Pretty much what you would expect at a Famoso location. A good place to go if you are wanting pizzas and pastas. One suggestion I have is for them to include more vegetables in kids' menu items.
Service was great but the food was not The wings are not it 0/5 They are not crispy or saucy Pizza was alright but probably best to go for a more plain one like just cheese Tuscan chicken pizza 1/5 The bread appetizer was good though 4/5
A gorgeous pizzeria serving the delightful pizza pie that we all know and love - in a way you've likely never had it before. Famoso presents their Neapolitan style pizza in an extremely authentic, original Italian way; the way pizza was originally intended to be as it was invented in Naples.
For people like me who don't travel much, this is likely to be the closest thing to real Neapolitan style pizza I'll ever get, and I can't say enough good things about it.
The ingredients are so fresh, so flavorful and so incredibly delicious. And everything is cooked in an authentic Italian bell oven. This restaurant is a testament to why pizza has stood the test of time. If pizza was like this right from its beginnings, it's no wonder we're all still eating it to this day.
The only downside to eating at Famoso is that once you have a pizza here, you'll never be able to enjoy a pizza anywhere else.
Great service does not outweigh the most mediocre Italian food we have ever tasted. Yes, there is vegan cheese available, and I even took a pic which *disappeared* as I was about to post this, but it was sad. Tasteless carbs. My partner had whatever pasta he had, which was disappointing, and even the wine he had was barely palatable after the far too strong (aka gross) margarita he ordered. The margarita came in a short glass, which was odd and not nearly big enough.
I can only review the front desk as we ordered out. We were traveling with our dog. Super friendly. My husband and I ordered the meatball sandwiches. Omg I'm still thinking about them. The meatball were so good and the sauce was delicious. The sandwiches were huge I made pasta with the leftovers that night for supper. Can't wait for our next trip to Jasper we will definitely go back to this place!
Came here looking for a good coffee. We arrived at closing time, but were served very politely and well, and in addition to the cappuccino we had a delicious tiramisu. The table next to us was very complimentary about the pizza.
Great atmosphere, good food, stop here and be pampered!
My boyfriend and I had a fantastic experience at Famoso pizza in Jasper. As vegans, we were delighted to find they offered vegan cheese, and it opened up a world of pizza possibilities for us. We decided to try the margarita pizza with pineapple and vegan cheese.
The first thing that struck us was the delightful flat crust, which was not only delicious but also foldable, making it easy to savor every bite. Although we opted for takeout and didn't dine inside, the vibe that greeted us when we entered was inviting, and the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked pizzas filled the air.
If you're in Jasper and looking for a pizza place that caters to vegan preferences without compromising on taste, Famoso is the place to be. We'll definitely be returning for more of their mouthwatering vegan creations.
After having terrible service at another restaurant on the same street, we were so grateful to have amazing service at Famoso! I ordered the Tomato soup (my favorite!) And a pizza to share with the table. Our server was lovely and the atmosphere was ambient and cozy. Food and drinks came out quickly. Thank you again!
Came here for dinner one night while visiting Jasper with my family. This is my second visit here, both times the food and services were great. Highly recommend to anyone who's craving for pizza while in Jasper. They close late as a lot of restaurants close early in Jasper.
The Pizza here is okay! They leave the crust soft and chewy and some of it lacks flavor. Only go if you dont have other choices and the kids only want Pizza
My family enjoyed their pizzas, but I had a gluten free pizza crust and it was among the worst I've had; very floury base that dried out my mouth on each bite. There weren't enough toppings to make up for the dryness.something I highly recommend they change if they have to keep the dough recipe.
It was akin to eating floury cardboard, but tougher.
Otherwise, a nice atmosphere (great normal pizzas) and decent service.
