Eric's No Frills

I came here to buy my groceries this evening and the front end staff are highly unprofessional and rude! As a FRONT END customer service employee I would imagine they not be rude and drive off customers. The front end female worker with glasses and blonde hair working this evening March 1st, acted very unprofessional, inappropriate and rude towards us and spoke to us in a very demeaning way. Any form of professionalism or kindness could have been expressed during our confrontation with her, which she did not do. Safeway employees are always kind and professional, so I will be taking my shopping there.

Do not expect customer service at the store. Popular items on flyer have no stock just waste of time.

Nice quiet location with an excellent selection of produce and meat. Can't get much more out of a grocery store!

It was okay. Some good prices on produce. But I bought some hazelnut coffee whitener, a big bottle so not cheap, and it was lumpy and smelled sour.

Loblaws stores have, in my experience, problems keeping dairy and dairy substitutes properly refrigerated. I've had bad yogurt from Superstore and bad milk from Shopper's Drug Mart, their sister companies.

I know not to buy their food with the paltry 30% discount stickers, but this coffee whitener had an expiry date far in the future and was not discounted.

And given how much companies like coffee whitener companies have to pay each year to have shelf space at Loblaws (one of the reasons for high food prices), you think they could expect refrigeration in transport and storage.

My husband has partial anosmia so he used some without knowing. But I opened and it smelled awful. Thank goodness he didn't get sick.

I rarely go to Loblaws stores, and now I've been reminded as to why. I've never had this kind of problem at competitor stores other than a convenience store carton of milk in the 1980s.

So buy produce, probably dry goods if you can find a good deal, but no dairy other than hard cheeses.

Well-staffed and very clean. This store is always bright and clean, and smells freshly scrubbed. A large number of items with good prices. Not always the best meat selection, but that's not a big problem for me.

I'm not a regular shopper here. Staff was friendly. Found some good deals, some things were higher priced than other stores I shop at. I think most food stores are like that. Was hard pressed to find a half decent onion, all were pretty much soft. Most prices were reasonable. Good place to get in and out of quickly.

Quiet and easy to navigate but not very many cashiers on the tills. Stocked well and lots of parking.

Moved recently to the Rainbow Falls neighborhood and I absolutely love the fact that I can walk to No Frills. They have almost everything that a big grocery store has. I am also very surprised with the amount of plant based products they offer. I wish they had a bakery with fresh baked goods. Customer service has been great so far.

The 5 star rating is addressed to one employee in particular.
After a somewhat disappointing experience in the store, I was offered help by Morgan from the cashier dept. Not only did she go above and beyond to help me, but she was friendly and professional while I explained my grievances about my experience in the store to her. The other staff should take note. She is the only reason I might shop here again.

Always a good experience here. Staff are friendly if you need them and the selection is decent. Priced are also pretty good.

If I had an ask it would be for more plant based products.

They always limit their special sale item. So there's always some left for other customers.

Shop at the No Frills in Chestermere this morning the store is clean. My only complaint when you get to the checkouts they aren't following the covid rules. With the social distancing by using both belts so customers aren't six feet apart then when cashier is done scanning the groceries she will leave her till and walk right behind you.

I should have brought 3 of me but lol cause everytime I go into a grocery store my eyes are sometimes bigger than my stomach but Eric's no frills I think bar none is the best grocery store I've been to during this pandemic I must say Star rating forsure the staff was extremely helpful and I even had to ask an employee on the floor if he could help carry one of my baskets he was happy to help they have glass dividers and hostess helping direct the shoppers to the next available till or cashierthey even have social stickers on the store floor reminding people to give space and they sanitize between every order I actually was quite impressed goid value for your buck friendly staff and covid safety measures fully accounta for its a win in my eyes going to Eric's NO Frills in Chestermere just down off rainbow rd s.e thanks for making my shopping experience a great one!

Produce section is always sparse and run out of some produce especially cilantro. I have been there on different days and different time of the day and the same result of produce out of stock or only the scraps left

Great store except that they never have enough cases of water and they limit them when they are on sale. Then we have to drive all the way to Chestermere to get more water. I like to stock up on my water as I hate tap water and I drink a lot of water because of being diabetic. So Airdrie No-Frills needs to get more water and at least allow 6 cases per person! Just my opinion!

Always find exactly what u need and then some, everyone is super friendly and helpful, store is always in top shape.

I have just moved into this area not so long ago, and so far my experiences with Eric's staffs, though need somewhat improvement, is positive. I have helped whenever I needed.

I've always been a BIG fan of No Frills. Prices are generally great and in today's world every nickel counts.

The staff work hard (ish?). I've asked for an item search that's ended up with floor staff heading the back and NEVER coming back? This has happened twice.odd. Eric can usually be found busy on the floor building an end cap or a display somewhere.

Why only 3 stars?

Inventory - often out of items both sale items and often what I consider should be regular stock. A smaller store to begin with, the least HO can do is keep ole Eric's NF stocked up properly?

Produce - compounded by low stock, often the items that are stocked should be disposed of. A little more care & attention in the produce department pls?

Awesome deals. 88 sale, quick and friendly checkout. Large line up due to sale and the registers were quickly opened to assist more customers. Store is clean, fruit is always awesome!

Great place to shop, lots of great deals! And what makes it very special are the staff.very accommodating.

Small town supermarket with some good products. However, some of the items I needed was there (more international stuff).

You can save hundreds of dollars by shopping here as opposed to other grocery stores like safeway

Great place to shop! Store is clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and helpful. I'm able to find most of what I need here.

I was in NO FRILLS tonight. I'm now nicknaming this the COVID Store.
NO CLEANING - The cashiers switched in and out of the booth closest to the self checkouts. They had to move the sanitizer bottle hanging from the plexiglass 4 times, on the way in and out. You think they could use it to clean between customers.
NO COMPLIANCE - Two people were wandering around the store with their masks around there necks, no one said a word
NO STOCK - 2 of the 8 things I went to get were actually available. The shelves were messy and unfaced, but lots of staff standing around talking.
NO HELP - Two staff members saw me trying to find an item, and took off in the other direction.
I was happy the parking lot wasn't jammed, but after going shopping here, I now know why.
Who ever the manager on duty was tonight, must have been sleeping in the back, or should look for a new line of work. The only one that seemed to be doing her job, was the greeter who was friendly and was giving a squirt of sanitizer.
NO I WONT BE RETURNING ANYTIME SOON.
If senior, management is concerned about this post, they should review the video of this evening. Glad it's not my store.

It's not too crowded atleast when I go there. It's my go to when I want to grab some stuff real quick for the house.

No frills is just that. Friendly staff and decent prices but don't expect much else. Usually understaffed and somewhat disorganized but good selection.

Thank you Eric's No Frills in Chestermere for ensuring that customers wear masks and sanitize their hands before entering the store. I feel very safe shopping here. As covid numbers rise it is good to know there is somewhere that is doing it's part to keep the virus from spreading.

Terrible shelves were empty and a line up of 45 people on a Sunday at 3pm. Spend the extra 50 cents at Safeway at least you won't be standing in line for a half hour on your weekend.

I do most of my grocery shopping from there. It's a great place to get most of most of your groceries and to be in and out very fast. However, bigger stores do have more selection.

Great service!
My wife and I have been shopping here since it opened. We particularly want to give special credit to one worker there, Dawson. We have to say every time we have come across him, we feel he goes the extra mile in helping out, and bringing cheer to our day! Keep it up!

Something has changed at the store?
Today, September 17, there were cigarette butts at the entrance and garbage in the carts. The Produce section was disappointing. Some tomatoes in red mesh bags were rotten. While I was standing there, sadly, the produce lady simply piled new stock on top of the old tomatoes.
We had to go to Safeway for apples. Too sad.

Very clean store and reasonable pricing. Staff very personable and always able to get products! My favorite grocery store!

Need more staff on tills and wish they had the boxes still so we didn't have to pay for bags when we forget but cant complain about the prices or service.

Couldn't find a couple items Mervs store has. Bolthouse Berry Blast, I cant believe it's not Butter.
I dont like that these stores dont have bag holders to.open checkout bags.

Erics No Frills is a Great place for groceries, always has amszing prices but the best part about this No Frills is how Clean and Organized it is!

Understandably No Frills is meant to be; well, no frills, nothing glamorous, I have been to a lot of No Frills in Alberta and this one just stands out for its Cleanliness All the time!
