Eternal Beauty Institute

EB is a lovely facility. The front desk lady was very kind and helpful. The building is clean and the staff is very professional.

Recently I had a lovely facial with a student. She was lovely, and her instructor was equally lovely. The facial was relaxing and my skin felt snd looked so fresh and hydrated afterward. The instructor was knowledgeable and gently guided her student to use the correct procedures throughout the service. I have referred both of my daughters to have facial services with Maddie the student, and Michelle the instructor.

I was a model for fine line tattooing and the facilities were not only stunning but so clean! Isabel did great tattooing me under the guidance of Deb! Great instruction and guidance by her as well

A few issues with this "institute":

1. When you have any issues with the way the school is operated (or start to ask general questions about the portal because this should NOT equate to 75% of a total hands-on course load) once you're a student and want to make any changes in your contractual agreement, this business owner will try to convince their students that they have no autonomy in any decisions made in the contract moving forward (even if it has only been a few hours after initially signing a contract).

2. This institution has repeatedly put themself on the same level as MRU and UofC in their policies but don't actually adhere to any of the same policies those universities practice that won't benefit them financially (e.g. Withdrawal/cancellation policies!?) This business owner has tried to cover this up.

3. This institution allows NEW graduates to teach courses and this business owner is not forthcoming about mentor's education levels to their students. HUGE health concern here.

4. Students pay COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PRICES for the same material/education usually delivered in a group setting (I highly encourage student to compare prices with fellow classmates- it is their right to do so) but advertise classes as being "personalized". Business owner heavily enforces silence between students on this issue.

5. Business owner is paying for fake reviews (they have also tried to cover this up but people have noticed and commented on it). This business owner is deleting (?) negative reviews people have left on their website profiles. People are not being fully informed about other students' experiences as a result of this EXTREME CENSORSHIP and are therefore being tricked into contracts.

To close, major changes need to be made at The Eternal Beauty Institute if they are going to continue advertising being the "5 star business" they have been. Far too many hopeful students (and models) have been taken advantage of financially by this business, and this business owner is taking absolutely no accountability on this matter. Responses to negative student, model, and MENTOR experiences are being replied to with gaslighting language and behaviour.

This business and owner needs to be monitored by the authorities for fraudulent behaviour/activity- the more people speak up the faster this will happen! Your voice is far more powerful than this business owner would like its students and clients to believe- use it.

BUSINESS OWNER CLEARLY THINKS SHE IS EXEMPT FROM ALBERTA CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS! DO NOT GIVE THIS OWNER YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!

Went to see Rebeka for a hydro facial and OMG SO SO HAPPY! She’s amazing and one of the sweetest people you’ll ever chat with. Can’t wait to see her again soon.

I had an amazing derma-planing today! It was relaxing and professional experience! I highly recommend this procedure and can’t wait to try more services!

Moved to Calgary 2 years ago and got my eyebrows powder ombré today by Angelica and she was amazing. From the moment you walked in all the front desk staff was so nice and made me feel so welcomed. The waiting area is so beautiful and was offered tea or coffee while waiting.
Had one of the best services Angelica was such a sweetheart and made sure I was explained what she was doing each step of the way and made sure I had minimal discomfort. Cannot wait to be back XOXO -Mily

I myself am a student at eternal beauty for the full laser program. I have had nothing but the best experience here at this beauty school! The teachers are Soo informative and take the time to make sure that you understand the theory. I had a great experience taking the tiny tattoo course with Debra Dedyluk as my instructor. She made sure I understood everything throughly and walked me through all my tattoos to ensure sanitization and the safety of my models and myself. I had a lot of one on one hands on practice with her. The school is a great welcoming place and I definitely look forward to taking more courses with them in the future. Out of all beauty schools I’ve been to in Calgary I wish I would’ve started my education in the beauty industry with them. This school is definitely the best of the best and the teachers are amazing! The school is clean and beautiful definitely recommend going here, this school makes you look forward to your next class and wanting to go to school. Thank you again Debra you are the best. I will definitely miss being your student and Monday classes with you.

Amazing experience! All boxes checked from the friendly receptionist, easy checkup and very clean and nice space. Students are professional and the Instructors are knowledgeable and helpful!

Met the owner Barb through a mutual friend and asked her if I could work in her studio as a lash extension technician. She was so friendly and accommodating and helped me get settled right in with working with Eternal Beauty and always willing to help. Stacey and Lawna are amazing receptionists and are so nice! I love working here and I always like trying to be a model for students who are training. The instructors are so good and professional!

When i walk into Enternal Beauty Institute I felt like, the Queen has arrived! The entrance front desk area is so beautiful, the chandeliers, the georgous furniture, everything is all shinny and blinged out! The staff are awesome and very friendly and welcoming to me. If there was a -5 star I would give it. I took a makeup artist course.the instructor was showing up only 2 hours on the weekend while they said it's 44 hours per course and I took the 2 levels So I only spent 8 hours total She just sit there and watch you while she should work on the model too and teach techniques. Now I'm just stuck with a loan on my shoulder with no knowledge.the materials was so cheap I had to bring my own makeup. Please don't fall for this scam school.don't fall for the fancy decoration.cheap materials everywhere

I took a Skin and Laser Course
at Eternal Beauty Institute. Wonderful team and staff. I love the feel of the Institute and it's beautiful and bright. Stacey at the front desk is super cute and lovely.

From my experience they were very disorganized and unprepared.i believe they need to put more money/ effort into the education and actually buy the supplies required to learn/ fix all their broken equipment. After paying thousands of dollars they should have provided brushes for nail tech program, makeup that isn’t ancient, used and unsanitary for makeup course.also had to share ONE makeup sponge between the 4 models that we (the students) brought in.tried to rebook refresher training multiple times with no follow ups. “starter kits” are made of low quality supplies. I had to ask for and wait for products to be ordered after i had completed my courses.

Beautiful location, professional, caring staff, with so many treatments and services to choose from.

I went for microblading with Sarah. She did a fantastic job! Sarahwas kind, professional and made sure to check that I was comfortable throughout the procedure.

I’ve been going to Mackenzie Gotte for a few months and she is an amazing technician! Shes an educator too so she really knows her stuff.

Very disorganized. Booked hair appointment online for last week, paid some deposit, came in last Friday just to be told that they aren’t open yet and will call me, they did not. Had to call again, came in early this week to actually book again. Came today AGAIN. I had to pay TRIPLE the price they showed online, because apparently the hair salon is not eternal beauty? But like why was I able to book online then? Front desk lady told me their boss would call me. I really doubt that they would tho.

Save yourself a few thousand dollars and order all the supplies off Amazon (as they do! Nothing but the cheapest!) and take an online course instead.its waste of money to take one of this schools programs.update on my reply.bronze tan spray tan machine 200 dollars on Amazon and belloccio spray tent 100 dollars on Amazon. LOL 600 dollars worth of equipment what a joke.

I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to the entire team. Stacey the girl at the front is so friendly and took time to show me everything. She also found me models for my class. Neil was so encouraging into allowing me to find the courage to follow my dreams! The classes so far have exceeded my expectations!

I recently received botox and filler with the nurse here Stephanie,
she was absolutely super sweet. The results are amazing. What I have to say that just impressed me so much - they didn't over sell me on the products I needed. Stephanie told me lets try for natural first and build a look that looks like you only enhanced. I spent 1/2 what I normally do for my injections and I look amazing. Thank you Stephanie! I am truly grateful for your approach!

Honestly thought that the school experience would have been much better, seeing so many 5 star reviews. I took the botox, filler, and PRP microneedling course there in April and felt like it was not a very organized school. I felt like I had many questions about what specifically we would be covering in the course and both the portal/website had next to nothing for information. When taking the courses I felt like I did not have proper teaching and lacked very much on the hands on skill portion as well. I was only able to practice each skill on 3-5 people which in my opinion is no where near enough! It was tough setting up people to come to get work on considering no one would properly tell me what exact skills we would be covering. This caused lots of frustration on the clients end and makes me look bad in the business field. I also felt like the teachers did not have the time or the patience to be there teaching me and it felt very very rushed through everything. The worst part of this experiencing was not even being provided proper learning materials ie: proper working power point, no textbook or handouts. The except the student to do the learning online but there was next to nothing available.

Its now a few months later (I really needed to process my experience) and I no longer can access the videos or learning content on the website which in my opinion I paid for! I am disappointed that I spent as much money as a did for a course that was offered in such a poor way.

Lesson learned: go to the school you hear about most

Anyone else noticing how these reviews are all the same, have things like “haircut” in them, and they don’t offer this service at this school. Stop paying bots and people from the states to leave you fake reviews! The reviews on FB are fake too!
I came here for a model service for brows and this place was a mess. The brows I received were absolutely horrible, the instructor seemed to be running round with no leadership and the students seemed really really unsure of what they were doing. When I asked her how long she has trained, she said they started that morning and had been In class for one hour. So what you’re telling me, Is you instruct and let people practice with ONE hours instruction tattooing my FACE!? !?
I had to go to a calgary laser appointment to get them to look at how terribly bad this turned out. Sitting for a model, sure, you get what you get. This place is a joke.

I absolutely love this school. I'm a student about to graduate and I have never felt more prepared in my life. I have all the tools I need for success. I made a great decision picking this school because the teachers are modern experienced patient and fun. All the students get along and we all work in harmony. I recommend.

I took my facial and chemical peel course. That was short term, but I am still getting support and help from my instructor Shauna. She is always one msg away. Whenever, I need help, she replies me back with a solution. I highly recommend to get your course done from Eernal beauty!

Barb and her staff are unlike anything I have witnessed. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted and treated with respect. The building has AMAZING energy and the staff, other students just glow from the positive energy. Not to mention, the school is HUGE and a DREAM to learn in. It is luxurious and is filled with the latest technology. I love everything I learned while I went to school there a few months back for the skincare specialist program. I now feel confident starting my own side business and am happy that I am able to continue to come back as much as I want to keep learning at no additional cost.

I recently went to Angelica for a Picosure treatment to remove/fade my tattoo that had not turned out how I liked. She was super friendly, answered every single question I had, kept checking to see if I was okay during the treatment, and went over the aftercare steps with me. She also responds very fast, whenever I'd message her with a question regarding the appointment beforehand, as well as after, she got back right away. Can't wait for my next appointment. I highly recommend her!

I took the skincare program last year and I was given student manuals that came from China and OTHER cosmetic schools. The documents on the portals are poorly written, images that are stolen from other peoples work.
The institute is beautiful on the outside but the quality of teaching isn't there. 7 days to learn, dermaplaning, microneedling, etc isn't enough. I've tried calling/emailing so I can retake but to no avail. The owner
looks like she cares more about what shes going to wear everyday than the quality of her institute. Their facebook and insta has more fake followers than real followers and like. Their reviews are mostly from fake accounts.
This institute is nothing but a scam.run away!

I want to start by mentioning how spacious and clean the institute was. The staff was was very warm welcoming. The receptionist Shawna was very professional and thorough about what needs filled on the medical history and walked through the procedure of BB glow. Procedure was performed by a student who explained each and every procedure she was going to perform. The instructor was also very professional and made sure no foul practice was performed. Overall the experience was legendary.

Recently took the skin specialist program at eternal beauty institute and honestly ive learned a lot of tips and tricks in 6 days. My instructors were really good at guiding us the whole time.the marketing side of the course was also a bonus as they teach you how to start your business, how to be successful and how to get started on instagram.thank you
