Great budget gym, has everything that an average gym goer needs. Clean and friendly staff. 11/10 would recommend.

First time being member, the rate is affordable but there are few things I think they should improve on.
I switched from Planet Fitness SherwoodPark, for distance. This Fit4 Less location is good.
Enough equipments, some broken machines need repair but no one notices and put sign. I had to get the front desk attention next day to put signs.
No water station in the entire gym, sucks. Washroom is congested and lockers are not that big. No exhaust fans or ceiling fans to keep the air flow, pretty dry and warm all the time.

Recently joined this gym and have nothing but great things to say! The staff are pleasant and friendly. The equipment is always clean. A clean relaxing environment. I really love the massage chairs:)

Not the best. One day I counted 12 machines out of order. Not always the cleanest. No water fill stations so you have to fill in the bathroom. When I first joined, the machine wouldn’t read my card, so I had to pay $21 to do a drop in workout. They said the next day it would be refunded but I still haven’t received the $21 back (been almost a month).

Last straw for me was I showed up this morning and some type of alarm was going off and after I talked to another member, seemed to be going off for some time and no one was concerned or leaving? Cancelling my membership tomorrow.

Get what you pay for. Been going here for 6 months. Staff don't seem too excited to be there but place is always clean and not too busy. Has all the equipment you could need and good variety. Some people need to calm themselves on the grunting and remember to wipe equipment. But that's hardly a criticism on the gym itself.

Upon arriving and trying to get my card at the kiosk it wouldn't scan my phone. I tried everything. Finally it managed to scan after ten minutes of Messing with it. There never staff on site when you need them. I left my shoes in my car today went back to grab them and realized you can't scan yourself in twice. You have to wait half an hour to try again. I only had so much time to be there. So I wasted my day driving to the gym to workout because I couldn't even get in. At least one staff member for the entire gym after work hours and weekends would be helpful for situations like this. Or Allow your Paying members to come in and out as needed. Ridiculous. No water fountains. You also can't use the massage chairs during non staffed hours so there's a catch to that. It's really unecessarily difficult.

The staff here is always uplifting.pardon the pun. They do a great job of keeping the place clean and tidy. This is truly a judgment free place.and I feel that the staff genuinely make real connections with everyone that enters.

The manager, Lana, is so wonderful. Lana is so friendly and welcoming to everyone who enters the building. Lana makes personal connections with all of the guests and you can tell how hard of a worker she is. This gym is always spotless due to Lanas high work ethic and positive direction for her employees. Lana is personally the best manager i have ever seen, she goes above and beyond for her job and you can tell shes takes a lot of pride in her work, making this place so wonderful to be at and workout at. This lady deserves a raise!

We looked for a gym with racks and this one has them. This place has everything we need and the staff is so friendly!

This location has equipment that has been out of service since I started coming here back in March 2022.

I left to check out Planet Fitness but they aren’t 24/7 which I liked about Fit4Less. Honestly this Fit4Less location I s not worth it, I regret paying $50 for a membership and want a refund of the equipment isn’t fixed soon.

On oct 19 at 9: 40 pm they broke my lock and stole all my stuff, walet, phone, car keys, everything, and they are shown on camera's, dnt sign at this gym, no enough staff, imagine anyone can buy guest pass, n come in the gym, break into ur locker and steal your stuff, and imagine the locker was cross from the management office, and infront of everyone, cz the lockers are infront the training Salle, and the management didnt call the cops in the same sec, till the manager came 3rd day to give the videos to the cops, so for them to save money by not having enough staff, it cost me thousands of $, stay away from this gym, worst experience ever in my life

Worst gym I ever went to 3-4 machines I wanted to use were broken. No water fountains, everything is cramped together and it was packed. Of course you get what you pay for but I was still suprised at how low quality.

Great gym, great staff, great price, and great 24/7 hours.

Bring your own water bottle. ;)

Overall I think it’s a nice gym for the price however equipment is out of service more frequently and it’s very packed where it’s hard to use machines not related to cardio

For real why is the heat on in the middle of summer.
Seriously invest in some AC or something. Air quality so poor have such a hard time breathing in here.

Have to cancel the subscription twice for personal reasons, both times go through such an ease with super polite staffs

Gym itself is fine. However, staff are not enforcing proper covid-19 restrictions. They scan vaccination QR codes, but rarely if ever check IDs. Proper masking is also not enforced and I have seen several staff members wear masks incorrectly.

For how cheap this gym is it's really good. Floors uneven in some places and it can get sorta crowded but you get what you pay for.

DO NOT buy the black card membership, which gives you 24 hours access. NONE of the Fit4Less locations are open 24 hours, so you are giving them money for NOTHING. All the other 24 hour clubs are actually open 24 hours. This is a complete rip off. I paid for 24 hour access (Black Card) and have never been able to stay longer than 10pm, which is when they close.

I had lost a lot of weight going to this location (from 300 pounds to nearly 210). The staff were very friendly and cool to chat with, if a machine was broken there'd usually be a second one working right beside it (with a few understandable exceptions), massage chairs and tanning rooms with the right membership. They were 24 hours in a residential area. I had to quit when I moved and they're the only gym I ever dealt with that didnt make quitting a nightmare. If I had access I'd go straight back to them.

Because of the low cost there are no water fountains or showers - fill your water at the sink and - realistically - shower at home. If you're okay with this then its no issue. I'm happier with this than paying an extra $30 a month for facilities I don't use

Not a bad gym to go to. It seems a little dark in my opinion if they had larger windows more natural light would come in and I wouldn't feel like I'm in prison.

Other than that the location isn't bad it's fairly close to me. The equipment is okay.

24/7 gym! I love certain times when the gym is empty. Lots of equipment and the workers are so chill & kind. I find that around 8-9am is not as busy and 9: 40-11: 00pm is more empty than during the day.

Great sized gym! Worried about it being busy? Don't worry, this gym has enough cardio equipment you will never wait and they have about 3 of everything for free weights and machines. Tons of benches and squat racks. They also have a 30 min express workout section, tanning, change rooms, massage chairs and massage water beds. No water fountains but bathrooms have high taps so people can fill up any size bottles.

Great gym! Looked around for a long time for a new gym before stumbling upon this one, great prices for membership and if you get the black card you get access to free tanning and massages! The only inconvenience is that there is not water fountain but you can just fill your bottle in the washroom or I’ll bring two bottles and there are no showers which I am also fine with as it’s close to home for me! The staff are super friendly as well including the manager, she was very helpful answering any questions I had in regards to equipment! Definitely worth trying out:)

Having 24/7 access is phenomenal, especially for such a great price.

Staff are great, and fellow members don't gawk.

I feel safe and comfortable working out, even at my super beginner level.

I requested a cancellation of my membership within a 10 day period. I began working out at Fit4Less at the start of August, and gave a 30 day cancellation notice at the end of the month. I did this with alongside with my buddy. However he was able to get his membership cancelled and refunded, however my membership was not. Upon request for proof, they said they no longer had proof of a hand written paper that I requested to cancel my subscription. Quite disappointed in the management.

Its perfect for why I signed up but they really need to upgrade on the stepper machine there always seems to be something wrong with them.

Not happy about the new Schedule. Most of us gets out of work at 4: 30pm. Next schedule is 6pm? Common.you want us to wait over an HOUR long at the parking lot? Why did you change it? Please put the 5: 30pm schedule back!

Had some questions before I signup no one picked my calls to answer my questions. I drove to gym so I can look at this gym and talk to staff before I join. Staff took 10-15 mins to answer the door bell and even though I was wearing mask they didn't even let me in, told me to peek through the window and glass door to get idea of gym and visit website to signup as all the information is given online.

Great place to work out. Staff is friendly and is willing to help you out with any questions you may have. Lana the manager is very attentive to the cleanliness the gym.

Schedule is ridiculous. You expect us to book at 4: 30 when we're still on the road from work and make us wait til 6 for the next schedule? Unreal. Any chance of putting the 5 or 5: 30 sched? Can you make the adjustment for your customers please? Thanks

I loved fit 4 less pre covid as it has all the equipment I use for a really good rate plus it was a 24/h gym which was very convenient. Lately, I can't seem to get any bookings at the north location on my way home from work and I can't get a time that works for me I always have to wait an extra hour or so after work just to get in. That is if by luck I am actually able to book any appointment at all. I have really tried to patient with them but its getting to the point were I don't think its worth it anymore. I would rather pay more money and actually get to work out.

The gym is adequate, but the management is not. Lana is absolutely the most miserable woman I've ever had the displeasure of communicating with. I asked the staff to cancel my membership because I was moving, but I unknowingly continued to be charged for months. She asked for 'proof' of request, but it had been months and my inbox/phone log is cleared after 30 days as most are. I had not used the membership the entire time, but that wasn't enough proof. It's frustrating that I have to answer for their mistake. This business is run with zero respect for customers, and the manager will clutch onto your money for dear life if she gets her hands on it. If you wish to go to a gym with fair and competent leadership, look elsewhere.

This is a good gym. It's missing some stuff. But anyone who is looking for a membership here know this (water fountain etc). You can get past this easily. Bring a water bottle. The price is probably the best part. It has all the machines and racks etc that you'll need. I'm actually a fan of the current 'sign up for time slots' method that is being used. I think it really helps control how busy the gym can get.

This is the first time since March I have been back to the gym. Was quite nervous. But all that went away after I spoke to the girl working she reviewed the new rules and told me any questions please ask!
Everyone seemed to be following the rules with cleaning the machines really well after use, masks and keeping distance.
Many machines are taped off or had signs on then to help with distance as well.
So I will now not be nervous about booking another appointment! Felt good to get back to the gym! ‍️‍️

Pretty content with the gym for the cost. I wish they had at least one stepmill other than the steppers, especially since they max out in difficulty at a level too easy for me. It would also be nice if there were just a couple more foam rollers and yoga mats.

I love it here! I canceled my membership due to my work having a small gym but after going there and hating it I will be coming back to Fit4Less because I've never had to wait for any machines or any equipment and love the staff!

Cheap gym membership, decent equipment, but kind of busy. Best to go during off times before 4pm on weekdays otherwise it gets packed. A few machines require constant maintenance and the lack of change rooms kinda bums me out, but for the price I'd say it's fair.

Definitely recommend this gym if you're strictly in it to work out and go straight home, AND if you're schedule permits you to come before the evening.

Pretty sick place. I got a black card and I wish I could use the massage chairs and hydro massage since I work out at night and have no other time. Is there a way for me to use at night? For example like why not just make it like tap your card instead of the access code?

Friendly and helpful staff. Good atmosphere. Well equipped facility with nicer and newer equipment than other more expensive gyms. Would love to see a standing calf raise machine installed as well as a water fountain.

Love the space enjoy the empty gym times early in the am or in the late evenings. Will mention that yes on occasion very few amounts of equipment is out of service. But I know from experience its not the Gyms fault. The reason for this 9/10 times is ppl treating the equipment very badly and not treating it with care. Which sucks at times. A mb example being: slamming equipment because a set weight was to heavy, no spotter just in case etc. All round love the gym and if ever needed get great advice from the owner when she's there amd staff if anything happens. Friendly and. A safe place to be.

Great gym! The prices are great and the staff/management are incredible. This place is SPOTLESS! As for people complaining about contracts.don't sign a contract if you're going to complain that you can't cancel your membership before the contract is over. They really knock it out of the park here!

I joined the gym as a new member and I haven’t been to a gym before and I have no idea. When I enrolled I did ask the person what if I need any assistance and he mentioned to feel free to ask the staff member there at the front. And when I started going to gym I was hesitant so I asked the staff to help me, but the girls at the front desk were making fun and laughing at each other and one of the girls also mentioned that
“ they’re there only as receptionist and they can’t really help”. I’m jus paying my membership but I am very discouraged to go to that gym again. I’m looking for a non staff time or looking for another location.

Great gym, open space. Variety of machines. For the price i have to admit it’s more than expected. I’ve seen gym cost way more and not even as efficient. True there is rush hour when many people at the gym but for example I can’t start blaming the roads for having traffic around 4: 30pm because everyone get off work at the same times.

Love this place. I go there every morning on weekdays. Friendly staff. Plenty of all your equipment needs.
Bathroom is spotless and smells good always as opposed to spa lady.
Reason I am taking one star off is the TV Chanels they play every morning. Food network! For those who workout mornings, you will never miss barefoot contessa show. Come on, the struggle is real for most of us.

This gym has amazing equipment, is very cheap and even during busy times it is very slow compared to the city of Edmonton facilities

I love the price which includes tanning and massage chairs PLUS the water massage chairs! They have the latest equipment for a great workout. If any of the equipment needs repairs, it is done quickly. I love this Fit4Less location the best from any other I have experienced in Edmonton.

Surprisingly good gym with all the equipment you'd need. No showers and no water fountains, which is odd, but something I got used to. Never have to wait for equipment. Price is some of the lowest I've ever seen (12$ a month for their premium option).

Truely fine club the greatest gym i ever been to a year ago i was of weight 299 pounds fit for less has given me hope n happiness im now down to 270 other gyms i never cared for if your looking for great place to workout its right here thanks to fit for less my life has forever changed this club is my happines n joy in life

Low cost for low maintenance work. It seems everyday no matter how packed it in in there. They have a constant rotation of equipment out of service. I'm hoping by writing this review they might ACTUALLY have equipment up and running in a reasonable time.

Today i visit fit4less londonderry first time during staff hours and i feel like i have been racially profiled by the one of the staff members. After i done my workout i was sitting there changing my shoes and i saw whoever leaving the gym staff was saying goodbye or have a good-day etc. And when i was about to leave she said have a good-day to the person in front of me and then she look at me and then look away and said good-day to person behind me. Just because i look different wear something you dont wear i am still a human being unfortunately its not the first time this happened to me but may be i hope by letting the management know about help to prevent this happening to someone else.

Though this gym is very cheap, the cons out match the pros by miles. Here, I’ll even make a detailed list (reference for those who has never been here) :

Pros:
1.cheap.
2.open 24/7 (most of the time, sometimes it’s just randomly closed)

Cons:
1.uneven flooring all throughout the gym.
2.benches are slippery, hard and narrow with very bad rack height settings.
3.squat racks are complete rubbish.
4.2 Power cages, one with a broken safety, other one has a huge lump on the ground (uneven flooring) where it’s placed.
5.free candy by the door and pizza from time to time (isn’t that a wonderful idea for a gym.)
6.one yearly contract unless you get the black card for an extra payment (but at that point is the price still worth it?)
7.chalk isn’t allowed in this gym (bars are rubbish too)
8.dumbbells only goes up to 75lb
9.no water fountain (you need to get water from the bathroom faucets)
10.alarms for weights dropped too hard (cmon it’s a gym.)
11.cannot enter again for 30 minutes after swiping your card (if you forget something in your car, you can’t get back in for 30 minutes.)

In conclusion, this is basically planet fitness.

Tons of space to exercise in. Love that it's 24 hours and that the equipment appears to be relatively new and very well maintained.

The Gym is good and clean definitely no judgment and feel free while working out, I go to this gym every time and the staff are friendly.

I like the gym itself for its convinence and affordability but the staff stay huddled in the office gossiping anytime I have been there during staffed hours.

Pros - Great location for the price. Not to busy when i go which isn't during peak time 5-7pm. Lots of dumbbells, Friendly staff, Open 24/7. It is within a mall so you can grab a booster juice or meal right after. Lockers.

Cons - no water refill stations.

Justifiable cons in my opinion due to price -

The lock out policy sucks, i forgot my phone on my car seat and with the location being in londonderry I stressed for 30mins. Atleast make it 5 or 10 mins. But this location is better than the capilano location because i feel less cramped and theres a few more machines of the same type, more racks and now they have a mini area for virtual cycling and an area side from the rest of the gym that u can do virtual fitness classes. It is pretty busy during peak hours, i like to go later in the afternoon when its less busy. Ive experienced a few machines to be broken, which sucks but it is what it is for the price.

Not cheap enough to put in revolving doors, but Still too cheap for WiFi. We do we still have to get water from the damn bathroom? It's nasty

I love this gym! Low cost, and great staff that are always willing to answer questions you may have. If you are wanting to workout independently (without a trainer) at a decent price i recommend this gym 100%!

Great selection of machines and free weights, with a price that is 1/5th what you'd pay at LA Fitness or World Health. Being open all hours is incredibly convenient too! Zero to complain about here!

It’s not for hardcore workouters like heavy deads and stuff because if you smash the weights or make noises the staff/ manager won’t be happy, dumbbells only go up to 75lbs but for the price is the best choice I think. It’s a big and clean place, enough machines, benches and squat racks and not tooo busy. They have massage and hydro massage chairs, tanning room but they don’t have showers if you want to plan going work after your workout.
