Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Edmonton North

Great stay. Except the turkey breakfast sausages didn't taste like breakfast sausages at all. They tasted like chicken stock powder. Gross. Everything else was good.

This hotel has been our go to accommodation in Edmonton ever since it opened and were happy with the service. We also recommended it to several other people. I just discovered that since our visit in April 2023 that the prices have more than doubled. This increase just happens to coincide with the increased need for accommodations with the province being in a state of emergency and the thousands of people being forced to evacuate due to the wildfires. This is a blatant disregard for human decency and plain greed for taking advantage of others misfortune. I have checked several other hotels and have not found another example of the price gouging. I will never stay at this hotel and encourage others to boycott them as well. They need to remember that that this gravy train will end and they should be rewarded for their opportunist greed!

There was homeless people all over the property and inside the lobby everyday. The bathroom had a horrible smell that only went away for a few hours after the room was cleaned when requested. The staff that prepare breakfast do a great job though. I would never stay here again.

Only reason they got 2 starts is because the front desk people were nice, but I don't know their hearing is all that good, for 3 days I asked that out sheets and covers aren't clean and to be changed, mattress was nasty ill show pics and after being evacuated from drayton due to an out of control wildfire they said on the phone 139and have a pic of that but decides to charge me 560 for 3 nights never again and never mind the loud noises from 97st like I'm sleeping under a bridge

This is a fantastic option for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. Cozy rooms with inviting beds and great amenities, you will enjoy a restful night's sleep. A complimentary breakfast buffet awaits each morning (I haven’t tried, but seen how it looks) offers a selection of choices to kick-start your day. Conveniently located near restaurants, convenient store and a business hub, this hotel is perfect for business stays. The warm, attentive staff will go the extra mile to meet your needs; the iron wasn’t working, they sent me a brand new one on the spot! There’s a gym, a pool, and a mini market where you can find water, drinks and snacks.

Very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, sheets had blood stains and other stains like they never been washed. Switched rooms and had the same results! First and last time coming here

The hotel's ambience is good. The pool is also good as it also has a water slide along with the pool. It's open till 10pm. But the breakfast is not up to the expected mark. I mean there was literally nothing to eat except for eggs and waffles. After a few mins or so the person from the kitchen refilled it. But there is nothing like hashbrowns or chocolate syrup for waffles. Also out of the two waffle makers only one was working hence a queue started to form at the waffle making station. That's the only problem I've found rest all is gud and up to the mark.

Nice large guest room, although the air condition was noisy! The breakfast buffet was good the following morning. The free parking is wonderful!

This was my 3rd and final stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites North Edmonton. This is the only Fairfield I have not got a complimentary upgrade to a suite. I am a Marriott Bonvoy member and stay quite frequently. As a matter of fact other Marriott's have given me an upgrade on my first stay. This hotel does not care about repeat business or loyalty. This hotel is not very convenient compared to other hotels downtown yet I chose to stay there. I dont find the staff very attentive, there is no hot tub at this property which really ridiculous. Those are the reasons for the low rating. I dont intend to stay at this property again. I worked in the Kelowna Fairfield for 3 years so I know what is possible with upgrades etc. I have become a loyal member of Marriott because I love the brand and their standards. Will NOT recommend this property. Install a hot tub!

Staying here for 5 nights and no complaints. Hotel is in good shape, staff are friendly, breakfast is decent. There are also a few restaurants and a mall within walking distance should you feel the need to get out of your room for a bit.

The gym is good enough for my purposes (a couple of treadmills, an elliptical, and some dumb bells) and they have a pool with a water slide that the kids seem to enjoy.

We got a room on the street side of the building but it is still quiet.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Amazing staff! Clean rooms! And they provide a free breakfast! Prices are reasonable

My daughter was getting married Thanksgiving weekend. The staff and manager at the hotel were incredible. The rooms were great but the service was next to none. Great hotel, great staff. I will let everyone know that this is where to stay in Edmonton.

Best hotel in town. Our organization puts up all our travelling visitors in this hotel. Never disapointed, and no complaints from our visitors. Excellent and accomodating service, very reasonable prices, and the general manager Vinod is the best. Highly recommend this hotel.
