Epiphanie Chocolate

Went from being the best chocolate shop in calgary to just ok, and certainly not worth the prices. The former owner made the best chocolate and whoever is making them now is clearly not as skilled. Sad

Beautiful designs and so many unique flavors to choose from. Super friendly and welcoming, too.

Their chocolate were so delicate. I had a lot of different flavors in dark chocolate. Almost every flavor went well except the osmanthus was a little bit too much for me.

Just get whatever flavors you like, I highly recommend visiting here!

I received a box of Epiphanie Chocolates as a Birthday gift and OMG! They were AMAZING! I don't know Calgary very well but will make a point of finding going to this shop for chocolates.

After being repeatedly disappointed by Bernard Callebaut recently, we tried Epiphanie and could not have been more thrilled. John was extremely knowledgeable, great customer service, and most importantly, the chocolates were delicious. Price point is what you would expect from chocolates of this quality, about $2/piece. Would definitely return!

I've been going to this hidden gem over a decade the quality in flavor and chocolate is to die for. I would better than those Purdys etc, the authentic handcrafted chocolate and various unique flavors always captivates for me to go by there for a nibble or two. Decided to review as I have never done before and it is worth your visit. There is always constant flow of customer so most times the chocolate are sold within shortly they made. I'll recommend anyone who wants to indulge in good quality chocolates to give a quick visit. I hope this place stays forever.

I personally have never met better people and better quality of choclate ever. I order for all my friends and they have never had better. I'd give 10 stars

Such a lovely experience today at Epiphanies Chocolate. I got a nice 15 piece of Chocolates for a Christmas present and was given a couple samples while I was shopping. The Peanut Butter Chocolate was fantastic. Anyone giving this locally owned and operated shop negative reviews are out to lunch. Highly recommend and will be back again soon! Thanks for the service

I called Epiphanie Chocolate from Grande Prairie to have a box of chocolates delivered to a friend for her birthday on a Saturday. John was so pleasant to work with. Their courier doesn't deliver on Saturdays but when I explained that she was, for the second year in a row, spending her birthday away from her family home with a sick child at the Children's Hospital, John made sure that the gift got delivered. My friend loved the chocolates, and now I can't wait to try them in person when I'm next in Calgary. Excellent customer service!

My friend and I have been watching your store all day from an online camera on YouTube. It was very interesting. I hope your store stays there as long as the flower shop next door. By the way, we were watching from Russia. And we hope to taste your chocolates someday.

I have tried the chocolates here before and they’re not as good as Bernard, but I was gonna shop here again and then I read Jason’s review. I’m a cyclist and no the elliptical is not the same as an actual bike. I will NOT be buying from you and will tell everyone I know that you oppose cycle lanes. No way will I shop at your store.

I was skeptical walking in due to the look of the place, but don't be fooled, these chocolates are truly something special! Each bite was an incredible burst of flavour and they are all so unique. Well done! We loved the passion fruit one and the saskatoon lemon.

Stopped in today just on a whim. Friendly customer service and AMAZING chocolates. We got the Passion Fruit, Saskatoon Lemon, and Mint with the Passion Fruit being the show stopper. A little pricier than your average chocolate, but the quality of the ingredients shines through. Would highly recommend!

I needed an icing sheet printed for a cake and they printed it quickly and in excellent quality! The owners were very friendly and professional. Their chocolate is exceptional as well, I would highly recommend!

My godmother, who lives in Newfoundland, wanted to order an anniversary gift for us and was having a really hard time finding someone who could deliver chocolates. She connected with this shop and the owner delivered them to us HIMSELF! They clearly take amazing care of theirs customers.

This place has the best hot chocolate in town, even better than any that I’ve tried during chocolate fest, friendly service too

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this cute shop a while back and tried their spicy hot chocolate and Ecuadorian one! It was super tasty and the man and lady are very pleasant. Went back today and my experience was no different. They are super welcoming and that hot chocolate is just delicious. Not too sweet, not too bitter - perfect!

This was my first time to visit Epiphanie Chocolate and I am sure happy I decided to check it out. The building is old but eclectic and I am happy to spend my money on top quality chocolate instead of fancy decor! I needed a stocking stuffer and the gentleman at the front was very helpful in getting me a nice selection of chocolate and packaged them in no time flat. The chocolates were very good and I will be back for more!

I’m sure this place is amazing but I did call them to inquire about Praline Easter eggs (the mini ones) and the person over the line didn’t seem to understand what “praline” meant. It was very confusing. Starting to tell me more about eggs they had and that they were filled with hazelnut and rice crispies? And other eggs they offered. I appreciate the offer and the creativity but that’s not what I’m looking for. Every chocolate aficionado would know those Praline Eggs. Disappointing, but doesn’t mean I wouldn’t try it for something else.

John made me excellent branding choclates with my company logo on them and I was very happy with his products. John is also an extremely personable and friendly person to talk to. I’ve visited his little boutique and it’s very well maintained. He offers a very delightful product for business owners and anyone wanting high end quality chocolates. I do not usually eat chocolate, but I use it to promote my business and my customers just crazy about it.

I went there to buy a fresh cup of coffee and John made it from scratch, it was great. I also bought a chocolatey drink and it was what they call an "experience": spicy, good aroma, and well, chocolatey. All drinks were served hot, they took a while to make but the wait was well worth it. Wish I had one now, the chocolatey drink that is. Thanks,

Small space very close to downtown but man oh man. The smell of chocolate inside is incredible! They make the chocolates on site and they have a lot of varieties and they are good i originally went there to pick up the edible image i ordered for a cake i was making and ended up buying chocolates too lol the owners are so nice too and very accommodating

These are great chocolates and made in Calgary. Good variety for everyone's taste buds. You can even have your company logo or picture on their chocolates. Highly recommended.
