I needed someone to come look at my roof had a water leak stain inside my home, called a few roofing companies and could not believe! They were going to charge me to come check my roof.
Then I came across epic roofing
Mr. Dave came out to check my roof no charge, very good company
I will be using this company for any of my future roofing needs

Showed up on time
Completed nod right on schedule
Clean up was grea and price was reasonable

Like a lot of other people we were hit with a severe hailstorm in 2022. As a HAAG certified roof inspector I have become very knowledgeable in Epic roofing in the Calgary area and it was a no brainer to contact them for the repairs to our home. I should have done more research. The product is very good but the crew that they used should not be used at all. 1st they parked their truck on our asphalt driveway and sunk into it and put in many low spots from the weight. 2nd they drove their truck into the back yard via my neighbors property without any permission from myself or my neighbors causing damage to 3 properties causing ruts on my entire property and theirs. I'd also like to add that this is something that is NEVER to be done in this industry. At first they were prompt to come out and take photographs with I had already done and sent in. Over the last few months there has almost been no communication from their office and I'm afraid that if no communication is given on their part we will have to seek legal action. We only want our lakeside community property to be put back to its original state!

Epic was recommended by my insurance company to repair hail damage.very unprofessional, took the crew 4 days to shingle the house (a 3 bdrm house with attached garage) were late showing up, were yelling and swearing loudly while on my roof on a weekend when there are lots of kids playing in neighbors yards.left a lot of nails and cigarette butts behind on my property.dropped bundles of shingles so hard that it burnt out multiple kitchen, dining room and garage light bulbs, wrinkled the facia in multiple spots and left it, didnt properly seal up the nail heads on the roof vents and plumbing stacks.
I requested that they come back and seal up the fasteners and repair the damages, they came back 3 times, each time not completing the job.i ended up having another roofer do an inspection and finish nailing down the vents and sealing them.terrible company, save yourself the hassle and hire someone professional. Epic roofing is an Epic failure.

Materials were in short supply when I ordered my roof. They kept me updated as to when the materials were in and also when the installation could begin. Once it was started, Mario did an AMAZING job! Cleanup was also exceptional.

After my roof was damaged by hail this year, insurance company sent out epic for a quote. The guy and his helper were nice enough and the main guy was old enough to know his job.
I received the quote from insurance which seemed correct, but then I received a follow up email from Epic and this is where things went extremely sideways.
They told me my roof did not meet code and needed to be changed to a flat roof.
Well well, when you are in the business of construction, like me, every thing you do is code related. And I know many codes as my job depends on it. Having said that, I expected the same from a roofing company sent by my insurance company to quote on my roof.
I know for a fact that my roof met codes when my home was built.
I know for a fact that you do not need a permit for a replacing shingles.
I know the local code inspectors because I deal with codes and permits almost on a daily basis.
I confirmed my knowledge by reaching out to the local building inspector whom clarified that in fact I did not need a permit for shingle replacement and I sure didn't need to remove my rafters and have a flat roof installed.
Now, I highly doubt the guy they sent did not know the codes related to re-shingling a roof or he wouldn't have the responsibilities that goes with quoting on jobs.
I highly doubt he was new at this as again, he would not be put in a position of quoting without experience and knowledge of roofing and correct procedures including knowing codes related to the task at hand.
This leaves only one possibility and that is: He out right lied to me and my wife on what our house required. I certainly in no way in hell would have a flat roof ever put on my house at an extreme cost and to devalue my property.
I have no idea what this guy was thinking, other than trying to pull a fast one on me and do something absolutely wrong by declaring that my home did not meet city of Red Deer's building codes.
Well, epic roofing, not only does my home meet codes as built, you lost my work and I get to tell this story to all my friends, family, and coworker's and everyone whom starts a conversation on roofing.
As far as I am concerned, I was emailed a out right lie at what my needs required. Thank goodness I work in construction and work directly with code officers employed with the city of Red Deer.

Epic replaced our roof after a Storm 3 years ago, they were so incredibly efficient and professional when this hail storm hit we specifically requested them and were not disappointed in the service. Very attentive and courteous. Would recommend without question.

After the hail storm that hit Calgary in 2020, my house required shingle, siding and window screen replacement through insurance. Epic was my insurance company's preferred go-to. Overall, Epic has very good customer service with professionalism and integrity. They kept me up-to-date on the progress of the replacements. Easy to work with, scheduling to completion was executed without a hitch. David helped select colors of shingles to be used, when we were in doubt. Dave and his crew from Red Deer did an amazing residing job on our older home. His crew meticulously installed the siding on a difficult home. They left the yard cleaner then when they arrived, the very friendly crew took the time to explain each step as they went. The whole street has stopped by to say how great the house looks.
