Things I appreciate about FBC.
Solid preaching from the Bible and a great team of qualified elders, as well a group of men being trained up to study God's word and preaching it. Verse by verse preaching generally here. I love especially how Pastor Jason isn't afraid to speak up about how the text applies to the reality of what Christians are facing, while also having a great sense of humor too.
A wealth of spiritually gifted and mature believers actively serving through the entire service (in the spotlight and behind the scene) on Sundays. I'm very encouraged by the multitude of godly men serving here as well. The church needs godly men who are willing to lead. There is a lot of growth happening in discipleship but also in numbers of people coming here. I like the vision for life group that's happening here. I think it's important to get plugged into a life group since there are so many new faces and I wouldn't want to see anyone falling through the cracks.
The people here are very welcoming and love to gather through the week. A great family of Christians to practice the "one another's" with. I'm new to this city and have built a number of good friendships with the ladies here in a very short period of time. I am so thankful to God for what He is doing at FBC and look forward to what God has planned through this local body of believers.
