Staff does not check to see if names coincide with account numbers, anyone can call and close an account and they will not confirm it is yours by asking for the account number. Why do they employ people who lack basic knowledge of what they are supposed to be doing. Unprofessional and disappointing at best.

This was a few years ago, during strong winds, I noticed brownouts but didn't think too much of it, until one particular storm left me with a dead $1300 computer monitor. I called Enmax, and they told me their responsibility ended at the power pole or something like that. An employee came to check the wires between the power pole and the house and he replaced a few connections. The technician said nothing was wrong, of course. What do you know, never had the lights flickering during high winds since. Enmax would admit there was a connection between the storm, brownouts and my dead monitor, and I paid out of pocket for a new one. It was a great monitor.
