ESSO 7-Eleven 37778

Airserve machine was broken and it deflated my tires to the point that it was visually almost flat (from 30psi which was already too low, to 20, photos included). I talked to the guy at the counter telling him that my vehicle is probably no longer safe to drive, the machine is broken and there are no signs for people to know it is broken. He dismissed me as being the only person who had a problem, he is not responsible for it, and I should move my car! He did not check the machine to confirm or resolve my issue, offer me any help, or even offer to give a refund for the measly $2 fee even for a nice gesture. I asked him to at least put up a sign or turn off the broken machine so no one else ends up in my situation.
The exchange between us was calm, with a noticable frustration from my side.
Two hours later, there are no signs, the machine is still accepting payments and undoubtably still broken. (Photos included)
+ I have called Airserve’s customer service line, however I don’t know what would or could they do
+ I took my car, driving super slowly (<20km/h) to a Petro Canada nearby, fortunately there were no issues otherwise I would had to call roadside assistance since the esso 7eleven staff were absolutely of zero help, and I only have one spare tire for two deflated wheels. While its -31 with a windchill of -37 outside. Unbelievable.

Gas is gas. I like this place because of its location on Mcleod. On 12th ave. There is a Tim Hortons inside which means it can get cramped. Outrageously priced (all Esso"s) car wash on site. Lots of street people gather here for High tea and Unhappy hour is from 4 am to 3: 59 am so bring lots of spare change. There's an ATM with a top end of $400 and transaction fee of three dollars. (when and why did we start accepting that clear and present greed?) Everyone is friendly.

I go here at 28 of June around 7 am and I want to go to washroom very bad, I came for an interview from 300 kms away from Calgary but they said we don't have any washroom. If management see that please take action the staff. Where people go for washroom?

An employee was cleaning the washroom and cashier opened the door for me and just smiled in result of his blunder. Garbage customer service. Took me 3 rounds from pump to cashier to get gas. Gurpreet gallan changia ni eh, ghto ghat apne loka nu ta vdia serve krlo. Wish that I could talk to manager or someone but was in hurry coz I travelled 300kms from Edmonton and was with family.

This is not a store review but a review on employees. Don’t get ignorant and ashamed of your job bro when a Punjabi customer walks in. Be respectful for all and your job that feeds you.

Came one day needing a washroom. They don’t have one.

Bought a car wash the other day when getting gas. Came here today to use it and it’s out of order.

I went in another time looking for a specific soft drink and this location doesn’t carry it.

Basically it’s the sum of petty things that make the experience here less than desired here.

Oh well.

This gas station unprofessional staff, and they have much attitude, no public washroom. They have washroom, but they didn’t allow to used to anyone. Even if you asked to supervisor they did not call them.

Dirty gas station with lots of homeless and vagrants harassing customers.the car wash behind the station is a giant homeless camp and the owners dont do anything about it.avoid this esso at all costs

update: decided to see if anything has improved and its actually gotten worse.got aggressively harassed again trying to get gas.

I don’t even have a car but I saw Huberdeau get gas with his Maserati here, 10/10 experience, would go again

I am uber driver i always purchasing gas this location. Today I asked to use washroom they refused to give key. They have good excuse to its only for staff not for customers.

Such a rude cashier, his name plate says his name Yashesh. You guys should teach your people customer service.

I am uber driver. Me and my friends fill the gas everyday at this pump and use washroom everyday. Today at 11: 55pm, there was a boy name diversh and one other guy with hat who was using his headphones and talking with someone he did not allow me to use the bathroom. From today we are not going to fill gas anymore. They need to change their night staff so many people suffering from this problem.

In the corner on 12 Ave and MacLeod, good products and great carwash. Has a 7 eleven store so useful.

They didn't have hot dogs. All's I wanted was a hot dog. But they didn't care. They get paid by the hour with or without the hot dog.

***Spoiler alert*** I didn't get my hot dog. And this joint is $2 poorer.

If I find out that they're running a gas scam or any tax evasion. I will report to all possible official avenue. Rude staff.

It's a gas station with a convenience store and a car wash. It's no better or worse than thousands of others.

My review is for the Speedpass app. It works very well. Pull up to a pump, open the app, enter the pump number, and away you go. You can add a car wash if you want. When you're done, it generates your receipt (and car wash code if you've added a wash). It linked to and remembers my PC Optimum account just fine. It has always worked without any glitches for me. It's very welcome when it's -30 outside.

Attendant wasn't paying attention even after I entered the store, took him 2 mins to realize he has customers.
Parking lot is always filled up with homeless people.

Just on the way out of Downton Calgary. Convenient touchless car wash that works well and was very popular.but only occassionally a short wait.

The store itself is fine run of the mill gas station. For the most part the staff are helpful and friendly enough but the new security they have it's way way way too aggressive i think form now on ill go somewhere else

The Filipino girl at the counter was rude as hell. Also, I did not understand what she said because of her weird accent. I asked her to repeat what she said but she got angry. I wouldn't employ that kind of person who disrespects customers. Would never come back.

It was clean, the pumps were in good shape and there was clean water/washer fluid to clean the windows.

Clean, convenient to Downtown and McLeod Trail Southbound, carwash, air, vacume, and good variety of products in the store

This is literally the worst gas station/convenience store I’ve ever been in for plenty of reasons.
One day I was there waiting to buy a pair of headphones behind a man who asked to use the washroom. Then the man working the counter started screaming at him, cussing at him and told him to leave the store. I don’t care if he’s not allowed to give people the washroom key, but what I do know is you’re not allowed to cuss at your customers.
Just today I came back because I was craving a donut. I went to the corner of the store to grab some, but when I opened the display case a bunch of bugs flew out. I very clearly said “this is disgusting” and the workers just chose to ignore it.
If you’re looking for a clean place with good customer service, go somewhere else.
