I went here recently with my Son as he was on the hunt for a game (which they didn’t have) and was rather disappointed with the place.

There were 3 staff there who looked at us when we entered the space and the whole time the dude behind the till was on his phone.

I like to browse through the games however this store looks like a random storage space more than a shoppable experience. There’s several glass cabinet displays which just have random games and items throughout.

Behind the till there was a sea of boxes of yet to be displayed products. The vibe of the space was just messy.

That being said if you like to hunt for classic games this isn’t the place to go, they had boxed copies of SNES games for $400.00 that you usually find on marketplace for a fraction of the price. One of these SNES games was a bootleg version.

Cannot recommend.

Owner sold me an incomplete item without informing me that it was incomplete - I was not allowed to open the box prior to purchase and it was not noted anywhere in the display. When I attempted to return the item the following day due to being incomplete, I was only able to get store credit. This is not in line with other store policies as the owner will tell you. I would not come back due to the dishonest practices.

Workers are nice and it has a good inventory to classic to modern games and systems, very under rated store.definitely deserves a visit. (i like the membership options that they have)

This store is crazy in a bad way. $40 to even give my controller to their repair tech for him to give me a quote, then if I'm not happy with the quote they'll refund the $40, and if I'm happy with the quote then the $40 gets taken off the repair costs. I'M NOT PAYING $40 TO GET A QUOTE, I DON'T CARE IF ITS REFUNDABLE OR NOT. I DON'T HAVE $40 TO PAY FOR A QUOTE. QUOTES SHOULD BE FREE, THEN THE CUSTOMER SHOULD PAY IF THEY WANT THE SERVICE. WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY TO EVEN BE TOLD HOW MUCH MORE I HAVE TO PAY.

About 2 years ago I was having issues with the bottom screen of a 3ds XL and brought it in for repairs - costed about $150 and just a few weeks ago it has already stopped working. I was told their warranty only lasts 6 months. The system hasn’t been dropped or stored improperly.how can the original screen last over 8 years and the repair last less than 2? I’m quite disappointed. The selection of games they have is great but I would not recommend the repair service to anyone.

Edit: I would like to clarify that I understand that the warranty is over and they won’t repair it for free - that is understandable. I also understand that 2 years would be a lot for warranty so I get that as well. I’m simply disappointed that a repair I spent a considerable amount of money on as a gift to someone didn’t even make it to the 2 year mark. The repair clearly was not sufficient enough as it’s the same problem they were paid to fix.

First time there today definitely a place to hit up for hard to find game items. Will be back for sure. Also buddy there was very helpful.

Sold them some N64 games for an OK price, but then went to NexWave with the rest of my stuff & they payed way better.

Really good guys there. Friendly, fairly knowledgeable
They may not take in your games that night (generally, due to over-stock), but keep trying.they say once a month, or so. They'll also take in 'dated' games (nhl '19 for example), unlike OTHER places. Final Boss is always my first stop on any 'game day'

Super nice staff, always super chatty, and such a huge selection of games and collectibles. Gonna be my go to gaming shop from now on.

Only recently found this place while looking for some old ps3 games I've been dying to play, once I arrived at the store I was very happy! They had such a great selection plus tons of the games I needed at great prices. Not only did I end up buying some games I also ended up purchasing the membership which is solid for the price. 20$ and you get so many perks for the year! More trade value for bringing in items, discount on majority of the products! I'll continue to bring my business here and I suggest many others to give it a shot!

The store is okay, has an organized layout, depending on the games you want you maybe have to crouch for a period while browsing. I bought a couple n64 games, prices were a bit higher then other places down the road but not unreasonable either. One of the copies of RR64 didn't work, so I had to take it back, I wasnt too thrilled with the one employee Kyle's attitude "did you clean it" was my first question with a fair bit of hostility and body language change.yeah dude. I cleaned it, not to mention when I bought the game you Kyle.you cleaned it with a cotton swab and alcohol. I did the same, how many more times shall we clean it in hopes it worked? Did you not test the game bro?
Thankfully Jag was in (i assume the owner or manager) he told Kyle to relax and have another monster (i joke) but he did tell him to relax and said it happens and told me to look for another game while he took care of the paper work.what do you know, they had another copy of RR64 that I gladly took, and Jag gladly did the exchange and I have been able to actually play the game these last few nights, awesome! Thats what we all want to do right? Play games! I will give them another try but I will probably call ahead to make sure Jag is in for the quality customer service!

Sold me a broken remote and refused to return it even though I had the receipt. Save yourself the trouble and just go to Walmart. This place is awful.

Despite the on-going pandemic, I wasn't sure if game console repairs especially for last gen consoles were available or not. When I got an email back from them regarding repairs especially for a PS Vita I bought used which had a non-working R button, I decided to go with Final Boss Video Games as they were the nearest location with repair services to me. When I visited with my PS Vita, I noticed that I was the only customer there which would make sense as this was during the pandemic. Anyway, the repair process took roughly a week which was reasonable (I was also fine with that as I also own a PS Vita TV as well.) and despite the pricing of it as it included a deposit, I'm extremely happy that I can use the R button for my JRPG gaming needs! Having said that, I'm one very happy customer and will definitely come back!

My experience here has been both good and awkward. I have bought decent priced Xbox games here before and everything went smooth, however one night I came in looking for a used copy of Luigi's Mansion 3. The man working (Caucasian, overweight with glasses) told me they only had brand new copies which is fair. When I was about to leave he told me that Luigi's Mansion is getting discontinued this month and told me that if I don't buy it now that I wont see it again in any store. The next day I go into EB games and ask the staff there about Luigi's Mansion being discontinued and about the employee working at Final Boss Video games and they told me he was trying to coax me into buying from them. Well just last week I bought this game from EB games because of this blatant lie and probably won't be coming back here because of this.
