I lodged my claim on a Sunday just before midnight. FirstOnSite, McRae Fisher, called me early Monday morning to assess the damage. Gave me an ETA and he was there promptly. Assessed and explained the process.
I would also like to commend Paul, not sure of his last name. He came several times. He first came in with 2 gentlemen, whom I presumed were still new in the job, as he was showing them how to do the job. The guys came in by themselves a few times and they were an exact replica of Paul's high standards. Good on you. He always called to give an ETA everytime and never has he been 5 minutes out. FirstOnSite, he is a keeper

We recently had water damage in our house and our insurance company gave us a choice of 2 companies to contact. We choose firstonsite. McRae Fisher contacted my husband and explained everything to him very professionally what the next steps will be. Through this process, my husband got in touch with him many times with questions and McRae was very patient and calm. They started working on our home right away. They are very efficient.

Your staff were friendly and efficient. The initial repair work was handled very well. The final restoration work took longer than expected. We are happy with the quality of the work done.

Our basement flooded due to a burst pipe in the yard. FirstOnSite was extremely quick to respond to my insurance claim and showed up in the middle of the night during the emergency to get started on containing and cleaning immediately. Everyone from the FirstOnSite team (Jojo, Sammie, Christian, just to name a few) were amazing to deal with, professional, calm demeanor, and took to the time to listen and answer our concerns. They worked closely to with insurance company to get the best value and repair for our home possible. This team consistently went above and beyond, and we were so amazed by the quality of work, time and energy they put into getting us back in our home and professional communication with all aspects of the team. When an emergency happens, this is the team you want.

After a leak in our kitchen, FirstOnSite quickly came to our assistance to remedy our situation. It was a multi-layered project, and we are overall pleased with each level of service received. Although, there was leftover cleanup from the abatement crew - tape pieces left on the wall/windowsill/cabinets, we had to scrape and clean ourselves - its minimal in the grand scheme of it all, but worth noting. The flooring crew was great and installed faster than anticipated. We'd like to highlight a worker we had in for our ceiling repair/texture/paint - Matt, he was outstanding with his service and skill, very friendly, respectful with keeping a mask on at all times and always cleaned up after himself. We highly recommend working with Matt and FirstOnSite! Thanks guys!

We have a flooding incident in my apartment last year and my insurance company contracted FirstOnSite Calgary for taking care of my personal property (moving and etc.). People are very professional and they handle my property very well they have a very organized packing and unpacking process. We used FOS for content removal after a flood event, and then moving back of the content. Sammie Anog and Isabel Gutierrez at FOS, and their crews were top-notch on service.

Our contents were moved out and stored in an organized manner, and then the move back was a breeze, mainly because of their professional attitude and can-do approach.

I suffered severe damage in my house due to an accident. My insurance contacted FirstOnSite to help with the debris removal and item salvagement. I had a very good experience working with their on-site teams, very efficient, very professional and extremely careful with my surviving personal items. They finished the job before schedule and under budget. I hope I don't need to use their services again, but if I do, I would recommend them without doubt.

FirstOnSite is looking after our water/floor insurance claim. Sammie and her crew came in on time, wrapped all our furniture, moved it to our garage and a container. Then they taped plastic on all our windows and covered all lights and appliances. This was all done in one day. The entire crew worked extremely hard and were a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Sammie and her competent staff for emergency mitigation work.

Brendan MacKay, Project Manager at First on Site, took care of everything following a leaking dishwasher incident at our house that damaged multiple rooms. Brendan was always highly professional, very straight-forward and super responsive. I particularly appreciated his patience with us as we made decisions about how to restore our house. The tradesmen that he brought into the house were all excellent as well and we were very impressed with the entire team. Thank you so much Brendan and team for putting our house back in order! IF THERES IS A NUMNER BELOW 1, that's the score I'll give this company. Not only did they do a poor job in restoring our home from a simple grease fire, they also failed to return our personal belongings. The issue was escalated to their manager, William Elliot, but he was as dismissive as everyone else in his company. If your insurance company refers you to first onsite, DEMAND FROM THEM A DIFFERENT ONE. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE SERVICE THEY RENDER AND THEY WILL MISPLACE ITEMS YOU VALUE MOST. PICTURES TO FOLLOW.

Following a water damage at our home, FirstOnSite was assigned to take care of the project. From salvage, restoration to the final renovation, their crew did a awesome job. The project manager Shawn Knowler and his team were professional, knowledgeable, organized, and approachable to questions and concerns whenever i had during the work. Reflecting on the experience I am grateful to you all - Shawn, Sammie, Sarah, etc. Great people! Great service! Highly recommended.

I recently had work done. Was I elated with the service I received? No, but they did their job. With that being said, it was difficult at times to connect with the project manager and required multiple attempts on my part to contact them and the office. Recommendation: have clear timelines/expectations for work and response to emails. I would also do a daily check-in of the progress of work done, as work was not fully completed at my house (even though it was indicated it was) and required multiple emails to the project manager to get the work completed.

Very poor cleanup which could cause a damaged furnace. My main floor hardwood floor were replaced after a water damage about 2.5 years ago, noticed when changing my furnace filters i had fine wood dust in the slot which had not occurred prior to the water damage floor replacement, but did not think much about it thinking it was just a little volume of saw dust. Yesterday i removed one hot air register on the main floor located right above the furnace in the basement. To my horror i found pieces of wood over 6 ins long in the vent (See picture below). This means the workmen just dropped these wood splits and shaving down the hot air vent. This is very irresponsible since it can cause a possible furnace damage.

Terrible experience. Low quality work. Very difficult to communicate with. If you value your home do not let these guys near it.
