Their food was tasty and fresh. Service was also good. Didn’t have to wait too long for the food to serve despite of pretty busy time (for both dine in and takeout). Only thing they should focus on is the atmosphere and cleanliness.
Last week i went with my wife the food had bug in the veggie beryani so we called the server and we decided to leave and yet the rude server had me pay a bill of 50$ for a food we barely touched that had bug cooked in it. I ll will not forgive you for that 50$ ever. Please do not eat here.
Alright so yesterday we went for early dinner, found out they don’t have cold water. 2nd there’s bug hanging right above our table, which later staff was trying to remove, 3rd after 3 time repeating the order she forgot our biryani, asking from different servers she said they don’t even know. Over all wasn’t a great experience because of the poor services skills,
The food is amazing but there is definitely is issues with the service. I accidentally used a company card to make a purchase and then they completed refused to refund me that transaction. This caused me a lot more hassle in comparison to the effort they could have made to refund the one card and let me pay with my personal card.
We are regulars at Faisal’s, the food is really good, worth every penny, the only issue we have it’s a little spicer than what we’d like, that’s a personal preference though. The servers however always seem to be stressed and interactions with them isn’t of a hospitality feel. Overall always good experience when dining.
True taste of home made stew and kabab It might not be the best spot for this treasure but definitely i mean definitely try it. I go there from exact opposite side of the city. I personally love the Pulak mutton. The only mild one is afghan tilka my kids love it. به نظر من بهترین غذای شبیه به ایرانی موجود در کلگری. دوستان فارسی زبان حتما دسر خوشنامش رو چک کنید. اسمش بده ولی خیلی خوشمزه اس
Be cautioned about biryani. Visited the place during the lunch time, asked about the freshness of mutton biryani, 'very fresh' was the answer. I am a biryani enthusiast and knows every bit about it. That particular biryani was not a biryani at all. They had boiled rice and they mixed it with mutton curry and served. They did not even bothered to properly heat it up. I raised my dissatisfaction to the server and the person at the counter, but of no use, instead they blamed me that the biryani is perfect and I know nothing about biryani.
We were visiting from TO in summer and ended up here for lunch. We ordered grilled fish, daal mash, chicked seekh Kabab and tandoori naan/roti and loved every dish. I've been back here a few times since then, and had same great experience.
I ordered a platter. Superb taste. Good service. Good pricing. Kabab were so yummy. Just the wooden tray was not clean in which they had put the BBQ plate. Overall good experience. I recommend going Faisal Kabab. 2nd floor is decent and good sitting for families.
This place used to be the best, but not anymore. I heard they changed the cook and food is garbage now. We tried on this Saturday night and a complete disappointment, their Biryani was like we were eating white rice no taste. Before this the owner would make food and it was delicious. Sad they have started to lose customers. Will not go there anymore and wont recommend anyone.
Wonderful authentic Pakistani food, with a very desi Atmosphere (In the sense it reminds you of Pakistan). The food has excellent quality, and don’t forget to order a couple of Kheers for your table.
This can not be called a restaurant. Poor service, the poor Swati g arrangement, food is not even warm. If rooti is warm, curry is cold and served in a totally non professional manner. Plates are dirty and their corners are broken. Management gets posted fake positive reviews, never believe in those and dot waste your money and time by going to this restaurant. Try some where else. This is the worst restaurant I ever visited.
This is hole in the wall type restaurant. Excellent food - the BBQ platter and kabab are must try. The curry and butter chicken are really good. Not too salty or greasy. The naan bread is good but not the best. Coming from a neighborhood with lots of Indian restaurants, totally surprised and blown away with how good the food is! The price is also very reasonable and food service pretty fast. It seems the restaurant was under-staff and one non-kitchen staff has to do everything.
We spent half an hour trying to call this location to place an order. We called approximately 20 times and every time someone would pick up, not say anything, and then immediately hang up or put us on hold. This is extremely disappointing as I am a common patron of this restaurant, but if the staff don’t care enough to even pick up the phone, it is not worth my time anymore. If you are not available to take orders, post it online or tell us on the phone so that your customers do not waste their time.
So far I had few visit and one take way order. Food was excellent and the service was awesome. I have not seen many have such a constant good quality and service. I have my own food business but still I have strongly recommend their food. Specially kebab platter.
Big takeout order again today, again wonderful. Very busy with people picking up orders. Staff were cheerful and efficient. Best pakistani food in the city.
Stopped in for takeout today. It was very busy, but our order was ready in good time. We got lots of good spicy food, for a very reasonable price. Now a year later we went for dinner. We were lucky to get a table. Compared to the last 3 Indian restaurants we were at recently, this is by far the best. Food was wonderful, spicy, aromatic, especially the Tikka Fish. Service was fine. Atmosphere is very like India or Pakistan. And the price was the best of all. This will be our regular place from now on!
I ordered chicken biriyani here. It was really disappointing. No evidence of any biriyani spices instead tasted like rice and chicken mixed with tomato purée. I heard this place is good for kababs and I hope they don’t disappoint me on that. Also, the staff was not friendly.
This place is really good especially the Tandoori Fish Tikka, the BBQ platter and so on. Food is really good and delicious. Price is cheap when you compare it to the other Restaurants that have the same menus. I highly recommend this branch over the other branches like Fatima and Fahad since the price is slightly different.
I love thier food but thier poor customer service forced me to write this review. To be sepecific the guys on the counter who answers the phone and who takes the order in person.i must say very very very rude customer service. Dont even have any patience to take order. It has happened to me more than 5 times. They will answer the call and will hang up if you ask some guidance or help with menue so unprofessional.
This was a mistake! Chicken curry was good (hence the 2 stars). Chicken masala dry and hard (overcooked). Can’t call that stuff biryani. Not even pulao.
The food was good, tasted authentic, but the staff isn't polite. We phoned to place an order and the guy said you need to decide first and then call as we are very busy. How rude that he wasn't even willing to listen.
Very good food, they never seem to disappoint with the taste of their delicious food. Giving them 4 stars because the bread is always a little burnt I think it can be done better. Would highly recommend.
Very authentic pakistani food. We ordered chicken korma and sheekh kababs, very flavourful and tasty. The naans were kind of chewy, can work on that. Will try other dishes in future
Good food! Most of the resturants do not maintain their food quality but its not the case with Faisal Kabab house. Their food is delicious and serving size is good and staff is quick and very helpfull (in making good choices)
Great food, quick and friendly service. I highly recommend the Ginger chicken. Compared to other Indian restaurants, I have found that the prices here are very reasonable. Food quality is top notch
Excellent food! Best example of Pakistani cuisine in Calgary.but everything else is horrible.the 3 stooges could run this restaurant better.bad service everytime.also the ambiance could be improved since it's this busy.
Elegantly designed and decorated to provide both casual and semi-fine dining this place offers a variety. Platter is good so is Karhai but chana dish needs some attention. Servers and management are equally good to all guests.
Great food, better service than before but had to wait for half an hour to get the food. But the taste of food was worth the wait. Better customer service than my previous visit.
Nice little lunch spot that is quiet on weekdays. Their daily lunch special for $10 is very well priced, and has great flavors. We tried the butter chicken, paneer, rice, and naan. I would recommend all of them.
By far my favourite place for Pakistani/Indian food. Great portions. The food is so fresh and tasty. Great service and tends to be noisy and that is the way I like it. Keep up the great work.
