We were greeted by a really unpleasant experience at your cafe today, disappointing start to our vacation in Banff!
The lady at the cashier this morning was very unkind to us. We had a large order so we went slow in our ordering. But that was met with rudeness from her side. We let it pass. We then observed that there was a mistake in our order and when we corrected her, she responded by saying ‘we were yelling at her’. Post that she didn’t give us a receipt, didn’t help us with the card machine (which was different it the one we’re used to) and to add to it put our name down incorrectly for the entire order. When we took our order, we realised that two items of our order were missing. When we went back to the cafe, her attitude was just appalling! She said it was being prepared but we realised everyone after us was getting their orders. We went around and asked another staff member and they told us our slips that fallen on the floor and missed. Thank you Gavin for saving the day and getting us our complete order!

This is my first time in Canada and I’m so sad that this is how my trip has started. I didn’t deserve this start to my day. This experience and behaviour was completely uncalled for.

Hot chocolate is not real hot chocolate, too sweet and similar to ready to drink ones we can make at home.

Delicious vegan cappuccino! Totally recomend it. Also had the berry pie of the day and it was nice.

Excellent location, good service and the cafe mocha (with and without whipped cream) was pretty good.

Great go to stop when in Banff. Local roasted coffee, with wonderful snacks, meals and treats. We always bring home a pound of Evelyn's house roasted coffee.

Get the Apple Cider! You will not regret it! Probably one of the best apple ciders I have ever had

Cute, little coffee shop on banff ave. We decided to just have a coffee there. So I will only rate the coffee. I was not impressed. It’s just a regular coffee nothing special. I asked them to switch my brew as it had a stale burnt flavor as it was sitting on the warmer too long. They kindly switched it to a fresh brew. But gave me a lighter brew, which I’m also not impressed it. However, They had nice workers and an array of small sandwiches, and pastry items that looked good.

This place had the best hot chocolate I have ever had. Looking at other reviews, I see I'm not the only one who thinks so! Seriously, it's incredible. We got breakfast sandwiches and banana bread too on our visit - also fantastic - but that hot chocolate was something else!

The best apple cider you’ll have. Also delicious baked goods, in particular the almond croissant. Cozy atmosphere and wonderful staff.

Really nice coffee at a cosy cafe. Friendly staff as well, and overall a lovely coffee spot.

Ordered the cranberry oatmeal cookie and ham & cheese breakfast muffin. Cookies are huge and delicious. The muffin was so good too!

Selection of food & treats look really yummy.

They have a little gift shop corner too. Lots of seats but can get crowded as it seems popular. Would definitely come back)

Their hot chocolate is one of the best I’ve ever had! We had their ham and cheese croissant and the chicken pot pie, both were very good! The crust on the pot pie was light, flakey and moist. Best chicken pot pie I’ve ever had! Going to make this a must stop for a quick bite to eat. Tons of pastries/baked goods. Definitely need to try more of their items.

Was okay for a coffee shop not sure what to expect tbh safe was good, the pot pie with coffee was good, I would still recommend but it was a coffee shop

This place was a shambles. I would not recommend
No organisation poor quality food and coffee.
We spent just over 3 weeks in Canada and Alaska and this was the worst place we visited

Just 29,39$! That is what the cashier told me. For two sandwich and a large and an XL coffee, my sandwich was an old sandwich from yesterday but there was the sticker of today's date over the yesterday's chicken and the roast chicken sandwich was a joke! 5 little chunks of chicken for 10.45$! At least for that price can you give them fresh from today! Very disappointed.

A pleasant little coffee shop. They have all the usual coffee drinks and breakfast snacks, plus a little shop for mugs and gifts. The drinks were great, and perfect for walking. The inside seemed clean and well organized, and the staff seemed friendly and helpful.

There wasn't too much of a wait, even in the morning during peak season. If the other coffee places on the strip are too crowded, this is a better option. Would go again.

When I travel, I like to try different cafes in the area as a coffee and pastry lover. Coffee from here was not bad, but the scone was the worst scone I have ever had. It tasted like over-baked dry crust of the muffin, and it just seemed like they didn’t use enough butter. My friend had pot pie, and it was pretty decent.
