Returned back to this barbershop after trying them out about a month ago, and let me say Abdul is very professional and true to his craft. He ensures that you have the perfect cut while doing so in a timely manner. He also recently renovated the shop and it looks amazing, very modern and clean. Will definitely be coming back to him for haircuts from here on out!

I picked this place because my son (15 yrs old) needed a hair cut and the place had high ratings and said it was experienced with thick curly hair.
I brought and showed multiple photos and both my son and I explained that he wanted the sides shortened and just a trim up top to keep his curls.
The barber didn’t listen at all, he buzzed all of my sons hair off in the back and completely thinned the curls on top that there wasn’t much left. Once my sons hair was dried, he was left with a puff of uneven hair in the front.
When my son saw all his hair on the ground and looked in the mirror he said to the barber not to cut anymore and he responded so rudely- telling my son to chill out. Like he was scolding him. I’ve never heard someone speak so rudely to a customer. For a 10 minute “haircut” it cost $31.
Needless to say we will never go back.

10/10 barbershop. I have been coming here since I moved to Edmonton from Toronto and I am always coming out with a clean fade and line up! Abul is by far the best barber I have ever been to.

This place is terrible, the barber is straight up lazy, he spend probably 10 mins on my fade that is not even you can call a fade! I said mid fade and my hair looks like straight up razor cut on the side.he didn't even ask how much hair i want to be cut on top as well.

I went there about 3 weeks ago, i could say Abul is the best barber I have been to for a long time. He knows what is he doing, very talented. I usually cant style my hair after 10 days or so from having a haircut. Its been 3 weeks and i can still style my hair.

I was looking for a new barber in the north side and decided to try this place out. Abdul was personable and down to earth. He got me right with a clean skin fade and beard lineup. Definitely going back!

There was hair on the floor from people before me and looked accumulated over some time. Buddy seamed really stoned and took forever to put music on and finally start cutting my hair.we got to talking about how much we make and seamed he didn’t like how young and how much I make because he pulled my hair really tight like he was angry the next 4 or 5 cuts after that comment. After that he asked for a good review lol.

When I was in the military I was required to maintain a clean standard for a haircut. I had moved to Edmonton and had a very difficult time finding a barber that was quick, efficient, consistent, reasonably priced AND did a great job. I hadn't been to the same barber twice for nearly 10 years due to my dissatisfaction. That is, until I found Fades and Blades.

Abdul and his work are definitely everything I have been looking for from a barber. I have not been disappointed and will be a returning customer. If you've had a similar experience, I highly recommend giving them a try. I guarantee you won't regret it. I just wish I had found this shop sooner. Keep up the great work.

I moved here in Edmonton not long ago from Montreal. I disperared to find a great barbershop like the ones you can find in Montreal that knows the meaning of fades and hair style but sadly i couldn't find one that offered the real thing. Its mostly all just by name they go. Until one day i randomly picked this place that have the look of NewYork style little corner barber shop and sat on the chair of Mahmoud. Honest to God Mahmoud changed my taste for the city and I was amazed with the hair cut, i suddenly felt home again. This guy from Lebanon have Golden hands with a golden personality. If you go there, you go see him and no one else. Maybe just a little barrier with the language but practice will make perfect for sure. Damn he knows what he is doing. I wish him Success!

First time visiting here, moved to the north recently.
Seen Mahmoud today and he was great! Really did a clean job and made sure everything was perfect. Hate it when barbers are rushed. He made me feel like my time was valued and I appreciate that.

I drive by Fades N Blades everyday, decided it was time go get my hair cut after 4 long months of COVID-19, they very friendly and quick. Very laid back barbershop, they were watching soccer when I arrived, then Netflix. I would recommend this establishment to anyone needing a good haircut at a good price.
