Chemical peels - Tara and Kristen

I had gotten a bad case of adult acne during Covid from eating takeout too much and i was left with ance scars and blemishes. I have never used cleansers and didn’t know what toner even was so finally i came here and walked in and the place smells great for one lol. The lovely ladies were nice and sat me down explained everything and showed me how to use a starter kit - even pulling out the product and showing me in great detail cause i was not smart in this department.

I bought the bundle of 3 peels cause it’s cheaper and they started me light on the first one too see where i was at.being consistent with cleansing my face after 3 months my skin looks almost like it used to complete before i had the acne which I’m so happy about. 3 months seems long but I’ve had these scars for 2 years now and I’m glad they’re disappearing. Thank you ladies

So my journey to get Botox was slightly different. I had a bad side effect to a med I’d been taking; an upper lip twitch that was very frustrating. After quitting the med for months and the twitch not going away, someone mentioned Botox to me. I figured it couldn’t hurt. So I made an appointment with EA and am I ever glad I did! I had a full treatment and two weeks later a follow up with a few tweaks and I have to say my lip and face are 95% back to normal. I’m hoping the Botox allows the brain to learn to relax and not twitch my lip again, but even if it takes time, I’m so happy to have my normal look back. The willingness they had to work with this different problem exceeded my expectations. I truly felt the Dr.wanted to help and was interested in how to do so. I felt he took the time, studied my lip, talked me through the process as I’d never had anything like this done before, and we talked about the different results and the follow up for that. It’s been a truly amazing experience with EA and I highly recommend them.

I only have great things to say about External Affairs! Simone is super knowledgeable and always transparent when it comes to what procedures and products will look best for your face, and how much everything will cost. She is truly the best in the game and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my Botox and filler!

I was referred to Salina by a friend and I'm happy she did. Since my first treatment about 3 weeks ago, I've been twice. My first treatment included a consultation and I asked so many questions. She answered them like a nurse would and not like a sales person. From an outsiders point of view, she really listened and gave me good advice. After the consultation, you receive a beauty consult. This included all the procedures I've asked about, recommendations and approximate costs.

My first appointment was for my elevens and the "spock" treatment. Two weeks later, I had a check up appointment and asked for a lip flip on both my upper and lower lip. I can tell you, both times, I've left feeling completely confident and super happy with the results. I look natural and she helped me feel great again.

I definitely recommend Salina as a cosmetic infector. She has the best bedside manners and listens. She also is very informative and leaves me feeling amazing.

I saw Erika T.at both the St. Albert & Edmonton locations for Filler and Botox. Erika was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable, offered great suggestions, and very skilled at what she does! I love my results and will definitely be seeing her again for future treatments!

I cannot recommend nurse Marlee enough. I have been seeing her for fillers and Botox over the past year, and I’m always thrilled with the results (this is coming from someone who is very picky)! She takes the time to really listen to my goals and I never feel pressured to add anything more than what I’m ready for. At my most recent appointment, Dr. Steven also popped in to provide a complimentary consultation. I felt so well taken care of! Also- they offer great referral and social media credits ;)

I won’t go anywhere else! Marlee is amazing at what she does!:) She makes it as painless as possible and takes the time to make you feel heard and comfortable. She is knowledgeable and makes sure you understand the process. I couldn’t recommend her more for filler and botox!

Simonne is amazing- highly recommend going to see her! I had been so nervous to get filler but always really wanted it- I am very pleased with the results and am so glad I did it. Every EA staff member was super kind and made me feel comfortable. Can’t wait to go back!

At first I didn’t love the experience at all. My husband got me a $500 gc for Botox. The Doctor (girl) couldn’t do my initial assessment in person so it was a phone call. From her “view” I was good. Ok fine.

The nurse that did my Botox was AMAZING. She did exactly what I always get. She did try to upsell but was 100% not pushy.

The Botox follow up was booked with the nurse but ended up being with the doctor (guy). This was a weird experience he took me into a room and there was a lady sitting at the desk just typing she said nothing just stared at her computer. He said for Botox to work on me I would need filler as well. I have never had filler but he was insistent that’s why it didn’t “take”. So it just felt like an upsell appointment. I’ve had Botox before I’m not new and never not had it take so I’m confused.

So 45 days later my Botox didn't take I called the office they got me back in immediately and corrected it and so hopefully it works this time.

They were really kind and happy to fix the problem.

I have been seeing Nurse Vanessa for almost a year now and WOW! Let me tell you, best decision I ever made coming to external affairs. I love External Affairs so much! I had microblading done yesterday by Alyssa and they turned out AMAZING! All the staff is super friendly and inviting!

I got fillers done by Salina. Salina is a new injector learning under Becky so Becky was there the whole time guiding her. I felt very comfortable knowing I was in good hands. Salina did an great job - she had steady hands and took her time to ensure everything was proportionate and that I was happy with the end result. The both of them were really sweet and very knowledgeable - thanks again!

I met with Vanessa last week for botox for the first time. She is extremely professional and very easy to talk to. I told her that I wanted to look more youthful, symmetrical and not "over done". I wanted to wait a week before posting my review to see the full results and I am very happy with the outcome of my procedures! I am not to strong when it comes to pain so having a friendly nurse to chat with while needles were poking my face made it a lot easier. Thank you Vanessa. Can't wait to see you again but hopefully its not too soon LOL!

I've recently received lip and cheek filler at External Affairs and had a wonderful experience! The staff are very professional and kind, and put in the extra effort to make sure you feel comfortable in their hands. I had Simonne as my nurse for lip filler and some cheek filler, and I'm beyond happy with the results. Simonne did a really good job explaining every step she was going to take to create a perfect shape that suits my face, while still achieving my desired look. I really appreciate how External Affairs strongly focuses on the measurements and proportions of your face to ensure a flattering and natural enhancement every time.

I had a great initial experience here. The staff was super friendly. I have the worst tension headaches due to TMJ and decided to get botox. My injector, Vanessa, was super sweet and so informative. She definitely made me feel at ease with the procedure.

I had gotten lip filler from a different place previously, and was pretty unhappy with the look, so I decided to come back and see Vanessa at External Affairs. So amazed at what she was able to do to fix it without having to dissolve what I had! It was important to me that it still looked natural but add volume and even out shape, and she did it perfectly! I'll will definitely be returning.

EA is an exceptional place for all things beauty, skin, and wellness related. Their staff are highly trained and professional. I have struggled with hormonal acne for years, but after visiting their skincare team, my skin has never looked better. I also recently was in for a lip fill and some Botox, and Jasmine and Dr. Stephen were top notch. My results are stunning: soft and natural, but still full and glamorous. I can’t rave about them enough!

I visited the St Albert location today for the first time as I usually visit the Edmonton location, which is equally as amazing! The girls were very welcoming and my injector Marnie was amazing! I've been using the services at External Affairs for a few years now and I honestly can't say enough. I just had an amazing dermaplaning service with Candace and she is such a natural. You can tell that she has had excellent training and she is very confident. This clinic offers so much for their clients, including doctor assessments, skin care treatments, injections, permanent makeup and more. I am looking forward to my next service.

Sheena is by far the most skilled nurse in the city. The entire staff is always friendly and welcoming. All around, there really isn't a reason to go anywhere else.

I received lip injections for the first time and Belotero was the suggested product. At first, Belotero Soft was injected with zero results, then I went back for Belotero Firm and was happy. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks the results disappeared. The cost of my disappointment? $400.
I started to do some research regarding this filler (including consultations at other clinics), turns out this product was rebranded (not a good sign) and most doctor's do not choose this product due to the results not lasting long. During my consultation at External Affairs (I won't mention names), I was told that this filler is more natural and lasts longer. As a first timer to the lip injection world, this product shouldn't have been suggested to me, since the results are minimal and don't last long. If you don't have a filler base, DO NOT get this product injected. I have been told to stick to the classics - Restylane and Juvederm. Overall, VERY disappointed and will most likely not return to External Affairs due to this product being suggested to me as "better".

Kristen treated me for laser hair removal and went above and beyond my expectations on how informative and detailed she was with the whole process. She broke down week by week what I can expect to see, along with the proper maintenance to help ensure the success of the laser hair removal process. The front end staff is always in great spirits and makes it a warming atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Highly recommend this location and any and all services they provide no matter what your looking to get done.

I don’t normally write reviews, however I felt the need to share how much I appreciate External Affairs. I have been coming here for years now. I am always impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff in both locations who try and go above and beyond to make each visit a pleasant and rewarding experience. I never feel like I’m pressured to buy more than I need, and I’ve always been very happy with the results I’ve had from various services. Keep up the great work, ladies!
