We had a thirty-year-old tiered deck that was showing its age. Three companies quoted and all were in a similar price range We decided to go with the the Deck Store because of their quick response in visiting our site, friendly informative service, computerized drawings of our future deck, and the detailed list of materials in the quote. We were told that their store frequently builds decks in the fall and winter and were assured that their carpenters were skilled and efficient.

We are presently waiting for our railings to be installed. There was a supply problem and of course at minus thirty below deck construction ceases. Fortunately, our deck floor and stairs were finished before the cold weather stint in December.

We cannot say enough positive things about our carpenter Steve. He arrived on time, was knowledgeable and used his time effectively. It was a huge project and he managed all aspects of it with skill and a sense of humour when the weather was damp and cold. Our wide stairs and angled joins required him to be a thoughtful, creative problem solver. Nothing is out of line or not straight in our deck. At first glance or looking with a critical lens it’s obvious that a skilled professional put our deck together. Steve kept us in the loop and presented many good ideas to solve the various challenges he faced.

His pride in his work and efforts to do a good job are evident in everything he does. He cleaned up after himself each day and the site was totally cleaned up and ready for our use when he left. Thanks Steve.

I bought some of their Ledge Stone Black panels for our fireplace and am very happy! Everyone that I worked with here was very helpful and easy going. The project turned out amazing.

The product itself is beautiful and really easy to work with/install. They know this product well too so they have lots of tips/tricks for the install.

We ordered materials from everything exterior. They, Everything Exterior did their take off etc. Upon delivery and review we (ourselves, our contractors etc.) realized the company grossly overestimated the material required.
We reached out to the company upon our material being delivered to discuss the extreme overestimate and delivery. We did not hear back, we reached out again and again.we did not hear back. After a blunt email (and nearly a year later) someone finally returned my messages. I was told the salesperson we were working with, who did the material takeoff and estimates, was not longer with the company. I was told the company was sold and there is absolutely nothing Everything Exterior is willing to do to compensate for their company's significant error. We were equitable and decided to use as much of the extra material as we could. However, due to the overestimate we were sent and billed for enough material to build almost 2 full houses!

To provide insight to how much was over estimated: we were able to build our 5600 sq foot house +PLUS+ a 2600 sq foot shop, a 400 sq foot shed, 5 x 30 sq foot garden boxes.and we still have enough material to build another significant building. I should also note material that would never have been appropriate for our build was sent as well.

We realize errors happen, we reached out, we used as much of the excess material as we could. The company has acknowledged the error was on their behalf and it was a gross overestimate. In turn we were billed thousands of dollars for materials we did not need.

A note from us to anyone purchasing from the company: Be sure to review their take off. I would literally go line by line and initial every lift of material.

Alternatively use another company!

Such a wonderful experience with EE! They really went above and beyond and made sure we got exactly what we needed. Our backyard turned out so beautiful and I couldn’t be happier! Their customer service is amazing, rare to find these days.

As a contractor they are great guys to communicate with and always keep me posted on when the materials will be delivered. Communication is very easy and everything has been flawless.

My Hubby spent an hour drive each way into Edmonton to purchase siding for our addition on Thursday. Was told he could pick up on Friday at 11 am.
So he hooked up the trailer and headed to the warehouse Friday (another hr each way) only to be told oh geeze we don’t have it in stock it should be here in a week or two!
Very unhappy and angry he came home. After some conversation he asked for a refund and was told they would deliver it to our acerage. Well guess what.no show!

Was trying to source specific type and color of screw for my PVC fascia. Called EES and they had what I needed in stock. Customer service rep extremely helpful and friendly.

I have ordered multiple products from Everthing Exterior and have had great service and timely delivery. Even when we decided to extend our project and needed more material in a short time frame, they were able to make it happen. I would recommend them for your next project!

Our experience with Everything Exterior has been very mixed. There were many errors made by them while putting together our deck package and it took us nearly three months to receive all the materials required to complete our deck. We were given the wrong materials for our deck on three separate occasions and had to wait weeks between each instance to receive the proper materials from their warehouse.

The process we went through when communicating with the company while trying to locate our missing pieces and ensure we had everything we needed was extremely slow and irritating. We expected a much more seamless process while dealing with deck experts and a specialty store like this that offers deck packages.

Onto the positives - the deck itself looks great and we are satisfied with the quality of materials once we received it all. Although the communication was very slow, all of the different employees we spoke to were very friendly and positive.

I’ve worked with everything exterior for the last 3 years on various projects and they have always been great! Their products and staff are top notch and I never hesitate to recommend them to a client.

I had went to 4-5 other stores looking for aluminum deck railing solutions w/o any luck, I visited Everything Exterior store on the south side. While there the receptionist listened to my concerns and suggested I speak with their Sales rep Faron, who took the time and had several idea's for me. Good knowledge and excellent customer support. As a professional commercial contractor with over 25 years experience in the Edmonton construction industry, we have found that the Everything Exterior Store FAILS to service their customers or to honor their mistakes. We supplied the data and measurements and EES did the estimation which resulted in over 10K in extra railings and fittings. EES does not honor their mistakes and only offered a 40% restocking fee. Very unprofessional and they do not stand behind their customers or more importantly their mistakes. Choose a different reputable supplier.

I had such a great experience here! The showroom was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and knowledgable. Natalie helped us to complete our project and she was such a great person to work with. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for materials for their current and future projects.

We've built two decks now using this store and we are really happy with the quality of the product and selection available. Their showroom is really nice and they have everything on display so you can assess colors and textures of the actual deck surface before buying. We've found it best to shop at the beginning of the season for product availability. Their sales department is great. You just give them your dimensions and drawings and they build a quote and calculate everything you need. We always had a point of contact with the same sales person each time which was great when you had a question. It was like talking with a friend about the project instead of calling a random person and having to explain the whole scenario. Stephanie was really helpful and responsive and I would not hesitate to recommend this store to all of my friends. We get lots of complements on our new deck and we couldn't be happier with the result.

I always liked this store and have bought a few things in the past with decent service.
This month my company got charged a 2.5% fee after cancelling my $3000 deposit due to the confusion that "IN STOCK" apparently means 2 weeks away. Very, very, disappointed in the owner as I would happily put customer service regarding a misunderstanding above $75.

Great customer service, knowledgeable staff, as a contractor I’ve shopped the city and now I purchase the bulk of my products at Everything Exterior.

Service was good but the return wasn't good at all. If any items is not used. We can't return because of some scratches. I never have this problem before from purchasing some other places. Peoples make sure you check everything before picking up the products. Sometimes they blame us for damaging it that we never did it. Watch out for them.

I built a deck and used Everything Exterior to supply the materials for my builder. The builder recommended them as having the best selection and best price. We went to discuss our plans with Tim and find out how much material we’d need. It was quickly evident that Tim knows his stuff. He had great ideas and gave us a very accurate estimate.
Another plus was he delivery our material right on time. We’d heard other people had problems with some other suppliers, pleasant surprise.
The rest of his staff is also very helpful and friendly. I don’t usually write reviews but I figured this would save people a lot of leg work. Use these guys and you’ll be very happy you did.

From start to finish, had an excellent experience with Everything Exterior. After much thought, decided to go ahead with HideAway Screens on a deck project. Everything Exterior went above and beyond with customer service. I chatted with two different people through the quote and purchase phase, and both were incredibly helpful and great to deal with.
The HideAway Screens look amazing (absolutely stunning) and I couldn’t be happier with the product and purchase experience.

If your building a deck this is the place to buy from. Everything Exteriors is a customer focused business that is second to none for exterior items for your home. I live in St Albert and shopped at all the Home Building stores in my area and Edmonton. Thou some sell similar product the price and customer service you receive at Everything Exterior is the unmatched. Tim's knowledge in the product they carry is the best and he really cares about your project, you can't make a bad decision here.

This is the best place hands-down to buy composite and PVC decking in Edmonton. The price is comparable to other stores, but it is the customer service that drives this business. We built a small deck with Clubhouse decking (Ironwood and Driftwood) and Tim went beyond the norm for helping us achieve this. This product is amazing, and this store is the best.
