland up there due to poor HVAC work quality from our homes previous owners and as a result there was large snow build up, actual icicles and turned out was “the worst” that the company and workers had ever seen in their years of experience. Because we were so lucky to have had the worst attic in Sherwood Park history, we were able to get a prioritized appointment and resolution to the issue.

I cannot state enough, if you want a company that is fair, transparent and will treat you well don’t look further. Go check them out now for any of your needs!

Right from the moment I made contact with them I was impressed.

I contacted their office to schedule a quote, the office manager was friendly, knowledgeable answering the questions I had and was able to schedule an appointment within a few days.

The owner of the company showed up as scheduled to do the estimate. He was able to answer all my questions and more. I was impressed enough to book the appointment with his office just minutes after he left my home.

Day of the job, the workers arrived about 15mins early, got right down to business and started getting ready to do the work. They were extremely polite, courteous and friendly. They did a fantastic job, as well as taking the time to explain what was being done and answer any further questions. When they were done they paid as much attention to detail in their clean up as they did in their set up and work. The only way you’d be able to tell they were in my home is by the temperature in the house is now at a comfortable level. Without hesitation I would use this company again and recommend it to anyone in need of the services they provide.

I was having issues with attic rain and a stain showed up on my ceiling even though our shingles were new and not leaking. Steve was awesome from the start. He gave me a detailed rundown and the reasoning behind his recommendations for additional insulation and ventilation improvements. I could tell he knew what he was doing and trusted his opinion. The work took a minimal amount of time, was in my opinion a very good price, his guys were polite and professional, and everything was spotless when they were done. It's been about a month and my house had been unbelievably cool this summer even though we don't have AC.

Met Steve from Energy Savers at the recent Home Renovation show, and was impressed with his knowledge and willingness to spend as much time as needed to discuss our home insulation (despite the business of a trade show). A few days later he came for site visit, and again spent the time to ensure we understood the entire process. In going into the attic he noticed an 8" duct hooked up to a 4" bathroom ventilation fan. Not a good thing! He then went through a detailed quote, which included a VERY reasonable fee to change up the duct, and we booked on the spot. No regrets as the insulation job was completed quickly, efficiently and thoroughly. Ryan and Cody were both highly professional, and before starting explained the process and all they were going to do while in our home. As part of the service they also fixed a vent cover leak in our roof! Once they were done we were allowed to inspect their work before making payment. All in all one of the best contractor experiences we've ever had, and I would HIGHLY recommend their services.

I had a great experience with Energy Savers Insulation. Right from the get go Steve was great to deal with. He took the time to explain to me what his suggestions were and his price was lower than a competitive quote I had gotten for the same services. I really appreciated Steve's approach to the process, he was consultative and did not pressure at all to get a sale.

The insulation was installed by Carlin and another employee (forget his name), both were friendly and professional. They took the time to explain to me what they did and cleaned up well after.

I had some questions afterwards and Steve was easily reachable and seemed happy to be of help afterwards.

Very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism that this company operates. Met with Steve for an estimate and he answered all my questions and more. He did not try to pitch his products but discussed our problem with our attic and how best to proceed. He did an inspection of the attic and gave us options. After reviewing his estimate with other estimates we proceed with an appt.we were quickly scheduled. His crew, Ryan and Ethan, arrived on time and within a couple of hours were finished and cleaned up both outside and in. Very easy to talk to and also answered my question as they performed the work.
