Thought I lost my wallet when I was there when I called back they were very good sent me videos of me coming into the store and leaving the store which was very helpful

It's a bit sketchy at dusk and dawn. Seems to attract a lot of homeless people and people who look a bit troubled. I only go here during full daylight.

Shelves with wrong prices and incompetent staff who not only do not have the most basic language skills but also lack the knowledge to use their equipment. This is not an overstatement.

After 18 years (second star is for 18 years), it went from my favorite gas station to I am in searching for a new one. Let start, crowded inside, almost claustrophobic, from paying for car wash at the pump, to canceling even the coin box inside the car wash bay, so you have to go inside to pay (in time of Corona 19, VERY smart) and the GST is extra now. Good Bye.

Grabbed a coke marked at 99c that turned out to be 1.56. That's a 56% difference in price; you know, those places that use price bait. Cashier calls manager (the guy running the Tim's inside) who scans the can and exclaims: -Oh yes, is 1.56; looks like went up. (no sh*t Sherlock) I asked the cashier, ok, cancel it, I'll go and get a tea instead. He asked what size and charged me for the coke agaaaaaain!
You don't need a PhD to work as cashier buy may be, possibly may be the basics of communication would be helpful.

But overall worst experience

When this was Sandstone Esso, the place was a decent neighborhood gas bar and car wash. Now that 7-11 got involved the service has gone downhill. From surly staff to constantly out-of-service washbays, it's hard to shop here anymore.

Had two car wash coupons that expired today. I came in around noon to redeem them and give my car a rinse and was told they expired at 8: 18 this morning so I would have to buy new ones, they wouldn't reprint the codes. Simply ridiculous considering the expiry date on them only includes a date and not a time.

Some customer service, I won't be returning to this location. Losing a customer over $4 and a technicality.

Really stupid changes to the way you pay for car wash. You used to put coins in and now you stand in line to buy a wash code with everybody else, waiting for them to pay for their gas, cigarettes, lottery tickets etc. Need more time on the rinse? Go stand in line again. Now I need to find a new car wash. What were they thinking?

It was -27 Celsius degree 8: 30pm and the car battery decided to die right after pumping gas. Thought it would a great idea to jump start the car but no, this tall man (assuming he’s the manager) who works in the Esso gas station furiously yelled at me to not do so and move the car somewhere else to do it. Like sure, no problem but the car couldn’t start which I can’t move it. I asked him politely if he could help me because I’m not a car expert and don’t know what to do! He replied to me in a rude tone of voice “I’m a 61 year old man, with back pain and heart problems. ” Well, that’s not helpful and he could’ve rejected me in a nicer way. I’m sorry that your body is not making you feel good but I don’t think anyone deserves that kind of attitude. He was very unprofessional and disrespectful. The job is to bring service to the customer with kindness and respect. In my opinion, I don’t think this role is right for him whether he’s the manager or not. But I do appreciate the cashier guy for coming out to help push the car to the car wash area.

Sat in line for three cars to wash my car. Got in there, tried to put my money in, nothing. Then I see I now need a code. I had to walk thru four bays, get into the store and there was a lineup to the back water/pop coolers. Turned around and left. No signs, nothing to tell you of the change. Why not install a credit card reader like so many others. What a pain. Won't be going back. This is the second issue with this station since 7-11 took over. Lots of other places in Calgary.
