Emma, her family and staff are amazing! It always makes me feel better leaving our two boys there when we do go away without them. They go above and beyond as well, as one of our dogs needed some extra love and care when we left them the last time and Emma always kept in contact to let us know how he was doing!

Our dog, Ripley, really seems to enjoy her time at Escape to the Country. With other kennels, she's come home really stressed, but when we pick her up here she settles back into her routine perfectly. The Pup Bus adventures are a big draw, because she loves to run and explore. They communicate really well, and seeing pictures and videos of our pet's stay is really nice. I'm excited to see how the new facilities, including an indoor play area, turn out!

Great fun for the "Pups" and terrific service. Pick up and drop off at my door in Okotoks. My dog comes home happy and tired from his pup bus experience.

Great kennel for our two dogs. Good response on questions and concerns. Love the fact they have a pup bus for the dogs to go on field trips. The staff are really nice and they are well organized when dropping off and picking up.
We have tried a few kennels but never super happy with them so we are really happy we found Escape to the Country kennel, they are definitely our only go to kennel from now on.

Emma and her team took care of my cat, Watson, like he was one of their own. As he was a cat who had never been away from home his entire life, not to mention that he is diabetic and insulin-dependent, I was hesitant at first to board him anywhere. After meeting Emma and her team, I felt comfortable leaving him at Escape to the Country Cattery. Emma kept in touch when necessary and I was able to enjoy my first trip away from home in six years because of their great care and attention to my boy. I will definitely have them watch Watson again.

We have boarded our dogs here for close to 9 years. Have never had any issues and am very happy with the service we receive. Our pup comes back socialized.which he needs as he’s only 9 mths old…and very tired. We have also used the pickup and delivery service as we live in south Calgary …. Very convenient! We Emma!

Best best best place to board your dog or cat. They get so much attention, it's the cleanest spot around and the owners absolutely love what they do. Emma and her staff are incredible!

We have a hard time leaving our dog but we fully trust that she will be well cared for and have fun at Escape to the Country. When we drop her off she is so happy to leave us we know she is well looked after!

We always take our kitties to Escape to the Country when we go away. They have plenty of space, a cozy tower to climb and time out of the kennel to roam around. You can tell all of the staff are animal lovers and that your pet is well loved while you're gone.

Our One-year-old dog tuxedo had the time of his life! Every picture we saw showed him having a bar! Cola’s our almost 3 year old dog was a little hesitant but then opened up. As a Covid dog it was great for her to interact with other dogs big and small and I see a calmer and more confident dog. I would recommend escape to anybody.

Our dogs were well taken care of, and it was great to see the photos on social media of how much fun they were having during their stay.

I left my senior cat here for a little over a week and I am VERY pleased with the experience. I also love seeing pictures they share on their FB page. I will be using them again!

Our cat was there for a week and they really took good care of him. The accommodations are generous and not just a little kennel, with scratch post and some toys. We definitely will come again.

This is the 3rd time this year my collie has been at Escape To The Country. This dog Kennel is great, my dog loves being there with his friends and the staff. Today my plane was late arriving back and Escape to the Country were very accommodating with my late arrival.

Flex had a good stay. He had not been at the kennel for a few years but came home happy and a little excited.

First visit for our pups. Both seemed quite happy when we saw the pictures posted as well as when we picked them up. Happy pups and parents. So glad we booked them for the day and know they will be in great hands when we vacations.

We had a great experience with Escape to the Country. Our 16 month pup had a 7 night stay over Easter and upon picking him up it was clearly evident he had a good time of it. Nothing tells the story better than the dog that stayed. He looked and felt as good as he did when we took him in and if your familiar with kennels, that's not always going to be the case.

Kelly and Emma gave us considerable time showing us around and answering questions both before and after his stay. Most of our questions before booking were derived from 2 previous horrific kennel experiences - and the ones after his stay were for feedback on our dog's behaviour. He's a catahoula, considered independent, high energy, and at 16 months old, if he's "that dog" when we're not around - we want to know so we can address it.

This kennel has a common sense/naturalized approach to their business and dogs. They don't nickle and dime, they keep it simple, and I believe we can count on honest feedback. We can trust that they fed our dog the food we provided because he didn't come back covered in alergy scabs and sores! (re: previous experiences)

We feel so good about this experience we decided - availability notwithstanding - we'll take him by there for 2-3 nighters periodically just to keep it all familiar. Thank you Escape to the Country for providing this service!

If you’re looking for a friendly, comfortable, turn-key type of experience for boarding your animal, Emma and Escape to the Country is the place! We have brought our farm dog here multiple times, and he feels right at home in the acreage setting. Emma is always thorough with how the visit went, is helpful with suggestions, and has been very accommodating over the years. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

Our dog has been going to Escape to the Country for 4 years. It's the best kennel experience we have had in our years of dog ownership. The shared play areas create a much more enriched experience for our dog. The facility is very well run and have processes to ensure a less stressful experience for the dogs. Emma posts videos of the dogs in her care on Facebook and it's great to see our dog playing and having fun. Emma and her team have done a great job and we feel confident that our dog is well cared for while we are away.

I dropped my dog off yesterday for a trail, I was very apprehensive as I’ve never left him other than with family.
We were well received by Emma he didn’t hesitate to go with her.
When I picked him up at 5 PM he ran to meet me and then ran back to Emma! Say no more I think he had a blast, he slept most of the evening. I booked him in again while we are away, feeling much more confident leaving him

Each day I am away I can view a picture of my girl. She is happy to go. Well cared for. Large play area for the dogs. Owner is friendly and loves animals.

Best that you can ask for. We’re so happy we found this place for our Covid pup. She comes home tired and happy. Heated indoor kennel area (air conditioned in the summer) with large outdoor play area. Easy online booking and regular public Facebook posts so you can see your dog having the time of their life. Worth the drive.

This was our first experience using a doggie daycare and not sure what to expect. We found Emma and her staff very friendly and so helpful and at the end of the day we had a happy but tired puppy. We will definitely be using them again on a regular basis.

Emma and Maxine are amazing we take our dogs (and hamster) here for all our travel, in all seasons and know our pets are safe and loved with lots of exercise during their stay. Highly recommend. Forget how we found them but so thankful we did

I have used Escape to the Country several times to look after our dog, daycare as well as overnight stays. I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention our pup gets. Emma makes sure he gets just the right balance of free play/turnout time as well as quiet time. Your pet will love the visit!

Emma is running the best kennel in the area and definitely worth the drive out of Calgary. I have had dogs my whole life and have never had a kennel experience like hers. I can go away, have peace of mind and know I will come back to pick up my dogs and they will be clean, happy and tired from all the running around they get to do. Also, Emma is so truly interested in the dogs she even texted me weeks after my pup stayed to see how a surgery with him went. You have done an exceptional job setting up a great kennel, Thank you!

If you want peace of mind for your four legged family member Escape to the Country will exceed expectations. Professional and caring they kept our 13 year old Pyper happy and content for almost three weeks. She was well exercised and medications were no problem. Emma and her team are definitely in the right business.

This was the first time I've used this kennel and LOVED IT! The minute I drove up I could tell I made a good choice. The dogs had very good night sleep from all the activities they did at daycare. Loved it so much that they are going back for a mini vacation next weekend. Thanks to all the staff at Escape to the Country Kennels.

We dropped off our baby girl Ellie, and we trust Emma and team 100% When we go to leave we feel confident in the care she will receive that we have no worries. Ellie just is totally comfortable walking away with Emma, and does not even look back at us. We will not hesitate to take Ellie to Emma and team again! Thank-you for carrying for our baby!

We have two Chesapeake's that enjoy going out to see Emma, Tony and the Escape team. Seeing daily videos of all the dogs running and playing with an awesome outside run. Very professionally operated!

Tucker went to Escape To The Country Kennels over Christmas for the first time. It is a very well organized kennel and all the pets are so well cared for. Tucker loved his stay there and made a bunch of new friends. He whimpered when we left and I am sure he will find it very boring at home for awhile. I would highly recommend this kennel to any fur baby. I am just hoping there is room next time we are out of town. Thank you again. We took our older dog, Bear, who has not been kennelled very often and our outside cat, Bagheera, who has never been kennelled, to Escape to the Country where they were to be left for over three weeks. All of us were very apprehensive. However, when we arrived, the first thing we notice was the beautiful outside yard and the cleanliness of the entire place. Emma was amazing and we were able to leave our pets with confidence knowing they would be well cared for. When we arrived to pick them up, they had obviously enjoyed themselves and been treated extremely well. We will definitely be using their services again soon and will be highly recommending them.

Great first experience with Escape to the Country Kennel. Everything was well organized for the drop off and pick up. Emma is very friendly and easy to talk to. I was obviously a little nervous leave my boy for the first time, but when I got there to pick him up I had to coax him to leave, he obviously had a great time socializing with the other dogs. This location is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Our 6 month old puppy had a great time and was very clean and happy when we picked him up:) The owners are also VERY accommodating. Highly Recommend!

Wow! We wanted to find a safe and comfortable place for our two loved ones (age 3 & 4, dogs of course:) ). We read up on all the places in and around Calgary and chose Escape to the Country because the reviews were great and we wanted more of a resort style place for our little ones. Emma is the owner and her place is gorgeous. It is super clear, when you pull into the driveway, that this place is very professionally run. Our dogs had a great time. We'll definitely be going back.

This was the first time ever leaving my dogs with anyone. I picked this place because of the reviews and it did not disappoint. From the moment I filled out the contact form, I felt like I was in good hands. Emma answered all my questions and when I dropped off the dogs, I felt a huge sense of relief that she had clearly remembered what I had written about my dogs and their idiosyncrasies. It was a great surprise to find the video and photos of the dogs that she had posted on the company Facebook page. My one dog who doesn't usually play a lot was featured running and playing! The dogs actually looked like they didn't want to leave when we picked them up. And we picked up fresh eggs from Emma's hens before leaving. They were delicious. Everything is so well organized:) will bring the dogs again!

First experience with a boarding facility and it is was everything you could ask for. On top of the exceptional care of our puppy, they are very well organized and their online bookings and information are well thought out, thorough and user friendly. Our pup came home healthy and happy and you could absolutely see that he had a blast! But you did not have to assume.they corresponded with us by email when we were feeling a bit anxious and the pictures they post showed the pup romping and playing with the big boys! We will be bringing him back in the near future.

After booking a last minute vacation, we knew we had to get both our dog and cat boarded on short notice. Emma and Escape To The Country were more than happy to accommodate and we're so glad that they did!
Our puppy came home played out and our cat was treated like the princess that we know she is. Staff was beyond friendly and even while we were away, it was nice to see photos of our fur-kids posted regularly. So glad that we found them since previous resorts didn't give nearly enough outdoor time for our energetic pup. He'll be happy to go back to his new home away from home! Thank you, Emma and staff!
