Equipment Express Okotoks

This summer I took my Cub Cadet riding lawn mower after a small engine fire to Equipment Express in Okotoks and was very happy with the service.
After the initial review of the engine, further problems were discovered and I was contacted immediately to determine if I wanted to continue with the repairs. I was advised that the required parts would take time to be shipped and it was going to take longer than originally anticipated. The company contacted me regularly with updates. I was treated very fairly and when I picked up my lawn mower it looked like new and ran like new and it didn’t cost anywhere near the price of a new one.

Absolutely outstanding service and pricing is actually lower than the box stores. It's so refreshing to actually get exactly what is promised at the right price. Matt helped me with the purchase of a Toro mower last year, and $16 part for my Trimmer this year. Doesnt matter whether spending $16 or $600, same great service.

I brought our Husqvarna saw here for repair as it was not running right. They diagnosed a problem with the carb, after they tried rebuilding it they called and said the carb could not be fixed and need to be replaced. I agreed and eventually got my saw back. After trying it one time we realized that it still was not running properly, so we returned it again. This time they phoned and said the saw was missing an intake manifold clamp and the saw was damaged beyond repair. So after hundreds of dollars in repairs I'm now left with a $3000.00 saw that came back in a million parts. Don't waste your time & money with these guys, they have no idea how to properly fix small engines. Everyone makes mistakes, (i.e. Forgetting to reinstall the hose clamp) however the good companies will own up to it and make it right, these guys will just give you a saw in a million pieces and say it's your problem. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else!

Great help to a guy that knows nothing of this equipment. Prices are better than big box stores with amazing selection and service.

I was looking for a new chainsaw and had been at a couple of big box stores but then decided to try Equipment Express for the first time. The young lady, Jaelyn, who assisted me was extremely knowledgeable about the all the equipment. She was extremely courteous and helpful in selecting the correct saw for my requirements. As well, she was did a great job in describing care and maintenance requirements for the saw and also discussed the importance of personal safety and protective equipment which I thought was another step above what I have experienced in the past when making similar types of purchases. She made my purchasing experience very enjoyable - I will definitely be back in the store for future purchases thanks to this experience.

This was the first snow blower we ever purchased. We originally had a snowblower set aside but when we got there it was quite large. We spoke with Matt about the size and weight. He said that the particular model was good for gravel roads and would leave about an inch of snow behind. Being new at this I explained we're just doing a driveway and about a hundred feet of sidewalk. I also mentioned I had several neighbors in my previous neighbourhood who owned the smaller Toros.
Matt said that size of model would be sufficient for our needs.
Equipment Express also carried Husqvarna snow blowers and Matt explained the difference between the Toros and Husqvarnas. We asked which would he recommend overall and he said the Husqvarna. It has a 3 year warranty and he bought his father one.
I appreciate the detailed explanation which helped us settle on the Husqvarna ST151 snowblower.
We also used Equipment Express assembly, inspection carburetor test and adjustment option.
We are very happy with the service we received.

I was searching for a new chainsaw so we could take the kids to cut firewood. Equipment Express came up in my search so I dropped by and looked through their inventory. I dealt with two staff who were both very thorough in answering my questions and offering guidance. Ultimately, I went back two days later and bought a Husquavarna. They were very clear that it was ok for occasional firewood, but by no means professional grade. Although the saw worked great, I realized after our first outing that it was not quite enough saw, and that I should have spent just a little more to get what I wanted. When I called to inquire about trading it up for the other option they suggested, I was told there would be a 10% restocking fee, which made sense as it would need to be inspected and cleaned, then sold as used. In fact, they didn't even charge me the restocking fee!? I would strongly recommend them, as I felt no pressure, attempt to upsell; and their willingness to eat my own mistake makes me a loyal customer for life.

I have dealt with Matt, Jordan, a young gal and a couple of other staff and they are all excellent. They are helpful, knowledgeable and competent and I have a high level of trust when they have been working on my equipment such as; a push mower, chain saw, ride-on mower and snowblower.

Great place, very knowledgeable staff. I like that they give you a quote before repairing so there is no surprises. Just bought a weed Wacker they were great help to get the right one for me. Thanks guys
