My husband and I are in Bridgeland area and saw the raving reviews for Exige. Although they're located downtown, we realized parking was really affordable. We paid less than $2.00 for 2 hours.

I had relaxation massage and my husband had deep tissue massage. We were both so satisfied with the massages. The massage therapists knew exactly where the knots were and so knowledge.

They allocated time for treatment plan, then actual 60min massage and then after care. There's a place in Bridgeland that we went to, the massage therapists gave after care instructions while they were still massaging us. The discussion of treatment plan was part of the 60min.

Another bonus that we enjoyed was the added on services such as hot stones, cupping and red light therapy. Other places charge for these services. Exige includes them, at no charge.

This is our go to place for massage now.

We visited Calgary and was so glad to find Exige in the core of Calgary, Alberta. We had couples massage and it was the best massage we had ever experienced.

We highly recommend Exige for massage therapy and especially if you have insurance coverage for massage as they offer registered massage therapists to claim for insurance.

We will be back when we are back in town.

Great massage, loved the RMT I had. My only complaint is you truly don't receive a full 60 min massage. They start the time from when you are in the hallway reviewing your form with you. It took 8 minutes from the time the RMT took the form until the massage started. I have never encountered this before from any other establishment. Exige's website indicates "60 minutes is $119.99", which is not accurate. I asked the RMT about this, and she responded that this is their policy.

This place is amazing. Staff is polite and know what they are doing. Have recommended to all of my friends.

Wonderful experience yet again at Exige Medi Spa! I developed plantar fasciitis in my left heel area and saw that Exige had a special foot massage for that. Jim was amazing and really worked to stretch out the bottom of my feet with the perfect pressure. I highly recommend Jim and Exige! I always have a great experience at Exige!

I’ve been getting massages at Exige since late 2020 (?) and I’ve never been disappointed. I usually book with Eric, though today I was booked with Jim, and can say with confidence that both are great! Each are RMTs, very professional and knowledgeable. The spa itself is clean, and located just off of centre st downtown.

I did massage, cupping among others. It was a good experience. Even slept off towards the end. Definitely going back there.

This is a wonderful massage location! I play racquet sports, and Jim is fantastic at focussing on my shoulder and neck to release tension. I like the combo massage + stretch option as Jim stretches my muscles during the session. You can choose a customizable massage specific for your body needs, tempo, and pressure. Jim also gives me helpful stretching recommendations after the massage so I can feel not as tight. The staff are very kind and considerate as well. I will note that it’s a public room, separated by curtains, so you will hear others coming and going.

I would definitely recommend Exige to anybody who wants a thorough and meticulous massage experience!

I’ve seen both Melanie and Alyssa and both are great! I’ve always had excellent massages and I love that the treatment area is a silent area. The complimentary add ons are awesome and really add to the experience! 10/10, I’d definitely recommend Exige!

I had a buccal / facial muscle massage with Dr. Amanda and it was amazing. She’s so knowledgeable and was able to tell which side of my face I was more dominant when it came to chewing, which side I had a TMJ issue, as well as which one my lymph nodes required more draining. My sinuses are clear and I’m less swollen. It was a really relaxing facial massage, definitely will be going back more often for maintenance. It was located at their second location and there’s lots of parking available nearby. The space was super clean and calming.

I had a 90-minute massage with Anto yesterday. It was exactly what I needed for my lower back and rhomboid tightness.

They have over $150 worth of added on services such as hot stones, cupping and hot towel cleanse for free. Most places charge extra for these.

My therapist spent time developing treatment plan with me and after my massage spent time walking me through the aftercare and next treatment plan.
I was at another place and they include treating plan as part of my 90min massage time and started giving me after care during my massage time. My therapist at Exige gave me additional time for before and after massage.

I'm feeling 110% better today and was able to return to work and be physically active again.

Would definitely be coming back.

I would recommend Gleivis Villalba. She was accurate with the pressure points and suggested suitable remedies to overcome the aches in the future. She is a thorough professional and a good consultant. Exige is the place to go for therapies.

I won't recommend this place at all, they're not providing information on cancellation policy and parking is extra to pay. They only want to charge you for the service that's not provided and total useless.

Melanie was INCREDIBLE. Definitely not the relaxing massage I had in mind, but given my back issues, it was nice to have it worked on. I have already booked 6 more sessions as per Melanie's recommendations, and look forward to coming back.

Unreal experience, they were very thorough with their introduction, finding out what areas we wanted focused on, checked in on pressure multiple times! My masseuses Melanie was tiny but very strong. So incredibly professional and thoughtful. I’ve been to millions of places before and work in the spa business, I was very impressed from the beginning all the way to the end.

It’s a must try place!

I went in for the buccal face massage with Dr. Amanda and she helped relieve a lot of stress I held in my face, neck, and scalp. I work in front of a computer 8 hours a day, and so I didn't know how much my eye and face muscles needed the massage until Dr. Amanda was working on them and I immediately felt a release of stress and I felt more relaxed when it was done!

Exige exceeded expectations. To start, the person at the front desk greeted me softly and made me feel at ease. It was my first professional massage and Glevis, a junior therapist there, was incredibly kind and made me feel very comfortable and safe. They were clear, communicative and got me to such a relaxed state that I nearly fell asleep! I left on a cloud and remained there for days. I highly recommend this to everyone and I will certainly be back!

Took us a bit to find the door to get in, but that's more on me than anything else, and they came outside and found us right away.
Really good massage. Went with my partner for a couples massage and had Eric do a deep tissue massage on myself while my partner was worked on by Alyssa. We both left feeling like we were floating. It was great. Very professional, very communicative, and their no-charge add-ons made the experience feel very personalized. Will definitely go back!

The non insurance massage price is great for when I need a day to myself and the ladies at front desk always make me feel welcomed.

I've been struggling with a bad flare up of planter fasciitis for the past three and a half months. I happened to come across this spa and saw they offered a massage for this condition! Wow! Lynn was amazing and my feet feel like they aren't mine! The studio is so peaceful and all the staff were delightful.

Excellent hidden gem in the city! I've been here multiple times for therapeutic body massages and each time has been a wonderful experience - Eric is amazing, along with the entire team that I've dealt with during booking and checking in. The no-cost add ons, like hot towel, cupping, hot stones, etc.is such a great thing to offer guests and unique to this place only.
What I want to highlight is the intra-oral/facial massage that I had with Dr. Amanda. She is very knowledgable and provided the absolute best massage I've ever had. I have TMJ in my jaw and experience pain with the muscles in that area for many years. I've had intra-oral massages before, but its honestly very difficult to find therapists who will do them. Dr. Amanda made me feel very comfortable, kindly explained why I'm feeling discomfort and provided me with immense relief at the end of the massage. Even if you don't experience tightness in your jaw like I do, getting this type of massage by her would also help to alleviate migraines or headaches since there is so many muscles in the face alone. Many people would benefit from getting this done and there is no better place in the city who will provide high quality service such as this place.
The staff here are all extremely professional and the overall decor and atmosphere is so relaxing. I highly recommend going to Exige!

This review is longgg overdue, the staff at this spa are AMAZING! I had purchased a gift certificate for a birthday and because of the time it was placed the order was missed. When i reached out, they were able to have the gift certificate ready and delivered to me personally all the way in the NW! They went above and beyond for me and i was able to include the certificate in the gift as i had wanted.the location and spa itself is beautiful, i cannot wait to go in for a massage!

Given the price point of services, my expectations were high. I was expecting the best foot massage of my life, but instead I left feeling very disappointed. I would not recommend and will not return. I requested a light pressure relaxing foot massage and received a therapeutic deep pressure massage which left my feet sore for 3 weeks. I did not care for the open air environment which discourages open communication. I appreciate the front staff, Heather, was very friendly and welcoming. Suggestions: masseuse should check in with their clients during the massage, clearly communicate details of where to park for validation ahead of the appointment, and include a booking confirmation link clients can click through to confirm their appointments so we don't receive 6 different emails and text message reminders.

Very unique experience! The “reception” area is not like the ordinary. The interior is so calming and unlike the usual rooms with doors, there are individual “tents” instead. The service was exceptional; they took the time to explain/discuss with me in detail and offered me a hot towel for my hands. There are massage chairs inside too!

Whether booking for Jr therapist or fully licensed, the service offered by Exige is hard to find anywhere else. The staff is very knowledgeable, caring and listening to my need to ensure that I leave feeling relax and pain free. Strongly recommended.

I am an RMT and I am very picky when it comes to relaxation massage. Exige did not disappoint. The atmosphere, great customer service of front desk, and skilled therapist made this an amazing experience. The price is more than reasonable for what you are getting. Would reccomend!

I have been coming here for years: since Exige opened. Last few massages I had here, in this past year were with April. She consulted and listened to my needs, asked me questioned and gave me wonderful suggestions to help with my issue. I have a few different message therapists over the years and they have all been excellent. Heather at the front desk is lovely as always. This place has always been top notch: they know how to be in service and provide a stress free experience. Isn't this partly why we get massages? We have enough stress in the world right now, and I know when I come here my experience is always stress free. I have referred many people here and everyone comes back to me saying Amanda and her team simply are the best. Keep up the high level of service standards: D. I had a great first experience today at Exige Medi Spa! Everyone was so friendly and had great communication. They sit down and talk to you at the beginning to discuss what areas you'd like to focus on and where to avoid where as some places just disregard that information. Fantastic experience at Exige. I had a 90 minute massage combining deep tissue with Thai yoga, and Anh was a wonderful therapist. Great pressure and skill in working out all of my knots. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and were responsive when I had a few questions a couple days before. Highly recommended, I will be back!

Best massage experience I have EVER had! My wife and I just went for a massage at Exige this afternoon. My wife went for therapeutic and I went for deep tissue.
Our RMT’s were both incredible!
They were both very knowledgeable and tailored the massage to our specific problem areas. The spa environment itself is very professional and clean but also warm and inviting.

Had a 90 minute massage yesterday with RMT Anh. The environment was very calming & Anh’s pressure was on point. She really focused on all the troubled locations. Best parts were: the facial, scalp massage and upper back massage. Will return for sure!

If you like deep tissue ask Jenny! She got magic hands and even gave some feedback on how to manage posture and strengthen muscles in problematic areas. Thanks again! Great atmosphere and the people were super friendly.

I love how clean they are. When I got there, I had to remove my shoes and they gave me booties to wear (I think all places should do that. If they want you to remove your shoes, they should provide booties for you to wear). I had warm cloth for my hands, etc.
My therapist was Alyssa. She was really good! Perfect pressure. My only concern was the massage room was bright and too cold but all good

Amazing deep tissue massage with Anh. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with a warm towel and slippers. If you are looking for a full hour deep tissue massage, this is the place to go. Hot stone, warm towels, cupping, and much more. I have been to many massage clinics and therapists and this is the best place in Calgary. Anh listens very well to your concerns and applies the right amount of pressure. Her technique is wonderful and finds out where your troubled areas are and works hard at relieving tension in that area. I will be going back many more times as the service and quality of massage is exceptional.

Great massage therapist (Lucy/Alyssa) for relaxing and prenatal massage. Friendly customer service, prices are fair and easy to understand as everything is included in one price. They reimburse parking in the lot adjacent and you can book via text which comes in handy.

My hubby randomly bought me a gift card to Exige so I went for a massage. I liked the atmosphere a lot, it's very calm and relaxing. Eric the masseuse was super talented! I personally like firm pressure, and usually get massages because I'm hurting somewhere rather than for relaxation. It was a perfect combination of both. If you're sore and need help, he's your guy. They also offer a ton of really awesome FREE extras like hot towels, hot stones, aromatherapy, cupping, and more. Will be back, definitely recommend.

Excellent service, I had massage with Eric and strongly recommend the professional. The place has parking lot right in front of the building and they are always willing to reimburse you parking spending. Just show the receipt. Several add-on with no extra costs.

This is the best massage/spa downtown Calgary. I have never had a bad experience, always leave impressed and refreshed. They have many complimentary add ons: hot stone, cupping, facial massage, aromatherapy etc. The space is so comfy and relaxing, good music, right by the river. Covid measures are spot on and reasonable. I 100% recommend this place.

Awesome service and super friendly staff. I visit Exige a couple times a month and I have to say this is one of the best if not the best place in the city to get a massage. The spa itself is super clean they give you a hot towel upon arrival and not to mention you get a lot of value for the price you pay. I would totally recommend this place!

I got a massage yesterday with Phil for 90 mins. I feel so relax after the session, I fell asleep the entire 90 mins. The amount of the pressure and his technique is amazing and it really helps me to ease my back pain. He is highly recommended!

I had a massage with Philip which was wonderful. Philip is a very skilled therapist and adept at finding just the right pressure to relieve any aches and pains. It is amazing with his cupping gliding. I feel extremely relaxed after the massage. Definitely booking him again and I would highly recommend him.

I'm a picky person for massaging. This place has exceeded my expectations. I tried 2 different therapists. Both were very good. I like a very defined and detailed massage and I like it very deep. They were able to deliver without any problems.

They also have a neat feature where they get you to fill out a card showing where your trouble spots are or the spots that you want them to focus on. They also sit with you before and after the massage to discuss what you want and and to review the service.

I would strongly recommend EXIGE, they make you feel very safe, and relexed. The spa experience is really nice.

My only complaint is finding the spa, it is inside the building on the main floor. It does not have a front entrance to the street (like going into a mall)

I am compelled to write a review for this place because they are worth the hype. Beside giving the best massages in the city, they provide the best customer service and I do not say this lightly. I recently ordered a voucher like I always do for my husband and for whatever reason I didn't get the voucher in my email. It took my the whole day to actually realize and when I did, it was Sunday 9 pm so I texted them and let them know of my issue. Honestly I did not expect a response because it was so late on a Sunday. Well, I got a response within 10 min with a resolution and personalized message. Now that's what I call EXCEPTIONAL customer service. I mean I was honestly blown away. I feel these little things and the attention to details really set a business apart. They are the whole package and that's why we keep going back. I cannot recommend them enough!

Since we moved to Calgary in 2019, I have been a regular client to this place for deep tissue massage. I love this place and therapist Nyui. But this time they told me that she was completely booked until end of july and suggested therapist Judy. I was a bit skeptical, but the lady on the phone assured that I can stop anytime within the first 30 minutes and walk out with no charge if I am not satisfied. Since my past experiences have been good, I took it anyway.

Judy was rushing through the entire time. She spent a quick minute to check through the form to decide how much time she would spend on each section of my back and legs depending on my markings. When I was on the table, she wouldn't let me talk to her if I had anything to say regarding my pain. All I was allowed to communicate was if the pressure that she applied was fine with me or no. When she was about to massage my shoulder and neck area, I told her that I have a herniated disc and she should keep that in mind while working in that area. She shut me out and said I cannot say anything other than if pressure she applied was good By this time, it was 45 minutes through the session and I lost my chance of refund.

Overall, I walked out with a swollen neck and more pain. And they have given me an appointment with Nyui for July 14th now. I don't know how that happened. As of yesterday, Nyui was not available until the end of july, and suddenly now that they messed my back up, they have a spot available mid july.

They are taking advantage of the COVID situation and ripping off clients with any random therapist. This was completely unlike a Calgary experience, where people are always looking for ways to help. There was no word of apology or refund or discount for next appointment.

A word of caution, do not take the appointment with a new therapist unless you are new to this place.

The quality of care you get at this spa is unbelievable. Hands down best massage of my life. Lucy was amazing!

All the Staff are so kind and willing to help. Amanda is amazing, she always provides the best service and is so knowledgeable. The atmosphere is so calm and relaxing!

Love the silent atmosphere and the massage therapists know how to give the right pressure! Appreciate the cupping and other services that are included with the massage, and parking is always reimbursed!

Dr Daisy was fantastic. She made sure to address my issues and helped by recommending the perfect free add ons to relieve my pain. Very relaxing massage. Highly recommend this Spa. My wife and I are very happy with our experience.

Got a Thai massage and had a good first time experience. Although they advertised a price of $99, I ended up paying $130. Not sure what happened there but gave them the benefit of the doubt!
