Having had a prior, very positive experience with the Evan J. Strong team, we once again entrusted them with all our arrangements. Kurtis (our Director) put us at ease the moment we stepped into his office. He sensitively and skillfully guided us through the process while addressing specific, emerging needs. From start to finish, we connected with several individuals (including as well - Kelly, Geriann, Sondra and Carlene) and we found everyone to be exceptionally helpful, conscientious and compassionate.

My father had prepaid at another home west of the city - when the time came, they wanted an additional $3,000 on top of what he had already paid.

Evan J. Strong informed me that the prepaid amount sits in a trust that I could have refunded (plus nominal interest). I did that and west with Evan J.instead - the total cost was significantly less than the other guys, and the service was exceptional.

The entire family was very happy with the services that Evan J Strong Funeral Home and Michelle provided and we felt supported and informed throughout. Thank you to you and your amazing team for helping us through a stressful and emotional time.

This was my first time ever to have had to step up regarding the passing away of a loved one. I cannot express my gratitude for the team at Evan J. Strong, this week has been especially difficult for our family as my mother passed away on March 28th. I have to be honest, I was recommended to Evan J. Strong by the Greek Orthodox Church and I was met with nothing but compassion, kindness and honesty. I have never gone through something so difficult and this experience was made just a little easier because of this. Firstly, I hear it's unheard of to plan a service within 1 day, and Kurtis and his team did it. It was important to our family to have the service this quickly and Kurtis made it happen. We had a beautiful funeral and graveside service all thank you to Kurtis, Amber, and Geriann (I'm sure I haven't mentioned everyone). Secondly, the honesty and professionalism from everyone was exceptional. My family and I felt taken care of from beginning to end. Kelly was incredibly helpful with the logistics and answered all our questions. And lastly, I again cannot express my gratitude for everyone I connected with during this incredibly hard time for our family, thank you so much for everything you have done for us and most importantly my mom was treated with the respect and dignity she deserved.

With only a moments notice Evan came to our home to discuss all details and take us through all our options. Not only did they do an amazing job with the funeral and dealing with COVID, their support and caring continued after as well.
