Food portion enough for 2 people's prices are very reasonable may need improvement for nihari but still good taste.

By far the best Pakistani restaurant in Calgary. Don't believe the bad reviews. Either those people have no idea what Pakistani food is supposed to taste like or its sheer hatred by other restaurant supporters and owners.

Beef Kebabs are the best in the city. The service is normally very good unless the restaurant is super busy, which it normally is.

Throughout this post-pandemic era, where because of inflation, every restaurant has increased their prices enormously, this restaurant has kept their prices the same as before the Pandemic. Massive respect to the owner!

Never fail to give good service. Highly recommend seekh kabab, chicken tikka and bbq in general. Karahi and mutton biryani are absolute gems too. Highly recommended

Service definitely needs elevation. Otherwise, food is good. Make sure to ask for a receipt breakdown, or else you will get charged more. I paid 7 dollars extra for no reason and didn't realize until I got home.

If you want to get cancer with all the exsesive Shaan masala spices they use in their food.this place is for you.

Always good food. Great customer service. Had an issue for pick up order but the lady on the fone handled very well and didnt argue. She was willing to refund or replaced the naans.
They always serve fresh food. And it taste amazing.

We ordered sheesh Kabab which comes with Naan. My kababs were raw. When told the waitress all she said was okay. When we went to pay the bill I told them I am not paying for the one order as it was raw. She said we still have to charge you for the Naan. It's not the money but the principal. I didn't eat the Naan without the Kabab and told her that. She actually had the stupidity to tell me that if I went to a white restaurant they would never take the item of the bill. Wake up lady, what are you smoking up everyday. White restaurants automatically take it off the bill and infact some restaurants will also give you a gift card to come back if you had a bad experience. You just lost a good customer that was always promoting your restaurant but never again. Terrible service and now also terrible food.

The experience I had deserves a one star review simply because the way they handled my catering order was extremely unprofessional! I ordered kheer for my party from them and called them 3 weeks in advance when they noted everything and told me the manager will give me a call back to confirm. I didn’t receive a call and finally when someone did call me I was at work and couldn’t answer the phone but they didn’t leave any message! I tried calling back and was told that my order is confirmed! Now one day before the event I called them today and they told me that they cannot make the order as they are too busy! I am extremely annoyed by what they have just told me and the person on the phone even said I don’t care if you give a bad review! I definitely am not going back to this place! This is just an example of them thinking that nothing is going to affect their image if they make one person unhappy! Hope people read my review and think twice before placing a catering order with them! There are way too many choices guys, don’t waste their time with this place!

Love the lamb makhani karhai - its my favorite. Food is generally good and service is consistent with most desi restaurants. I have been unsuccessful making table reservations at times - probably busy. Definitely one of the more prominent restaurants in Calgary offering authentic Indian/Pakistani food options - give it a try!

Worst service that I’ve got so far it took them 20 min to take the order 70 min to prepare it and the food was so disappointing at the end. Just wanted to try new thing as i used yo go to fatima but i think i made mistake.

The most amazing food so far. We are here from Toronto and today we had a pleasure to dine at Fahad restaurant. Every dish is fresh.butter Naan straight from the oven that melts in your mouth? Bbq and curries were delicious. All and all we are so happy with the food and service they have offered.

Nice clean place with awesome South Asian food. Typically, South Asian restaurants start well and then the quality degrades over time. However, that's not the case with Fahad. We've been going here for more than an year and quality of food is pretty delicious

The papri chaat was disgusting. We had to throw it away. It was so oily and did not taste fresh. Taste was like salan. Papri chaat at Faisal is so much better thought it was the same here. The rest of the food was ok but this was disappointing as it is usually our kids favorite snack after a meal. First bad experiences here hope they are better next time wont be ordering chaat from here again.

I had my Engagement here a few weeks ago, and wow they did such an amazing job! The food was delicious! The manager was really nice and helped us out. All in all the staff did a great job and the food was way more than expected! Thank you, you guys helped make my day memorable!

My friends and I tried various vegitarian and non-veg dishes here which were truely scrumptious. My friends had some Lamb Curry and Chicken Tikka which they said was 'as tasty as it looked' and was enough for 3 people. On the vegitarian side we had Veg Pakodas, Biriyani and Palak paneer. The Pakodas were so crispy and flavour rich that we ended up reordering them, the Biriyani on the other hand were not their best dish (tasted kinda like flavoured rice). Palak paneer was good though with Garlic Naan. The overall experience was great and the ambience was good too. Our server was not in the best mood but not rude either, so all cool. Would visit the restaurant again sometime.

Staff is v good, friendly n polite above all the manager named I think Sohaib is well mannered, well dressed, experienced and elegant.

We had to wait for about an hour, as the waiter who took our order forgot to place order.

Had Makhni Kadai and Chicken Seekh.kadai was OK. Seekh kabab were good. Staff was OK. Not an amazing experience but not bad one too.

Tried the lunch special and was quite impressed! Customer service could be improved.

I don't know how this place is rated at 3.9 avg rating. Food presentation and ambiance is good but flavour is missing. I tried the seek kabab and chicken karahi. Big let down.

Good food with very poor service and they charge me more then what they serve us I think 20 to 25$

We loved the place every time we come here for lunch. Love the lunch special we get the chicken curry and butter chicken with rice and naan. Great ambiance and good service. Keep up the good work!

2 start just because their service was one of the worst. I had to ask walk to counter to ask for menu after waiting 15min. After that I waited 20min n had to go to desk again to ask them to take order.
Food was good however Naan and Roti was cold.

Good food but horrible order system and confused staff on phone. Called to place an order and they called back twice regarding two different customers’ orders…then we brought the order home and it was missing one ginger chicken out of two. After ALL that effort and confirming 3 times, they still gave the wrong order. Opened the ginger chicken and it’s only half full. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Very good facility for big functions. The food and the prices are very affordable and the owner is very good. He is willing to work with people and make their experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
I am very impressed by the customer service he provided us and very appreciated for his time.
We are doing a reception and we are very happy to do it here.

I went to fahad restaurant 3 times so far & came back disappointed every time. 1st time we went there at 8pm on weekday and the staff made us leave because it was busy. We were not even asked for takeout or asked for wait time. Thats how little they care about their customers. Rest of the 2 times we went there recently, food came after 45min each time. We asked for desert and nothing came, to the point that we had to leave because we were tired of waiting, and no apology from the manager, she just looked away. Worst service. I do not blame their staff for that.because there are total 2-3 waitresses working on 12+ tables tending to large families. Poor waitresses are exhausted everytime we went there. I do want to blame the restaurant and their management who dont care enough to hire more staff or at least come by to the table to ask for anything for the 2nd time. Their food is hardly that good. Gave 3 chances & now I would not ever recommend anyone to go there. There are a lot of other places in calgary with better food for way better service. They lost our business for sure.

Food is ok but pls check ur wash rooms they r pathetic even wash room in basement is in very poor condition floor is broken flash r not in order water comes out with pressure from commode pls look at this matter

I have eaten here multiple times and as usual the food was fairly good but my friend and I both had the feeling we were not really welcome. Every other table the staff checked on them multiple times but we were never checked on even once, after completing our meal we sat there for an extended time and still nothing, he went up to the counter to pay and ask for some containers to pack up our left over food and he came back with less of a good vibe. Sad to say I think it was a ethnicity issue, I don't want to think that is what it was but both of us felt the same way. Sad but true.

Exceptional Pakistani cuisine, wonderful seating, knowledgeable servers, and a wonderful vibe. Fahad had the best south Asian food that I have eaten anywhere in Canada, and competed with the best Mughalai cuisines I’ve had in India (Lucknow). I will be back to enjoy your wonderful food again.

I have been here 6 times now for the good food, every single time I have pointed out the worst customer service practices I have ever experienced, so disappointed as the service has not always improved a bit. 2 servers to attend to all tables which is crazy to say the least, not sure if they ever plan on making it better. The vegetarian items on the menu are not even worth trying.

Great food, interior could be better at places. (white sofa seats psohish have a worn out look) proving is OK. The management could be better though. The staff feel like motivated but unguided & probably not well compensated. Hence no motivation for extra effort.

Over all, it is good but the management/ownership could really use some tips as to improve the little things and then it'd gr8

They're really good with takeout, one time on our way back to Edmonton from Banff we decided to take whole family for dine in experience, it was totally disappointing, bit will continue with our take away, which we also did when were finished with the dine in.

They may have a few not bad dishes, but I have not tried those. I have never see a chicken curry in a restaurant without any garnish, like coriander or green chili. Taste was horrible. Service was just OK

Bad service and lies.

First, let’s start off with the boiled water they provided. With dirty glasses. When you ask for ice? They bring it melted in a steaming hot glass. When you walk in and ask to sit on a table in one of the corner rooms with your family? They say it’s reserved. But later on you see one single couple sitting in it, who by no means was able to reserve the 10 seat table on their own. Got goat karahi. Expect blubber and bones for the expensive price. Burnt naan.

Really expected better from Faisal Kabab’s sister restaurant. This sucked. Hope the owner knows how bad the cooks and waiters have become.

We love their Makhni Karahi. It is one of the best in Calgary.
It is a combination of butter chicken and Karahi chicken. Something very unique and different. The rest of items are also good but the “Makhni Karahi” is best of all.

This restaurant is big and open space. Food was excellent and juicy. No complaints about food, just an little issues that the server once served the food and we never saw him again. He didnt even bother coming back to our table to see if we need anything else. Also to pay for the food, I had to walk up to counter and told them that I am done and want to pay.
I would have given 5***** stars but they lost it because of the server's ignorance. Sorry but not sorry.

I was wondering why people are sometime giving -ve comment. This they do because they face the music. Apart from some of their good food & enough space, their dealing is very bad especially when it come to advance booking.we booked 70+ space almost 2 months ago & want to pay advance.they booked but says no need advance & you can give a week ago.after few weeks they called us that we need to change your date as we have another booking on same day.we were so embraced after calling all guests.we dont like a business which based on lie.

Good food. Good staff. Beautiful ambience. The chef is my best chef for desi food. I have followed him from restaurant to restaurant. Prices a bit on the high side. Because of the vast space children think of it as a playground. Maybe have an adult only section, for meetings etc.

We went there for a party. The ambiance was good but that's all. Very poor management. Very congested buffet. BBQ chicken was raw and the cooked pieces were hard to chew. Wait staff were good but I did not feel the management had a clue of anything. Drinks were not served on corner tables. Every time the tray got empty before reaching the table and no one bothered to fill them. Food was just ok.nothing special.

Fahad Restaurant & Banquet Hall one of the worst restaurant in Calgary, no etiquette, worst service, owner is like a hell, she is just moving in the restaurant doing nothing. I vl recommend not to visit this place. There are some good places of pakistani food in Calgary like DAWAT restaurant. I spent 1 hr there after that onwer's wife came there that we dont ve mutton krahi we waited there 50 minutes after that we got nothing. Worst ever restaurant. VERY CHEEP SERVICE.

Superb service, delicious food and great atmosphere. Went there without booking on weekend in rush hours and the girl at the desk helped us to get the best table available in 10mins. Served the food in next 20 minutes. Got surprised when we ordered (reluctantly) desert, i can guarantee, u can't get the best Pakistani authentic desert outside Pakistan other than Fahad Restaurant.keep it up guys u r awesome.

No. 1 Pakistani resturant in Calgary. Great atmosphere, beautiful decor and fantastic food. They specialize in BBQ. Our favz are BBQ fish, beef kabobs, chicken kabobs, brain masala, Paya, kabab masala, saag, daal. Baryani, karahi dishes are ok, nothing to go crazy for.
They also have a banquet hall in basment, t attended alot of parties there. To be honest, some of the best-selling food I had was at the parties.chef really bring his A+ food.

Just stunningly good. Went with three friends from India and Pakistan, all extremely well-versed in Pakistani cuisine, and we got a feast- kebab, haleem, tandoori fish, nihari, palak paneer, rice and naan with deserts of gulab jamun and ras malai. It was SPECTACULAR, every morsel. The sort of cuisine that we cannot hope for in the inner city.

Please do not go to this resturent lady on counter have no customer service skills and they charge for everything even for sitting in resturent they charge money and also for dining cloths they put on chairs they charge and for 5 minutes music i paid $200 because i used their DJ equipments worst place to go and take your family attitude is like they run 7 stars hotel just waste of money

One of the worst places in Calgary. No customer service no courtesy.
Went there with family for dinner, we were told to sit at a table. It took them 20 mins to come to our table and take our order and that too we had to tell them we were still waiting to have our order taken.
Then after our order was taken we were told that it will take 30 minutes for our order to be served. We agreed and waited patiently for 30 minutes. Well 30 minutes became 1 hour and 20 minutes we waited and still no sign of our food coming. Had a baby with us who was beginning to get fussy after waiting for 1 hour and 20 minutes for food to arrive, so we just ended up leaving.
Very poor service, understaffed and waiters/servers have no manners or customer service skills. One server managed to break a glass while serving and then just left the pieces there he didn’t even go and clean it up. Isn’t that a big hazard especially for the customers.
Servers kept bumping into each other and one server was about to hit a young customer in the face with a bbq platter when she was carrying it out to a table. Never going there again and don’t recommend to anyone they suck. They don’t even deserve one star.

Buffet is a bit limited. I went during Ramadan, so that might have effected food quality. The food wasn't anything impressive. The chicken was a bit dry and they were stingy with the sharbat considering it was a $21 buffet. Service is pretty limited to as they only have 2 waiters for the entire restaurant. Each person in our group wanted to pay their bills but the lady at the register insisted that we do a combined bill even though each person eat from the buffet? If it was a big order that we have then it would make sense for a combined bill.

Very disappointed food quality not worth it even for $8 per person but they charge $20. I wish the owner changes his mind regarding the service and food quality and variety and then select the price. Very tasteless food especially the veg pakora.

Very good place to sit, bad service and worst food ever. We 3 friends visited them for Aftar and food quality was worst as compared to price. They charge 20 dollar for each person and food was not good. Rice was bad taste, mutton was bad taste. Food supply was not sufficient. When I complain it to the lady who is owner ='s wife she said that everything is good and this is not a personal order bla bla. Simply I dont recommend this restaurant.
