My late father used their services when they were in WEM. I continue to as well. Extremely knowledgeable and as watch maker/repair Walter is the real deal.
Great service for my omega sea master circa 2001. This followed a disappointing experience with swatch in Toronto who charged 40 percent more for a service that failed to resolve the issue with the watch/losing time. (Old school self winding) At the same time he fitted a battery into a Porsche Design watch at a 5th of the cost the bay charged me.
Needed a watch strap removed and a new one put on, and the gentleman was extremely helpful. It was my 2nd time using their services and I will use them again.
Best watch servicing store in Edmonton, very professional, knowledgeable, and kind people. I refer all of my friends and family here and they’re always just as happy with the service as I am. Never had a bad experience and I’ve been here many times
Ii have had 2 Rolex watches serviced here in the past couple of months. Always very knowledgeable, professional and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!
Great service, Walter is very nice and knowledgeable. Great customer service/communication aswell as service fees.highly recommend to bring your watch here for service and or repair especially if you have a high end watch such as a Rolex as you will save a lot of money. Very Professional service.
Thank you so much Walter for put away the watch on hold for me. Especially my friend was looking for the Seiko spb297 watch for a long time. Walter carried so many different models of seiko watches and so many other brand of watches. The service is incredible from now on if I'm going to buy another watch, I definitely will go to your Europa Watch! Thank you so much again!
I dropped by to get myself a belated Christmas gift and my experience of the store owner was great. He took the time t let me browse through the watches I was interested, dealt kindly with multiple customers at the same time without haste and rush. After about 45 minutes I walk out, not only with a new watch (Seiko 5 Sports) but clear that I would bring all my watches for service or repairs to this "lovely guy's from now on. Thank You!
Walter is a true old school watchmaker. Provided precise information about the cost of a specific watch crystal replacement. He works on high end luxury watches, so you can trust him with anything you got.
Display area and service area well set up. Friendly and competent staff. Previously had a service done on an 1880 vintage click. Returned same click after 12 years for a service.
I asked him to put a watch band on that I ordered online with an older style watch. The band was for another watch and he managed to make it work. Excellent work!
No place else that I trust! He knows what he's doing I've taken my rolex and multiple other watches there, takes his time and the watch always comes back detailed
Watch bracelet needed to be increased in size so I took the watch at the WEM. Four months later, they call me to say my wife's watch interior has been cleaned and it will be 85$. WHAT, never asked for that, what about the bracelet. NO, it has not been done, he will call you back.no calls! I have since left 2 messages and no call back. I bought my wife a beautiful Citizen "elsewhere". Never going back.
Fantastic service. I dropped off a few watches for service and they were all ready at the time promised. Daniel is always professional and the care taken with the clients property is evident. Highly recommended!
This place (both here and at their WEM storefront) has been my go to place for watch service and repairs for many years. They provide a high level of service that is among the best in the City. That level quality though does come at the expense of speed at times, especially if the watch is very old or is a rare make/model. With that said, their prices are very reasonable for the workmanship they provide.
Aside from their servicing, they also sell used watches and they often have gems that are often overlooked. Any used watch purchased is serviced to ensure top functionality again showing their commitment to providing top tier customer service. If you're looking for a place to service your watch, look no further.
Wonderful little watch store. My new place to take my watches for service. I love places like this that support family's in business. Reasonable prices and great service. My watches were fixed quickly and with pride and care.
Blown away by the quality of service here. Had a few watches serviced here, and most recently had a cyclops removed from one of my dive watches. Turned out the task was not as easy as Dan or I thought in the beginning. He ended up removing it after a week or so of fiddling with it, and delivered it to my house as it was a bit of trek to West Edmonton for me. Very grateful considering the low cost of the job in the first place. You have a customer for life Dan, thank you!
So happy with my experience with Europa watch & Jewellery. I had a nice Automatic Tissot watch that I owned for a while. I guess somehow the watch got a loose screw inside the case that you can visually see through the back of the watch. The owner explained the problem to me and reasonably priced the required repair. I got my watch back within a week and it works perfectly since then. I highly recommend them for watch repairs.
Europa Watch & Jewellery has serviced 4 of my favorite watches over the last 5 years; each watch continues to function perfectly well.
I characterize Walter, Ania, and Daniel as courteous and professional individuals: one can easily tell they love and treasure what they do. I've never been disappointed with either little or major repairs they've done on my less expensive watches. Wonderful people!
I have been using Europa for watch battery replacement, for many years. I recently purchased a "Victorinox Professional Diver" watch from them and I'm extremel;y happy with it. The knowledge and service provided by the staff members of Europa is exceptional - and the prices are very competitive.
Great knowledge, selection and personable. Able to direct me to other vendors If need be (interested in your satisfaction, not necessarily $’s) and very, very aware of models and a broad spectrum of price points.
Got straps for two watches and batteries for 6. They ordered me a link for my 10 year old Movado and it was a perfect match. The service was so good I ended up buying a Seiko Turtle from them. Probably the best Seiko product offering that I have seen in the city. Highly recommend going there.
Europa Watch provides impeccable service. From repairs to sales and battery replacement. They have serviced 5 different brands of watches for me. Top of the line Tissot to Diesel and Fossil. Never had a single issue. I go there for all my watch problems.
These folks are great! I got them to change my SKX's bezel, insert, hands, and sapphire glass. The quality of work was great, I am thrilled with the results. They also polish watches; I got a scratched-up watch looking "mirror finish" brand new after getting it polished from them.
More than happy with this friendly local business:)
The guys working here are super honest, know a lot about watches, and always get things done on time. The pricing is more than fair. They've never let me down.
Called Daniel about some parts for my Invicta Sub Aqua and a battery for my GEVRIL Moonphase. I brought both watches in and within an hour he found exactly what I needed for the Invicta (was a pretty obscure part to) and had the battery I needed as well, changed them out and I was on my way! Very nice variety of Sieko, Tissot and other brands. Highly recommend and I wouldn’t be surprised one day I return for a Sieko dive watch. Thanks Daniel!
Had a very special Waltham watch from 1915, which was inherited to me. It didn’t work properly. I took it to Europa Watch and even though it took a long time to get it fixed due to the rarity of the parts, they called me every month to keep me updated. They finally got it back to me. Being the finicky watches that Walthams are, specially one that is over 100 years old, it broke again, took it back to the shop and it was covered under their awesome 1 year warranty. I highly recommend this place
Phenomenal service, always friendly and answered any and all questions I had. Took minutes to exchange a band that was too big (two different times) and always an enjoyable experience.
I have gone in to this location multiple times and have left satisfied everytime. From good conversation to watch maintenance and sales, I definitely recommend giving this family owned business a chance. I went in today to exchange a band because I have fairly small wrists and was unable to wear the specific band. The son swapped the band out for me in about 15 minutes and conversed with me throughout the process. I will definitely be coming back for any repairs, maintenance, or my next watch purchase.
After months of searching for a master watchmaker and retailer in Edmonton, I was lucky to find the father son watch shop Europa, located in West Edmonton Mall.
Impeccable service and dedication to customer satisfaction. My specific needs and taste were met and honestly, they went above and beyond!
Came here to get my watch battery replaced. I could have sent my watch back to the manufacturer for a 4 week turnaround but Europa can get the job done in about 40 minutes. Excellent service and old school attention to detail. Over 30 years in business at that location so that's a bonus too.
Visited on a Saturday about an hour before their closing time. I have to say this little place is busy. While I was in line I noticed that a lot of their clientele are repeat customers. They have a lot of inventory, and were very helpful. I brought in a watch to have the battery changed. Since this location is in the mall I was concerned it would be very expensive. I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable it was. He was also able to do it before their closing time.
Awesome people & Great service. Fixed five watches for me. Put a new crystal on a Luminox Swiss watch. Changed a battery on a Invicta that I had to send across Canada to do before. Fixed a Bulova & sized another Bulova! Pleasure to deal with & will definitely recommend and return to for all my watch needs! Able to deal with anything from the highest end cartier watches, Rolex’s to your everyday watch. Thx again!
Very careless and unprofessional watchmaker! Perhaps only good for changing batteries or so! Plz don’t send high end automatic watches like Rolex Omega or Breitlings for service. He charged me $310 and took two months to service my Basic ETA movement watch and left so much dust inside and upon returning back to him, he kept my watch for few days and returned it back without even looking at it. There is a learning curve for the readers from my experience! Thanks for reading the post.
TLDR: Exactly as you expect in West Edmonton Mall - mediocre and expensive.
I had a local watchmaker for years (Hess) and he was amazing, and taught me a lot (for free!) so I work on my watches as much as possible but sometimes I need a professional.unfortunately he retired and recommended me here for when I need some help. I'm not sure why, as their work is mediocre and exactly priced per West Ed Mall (expensive!). Europa has tried to charge me $15-20 per "rare" battery (standard 377 or something like that) when I left and went to BatteryWorld on 149th St - got it for $3 (if you want them to install it, it's the same price!). In addition, he has scratched my case back before and denied ever doing so. (I got to the car and noticed it, walked back in to show him so I hadn't even left the mall).
There are other watchmakers in the city and I will not be going to him anymore for his fees/work (he charged some poor kid $75 to reset the hands on his Tommy Hilfiger watch.that costs more than the watch is worth! I was in disbelief when told him the price).
Super job last time I needed battery replacement but this time I got a "there's the woman with the cheap watches" look and totally ignored. My money is just as good as anyone's but I don't need to feel like I'm a pair of dirty underpants left on the floor.
