The gym is so clean and the staff is always nice. The owners are always friendly and welcoming. They care about your opinion on things. I definitely recommend this gym.

This gym is Calgary's best kept secret. It has amazing equipment (including a hack squat and other machines most gyms lack), it’s very clean, the staff are very friendly, very reasonable rates, you don’t wait long for equipment, and it’s 24/7. Thanks 1440! <3

Place itself is really compact and gives you everything you need. Staff are awesome and the community is friendly. The gym is practically never overcrowded, so you can get completely vacant equipment all the time. One of the trainers there, Tamara, wrote a workout plan for me that has been fantastic. Intense, fun, and has been helping me see results really quickly! Definitely worth checking out.

I was recommended to attend at this gym and it did not disappoint. It is well maintained and outfitted with new keyed and dumbbell equipment to satisfy pretty much anyone's workout regimen. The staff is first rate and helpful. The client base is friendly and welcoming. Highest recommendation!

As a fitness enthusiast and part time PT, I’ve been to a lot of gyms. I tried corporate, private, boutique facilities, seen even a wide range of CrossFit gyms, and none matches up to this gym.

There are 3 things I look for when I’m at a new facility: cleanliness, accessibility, and variety.

And this gym hits all three AND more. I visited this location and met with the general manager Ryan, who was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and personable. He gave me a tour of the gym, and provided me a day pass. Normally my workouts are 1.5 hours, but I was there for just about 3 hours. The placement of the machines are meticulously designed, and it was spread out enough where you can comfortably do your leg extensions (for example) and not be distracted by anyone super close to you.

There’s a circuit station (which I haven’t seen before) and allows you to try various movements, all timed in 24 min.

I could go on and on, but needless to say, if you’re a beginner or an advanced athlete, this is a great gym.

Oh and last thing: get a smoothie on your way out. It’s delicious!

Nice gym with decent varieties of quality equipment. Large space and comfortable air quality and temperature. The location is a little bit remote but in general it's a good bang for the buck. Would be nice to have group exercises in a separate room cuz it sometimes limits access to some workout equipment.

Love this gym! This place is amazing, the equipment is completely state of the art, it is VERY clean, never too crowded and the staff including the personal trainers and managers always welcome you with a smile. This gym has more of a family community feel compared to other companies. 10/10 will be coming here for years. As an added bonus they also seem to get the nicest sunrises in the early mornings ️

Rita, Mia and DeCarlo are the best motivators! Rhonda is the queen and all other guys at the desk are amazing. The classes are always fun. My workout crew is very supportive. I love everything about this place. Off course, the coffee at the bakery beside on Saturday mornings is on this amazing list too.

Extremely well kept gym. The staff are always cleaning or organizing areas.

I love the platforms and bumper plates, the turf area is fantastic with lots of fun tools for exercise or stretching.

A very welcoming, friendly and spacious gym filled with all the free weights, cable machines, pin selected and plate loaded machines you need.

This gym has sparked my love for fitness again.

I recently joined this gym after some frustrating experiences with my regular gym with its restrictions on top of restrictions brought on by COVID 19 even after these have been relaxed provincially.

Firstly, it’s open 24x7 with little or no additional restrictions apart from requiring members to show proof of vaccination during initial intake. Wearing masks while exercising is not required. You don’t have to pre-book (for additional fee) every visit. Secondly, perhaps due to its 24-hour window, the gym is seldom busy, thus, there’s no line up for all their equipment. Thirdly, the bathroom is well maintained and kept very clean. Although there’s no sauna, there’s shower facilities in case you need to have one before work. Fourthly, the gym itself is well equipped with updated equipment, always kept clean by all users contributing to their sanitary condition before and after use with the hand towels provided at entry, and sanitizers are strategically placed near the equipment and located around the area. And finally, the staff are very friendly without being overbearing.

I’m very pleased that I found this place. Going to the gym regularly without the additional hassles is good to both my physical and mental health.

This gym has everything from free weights, to machines, a cardio area, spin room and large array of classes from yoga to Zumba. Basically new and absolutely clean.

I´ve been at the 1440 for a little over 6 months now and it is a nice, well equipped gym. It has everything you need for a full body workout. Never full when I go on the morning. With COVID going on and gyms being shut they even offer outdoor, socially distanced spin classes.
Hopefully allowed to open up again soon.

Whenever I'm in Calgary this is my go to gym. Nice atmosphere and good equipment and friendly staff. A lot of decent looking ladies as well.but seriously check this place out if you're in the area.

I’ve been going to 1440 for a couple of weeks now. I work with Barbara King, the personal trainer there and she is absolutely phenomenal. She makes me feel super comfortable, super knowledgeable and gives me a good work out. Super impressed with this gym!
