Fabutan / Hush Lash Studio

I understand the 24 hour policy, however if I tanned yesterday and I’m an hour within my appointment for the next day. I don’t appreciate being declined to tan.

I am paying for these services, I should be aloud to use them.

I’m very torn. The girls at the front are lovely and informative and they remember lots of names which is a nice personal touch, but the owner is terrible. I went in once when he was working and he was laying down on the couch watching Netflix, very unprofessional. I’ve been in since COVID-19 and they don’t require masks which makes me feel unsafe. But the girls keep it very clean in the waiting room and the beds so I’m not worried about the cleanliness and sanitation. The staff wear masks but when I asked about it they said they aren’t allowed to refuse service to people without a mask even though it’s the law, so I’m sure the owner is valuing a dollar above everyone’s safety. However, I’m getting a good tan and even though the lotion I bought from there was very expensive it’s working very well so it’s worth buying it.

I will never go back to either location in St. Albert or any ovation owner by the owner in St. Albert. I inquired about the way the studios were cleaning beds as I’ve seen the women working there use the same towel multiple times to clean different beds. When I asked the staff they informed me this was how they clean the beds. When I tried to speak the manager he completely avoided me until I’m assuming corporate got involved and he actually responded.in a very unprofessional and shocking manner. Instead of addressing how the beds were cleaned at all, he proceeded to accuse me that I’ve damaged their beds by using unapproved products. Which is funny, considering I’ve only ever tanned at Fabutan and only bought their products (which staff confirmed as they recently saw my purchase of a lotion, and they check for lotion and eyewear everytime) so now he’s accusing his staff of not doing there job as well.
Again when I asked about the cleanliness of the beds and how this had nothing to do with lotion he responded by telling me that all he could do was cancel my membership and that he banned me from all locations he owns in St. Albert and Edmonton area. Great customer service. NOT! Instead of addressing a major health concern as a manager/owner, he simply threw false accusations and blame at me instead of trying to salvage business. BBB and AHS have been notified of the health violations these salons strictly owned by this manager are having.

I will not be returning to this location. Their beds are falling apart and in desperate need of new bulbs. The worst part is that their washer and dryer has been broken for way too long and the owner won’t replace it. This is quite disturbing because if they are unable to provide customers towels when they go tanning how are they cleaning the beds properly? I am paying money for a service and should be able to get a towel before I go in to the room and be confident that it is clean. The staff is very friendly, but unfortunately the owner is the big problem here.

Hanna did an amazing job with my volume lashes. They are so full and last so long! She also gave me some great advice on getting a spray tan. Overall I had an amazing experience at this fabutan and I will deffinatley be back:)

I love this location. The staff are great and very helpful and informative. The place is VERY clean and fresh looking with updates and have the best prices in town!

Great location, it is very clean and organized. Recently opened their Lash Studio and the Lash Techs are amazing. The girls that work at this Fabutan have all the information and give the best recommendations for lotions and services.
