Fabricland

Great management and staff helped me find the items on my list. There's a membership club that saved me lots of money on my purchases. Plenty of specials in all sections of the store. Reasonable quality quilting cottons, you just won't find the big name fabric brands here.

Not sure what more to ask for in a fabric store. Service was great and they had the right colour of fabric and thread. We made it for a good sale on broadcloth, lots of Scout neckers to make this time of year.

I went here to buy a bolt of fabric that another Fabricland confirmed with them, over the phone, that they had. They not actually have it. When I asked for their help to locate it, they told me they didn't have enough information to find it for me. Let me be real clear: this is a very unique fabric. After I left, I sat in my car in the parking lot and called a different Fabricland. Based only on the information provided to them by me, they were able to say that they could special order the fabric for me.

My Granddaughter and I visited Beacon Hill Fabricland for the first time. Clearly, we looked confused as to where to lineup for the cutting table. A nice lady guided us to the correct place. She then happened to be the person who was cutting fleece for us. Oh My Goodness, Leslie was so kind and helpful to my Granddaughter. Leslie offered ideas and encouragement all the while she happily cutting the fleece. Thank you for hiring Leslie. Leslie, thank you for being such a positive asset to the store. We had a wonderful shopping experience.

I am a new sewer, I always feel so awkward trying to shop for fabric and supplies for my current project. The young lady, who helped me was so helpful and kind. She was so patient with me and really took the time to make sure I was okay with my purchases. I don't know what her name was and the only way I could describe her would be to say she was a pretty young African Canadian lady. Thank you so much! My puppy pajamas and fleece sleeping bag turned out awesome! I shall be back soon!

Beacon Hill Fabricland shames all the rest! The ladies are amazing and the store and fabric are very organized and clean! I live across from Spruce Meadows the drive is well worth it!

The customer service, or lack thereof at this store, is astonishingly atrocious. They have an "employee" sitting just inside of the exit doors counting the people who come into the store who had the audacity to screech at me "CAN'T YOU READ" when I entered the store, referring to one of the dozens of signs cluttering every inch of available space on the doors and windows. This location needs to have some incredibly intense customer service training, or simply hire a team that knows how to treat customers and PEOPLE in general. Everyone I know who had made the mistake of entering this location has the same comments about their "customer service. " Do yourself a favor and visit a different location.

Visited on NW location on Feb 1 to buy foam and other materials for chair cushions. The store didn't have the items I was looking for. When I asked one of the staff for help, she was helpless to help me saying: 'this is what we have'. None of the items I was looking for were available. Wasted over 30 minutes and had to unfortunately leave the store without spending a single dollar. Next day, I decided to go to the NE location and found everything I wanted available there! I spent over $350 in the NE location. See my other review for NE location.

Friendly staff. Great collection of fabric, trims and all. Will be going their a lot for all my designing needs.

Always great selection, I shop when they have their sales on! I always try to give customer service the benefit of the doubt, but I have been there more frequently recently, and there has only been one sales associate who is sweet and friendly. Everyone else is annoyed that you are shopping or asking them to cut fabric. Too bad!

My husband and I went into this location to grab fabric for Christmas and was not allowed in do to my husband being exempt from wearing a mask. I was wearing one but he was not. He has no symptoms and tested negative for Covid days ago. They lost out on a hundred dollar sale because they were judgemental against my husband.

Wonderful ladies here, the customer service was excellent! The two women I dealt with were very kind and helpful!

Unfortunately I cannot put into words my utter distaste for Fabricland. The staff at any location I’ve been to is always quite rude and the prices are outrageous. $20 for a “6 wooden embroidery hoop and $9 for a 5” plastic one? The yarn as well, at least 2-3x more expensive than Michaels for the same amount and brands. I’m not surprised in the slightest that the stores never have more than a handful of people inside.
