Great services. I like to go to Ernie’s to support local businesses. When I do comparison shop they end up being competitive.

I went in to buy shoes today. It eas mostly staff in the store. I spent half an hour crawling around, trying to find shoes in the right size/style for myself. Several staff walked by and even made eye contact; and not a single one offered to help. WHY HAVE ALL THOSE STAFF IF THEYRE NOT THERE TO ASSIST CUSTOMERS?

I have to say I have been very pleased with the service. I use my Trek as a commuter/after work fun and if an issue does arise or I have a question the guys in the bike shop have ALWAYS been able to help me. I really appreciate the help and MT bike knowledge. Thanks again guys for on the fly help!

We made an online purchase for a store pickup. When we picked up our item, we noticed the sticker price on the item was cheaper than the online price paid. I contacted the store we picked up from and sent an email to the online store. They were able to honor the lower price and refunded us with no issues. Excellent communication! Very happy with our service.

Found exactly what I have been looking for. In my size and on sale. Has every sport. I'd say one level below professional. They will get you to professional level.

It was a good experience. We were in looking at a bikes for my son, the sales person respect the needs of my son, and my budget. Was patient, and answered all our questions. The colour he wanted wasn’t in stock, had to be ordered in. Haven’t heard anything back yet, was told a week, and it’s been almost three now, will follow up in the coming days. Hopefully that doesn’t change how satisfied we are.

Just had my mountain bike tuned up for the 2023 season Matt and the guys at Ernie's got my bike in quickly and return it to me on time just as they promised

Their customer service is amazing and they shipped my new snowboard to Toronto for free! I was worried it might get scratched along the way but it was in great condition. Would definitely buy from Ernie’s again.

I was there just yesterday to look and try on snowboard boots. I ended up buying the whole set up. Thanks to Brittany! She was great I learned alot and she set my board up for me and everything. Thank you! I love everything.

So many people shopping that makes it hard for the employees to be there to help you all the time. So the loss of one star isn't for the service people it is the employee for not having enough people hired.

The staff has been great. Travis Maclean. Brandon Unruh, Tim Zimmer and Sean Wilson. They are my go to employees. They have knowledge experience and a great personality. The rest of the staff are good just don't know them personally.

Austin in the hockey department was excellent to deal with. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly as he fully outfitted both of my kids in hockey equipment.
Ernie's always has an excellent selection.

Everyone we dealt with in the store went above and beyond to make sure we left with what we went in for. Our son has an extremely difficult time finding skates that fit his feet well. The guys spent a ton of time trying on skates to find the perfect fit!

Great customer service with very knowledgable staff. By far the only place I would go in the area for any sporting goods, active equipment or clothing.

Best place to buy trail running shoes. Tried getting New Balance trail shoes in extra wide in Edmonton recently. Half a dozen places and nothing.

I asked some questions about the slow pitch USSSA bats. The staff was very knowledgeable. Then I purchased a pair of Oakleys. We were helped with friendly staff.

How do you spell "excellence in customer service"? The answer is Ernie’s Sports Experts. You get the benefit of big box store quantities but sales and service of a small locally owned outlet. My bikes are always looked after with prompt and precision service and made to feel like I’m the only customer in the store. -wow! Now that is service! We all really need to step up and support local business in these days of hardship.

I have never had bad service here. The prices may be a bit higher on things but the service is great and the staff seems knowledgeable.

We saw something about disc golf on the grande prairie page. Not knowing anything about it we went to Ernies and they helped us out with everything we needed to play and understand the game.

I've been using Ernies as my sports store (and happy to support local) for quite sometime and always impressed with the team and quality of the selection no matter what your in too.

I bought a mountain bike and accessories here in March 2020. The staff were very helpful and answered my questions. They even suggested the proper bike size for me. Ernie's is definitely a go-to place for anything related to mountain biking and outdoor adventure in general.

Ernie’s comes through again. It’s always a great experience at Ernie’s. Their knowledgeable staff is always helpful and it makes every purchase a joy.

There being a shortage of bikes on the market this year because of Covid, I purchased a bicycle elsewhere and brought it to Ernie’s to have it tuned. They told me it would be ready in approximately a week to a week and a half but it was only a week before I got a call that it was ready. When I took my bicycle out for a spin I was happy to feel a great improvement from my brand new bike purchase before and after tuneup. My son also took it for a ride and said, whoever did this tuneup was a professional. They sure know what they’re doing over there. So thumbs up or a Ernie’s, great job!

I went there to look for some Canadian products for camping, after talking to them learn that this is their first year running camping gear. They had a good selection of quality products, needed a smaller hiking backpack and a smaller 4 person tent. Great products and help.

Great service and help in finding a bike for our son. The store was fairly busy but the gentleman helping me took his time to explain things I needed help with.

Great sports store with the best selection of Oilers merchandise north of Edmonton. This store is so progressive and inclusive that they, for some unknown reason, carry worthless Flames merch as well. I can only imagine that they hold that stock, then mark it down 50%, to finally donate it to charity when the Flames start their golf season. That is inspiring enough for 5 stars.

Grande Prairie, Alberta has one of the handful of Flow-Riders/standing wave pools in Western Canada at its community multiplex. I was passing through GP on my way home and had no shorts with me and also happened to be passing through during the fall time. Ernie's took me to their off season inventory in the back of their store so that I could choose some shorts and be able to ride the epic flow-rider later that evening. They could've easily said no it's the wrong season for shorts but took the time to show me what they did have in stock. Thanks Ernie's I'll be back next time I'm passing through GP!

You can find better prices elsewhere and more selection. I have called Flaman in Edmonton and found out when they were bringing in the equipment I wanted and able to advance purchase. The typical answer at Ernie's is we don't know whats coming or when. Too bad, Kevin is a nice guy and always happy to help you, if and when he can.
