Great customer service! The service was quick and efficient, I went in and got what I wanted right away then the employees assisted loading it to my vehicle. This is my favourite place to go for fitness equipment!

Reasonable pricing and friendly service. This place is more like a warehouse than a proper store, so it can be hard to find things, but the staff will more than be happy to assist. The only thing that has happened twice to me, is I've gone to pick something up that their website showed as available, but it wasn't. Not a big deal, as both times I was just in the area already. But those that may make the trek out of their, it may be best to phone ahead to inquire.

Went in to grab some kettle bells, they were just unloading the ones we wanted and she went and found them in the pile for us. Wonderful customer service and seemed super knowledgeable. Prices seemed reasonable to us compared to a couple other places. Would recommend!

I went to buy the stealth bench they sell last year for $400. Now they want $650 for the same bench. Hosing people because of the covid thing. Nice staff but they keep jacking up the prices. I bet the owner is driving a Lamborghini by now. I won’t shop here anymore. That’s just driving it to the public.

Was going to purchase a home gym from Fitness Depot.
Found out that they fired all employees who did not risk their life and take the experimental mRNA injection.
I suggest you shop elsewhere.

It's on the far side of town for some. The stock will cover just about anything. I needed a barbell and weights. It was worth the drive.

I remember when these guys had really fair and reasonable prices. Then the pandemic hit and prices literally doubled on nearly all gym equipment. When a guy does this with hand sanitizer on Amazon it’s gouging, when fitness depot does it it’s supply and demand. Was gonna buy a power rack because the Northern Lights stuff is made in Canada. Now I’ll just go to Rogue. I’m seriously looking forward to the day that the pandemic is over and sales drop through the floor for these guys. No excuse.

I have been constructing my home gym as of recently and Fitness Depot had everything I needed and the prices were fair. I checked their stock on their website and made a list of what I wanted to buy. The process of buying everything was super easy, and I paid for everything then and there and brought everything to my car. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. Staff were also very kind and helpful, especially Jesse who rang everything in for me and helped me bring the equipment to my car!

Its weird how much cheaper and better fitness depot is than anyone else. I have bought almost everything I have from them. They are half the price and everything I have got is extremely good quality. Always check here first if you want something. Staff are also extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

It was a great experience dealing with Bryan. He kept me in the loop for a back ordered item and curbside delivery due to COVID could not have been smoother. I will not look anywhere else when I am buying my next piece of equipment.

Do not buy major equipment from this company, once warranty is over they will not make any effort to supply you parts for your machines.

Sandie the manager was awesome to deal with. They were packed when I went in and she did an amazing job of making sure everyone was taken care of. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for equipment.

I have never left a negative review for a company before but this place is the worst. I called the staff to ask if they had something in stock and the lady was very rude and could not get me off the phone fast enough. I only went here because every other store was sold out in Edmonton due to the pandemic. When I came in the store no body was around so I had to wait by the cash register. Finally a worker came and she seemed like she could not be bothered with any questions. She never gave me the price of anything when I asked and after I had told her what I was looking for she loaded up the machine and told me to pay. She came back and threw the weights on the desk and put the receipt on top and told me the rest of the stuff would be by the door and she was off again. They were not even busy and I had to constantly ask her things before she would give me a one word answer. I would never recommend this place to shop even if it was the last place in Edmonton. What a joke of an organization. Learn how to deal with customers.

I had the same experience, and I thought I will look at the reviews, and give my opinion.
It seems like everybody is mad and not happy with the service, you always go there and you wait at the register, the lady shows up, and she can't wait to get rid of you as if she is going to going to give you the weights for free. You can not look around you can not ask questions, she brings you the whatever you asked for, she hands you the receipt and off she goes, like she is on a mission and she is so busy that she does not have time for you. As if she was finding a vaccine for covid at the back. Moral of the story don't go there even if you have to pick up your equipment from Canadian Tire. Stay safe.

Really good pricing on equipment, okay service. I outfitted an entire home gym from here and felt as though the service was impatient and a little rude at times.

Phoned the store and was told that they had 40Lb dumbells in stock, drove 28 kilometers across the city to be told at the til that they've been sold out for awhile now. Fantastic organization!

Placed an order on May 4th, never get shipped and I just received this message from them saying my personal & transaction data was stolen.

Shameful. I bought dumbbells from you guys on December 31st. 2 x15 lbs and 2 x12 lbs. The total was $52 and change. That was less than a dollar a pound. Now I see on the website a 15 lb dumbbell is $30.00. That is a 100% mark up. Taking advantage of the pandemic I see.

Contacted Fitness Depot West for information on a heavy bag suited for me and kickboxing. The lady showed enthusiasm, knowledge and great customer service. She reserved it and I picked it up after work all in the same day. Thank you

We have always returned to fitness depot to purchase small and large eqt for our home gym. The inventory is great value, great prices and the employees are informed on the trends and basics of what we need.

I've been coming to Fitness Depot for many years. They have everything you need from floor to ceiling- literally, I have an entire floor protected with rubber mats.you can't get better home use equipment- aside from being well priced you get the pride and satisfaction of the Northern Lights brand being a Canadian made product.
Sandie and her team have come through time and again for all of my purchases, if you need something just ask. I have found over the years it's important to do the homework on your item before purchasing, it will save you from any disappointments later. That's where Sandie comes in, if you have any further questions on an item after looking into it- she can definitely help fill in the blanks. I haven't had to return a single item- and have them all today.
To date my purchases have included: 3 full benches, squat stands with supports, hack squat/leg press, seated calf raise, leg extension/hamstring curl, seated preacher bench, roman chair, many sheets of rubber flooring, several assorted bars, and an old school pec deck attachment that works great. Many other attachments/gloves/straps and weight plates are available.

Sorry to all reading reviews but I am going to post this until I get a response from management. I tried to return a stationary bike that I purchased only weeks before. The bike is still brand new and not even removed from its box. The thing that angers me the most is the fact that they don't tell you that your purchase is final. You need to read it in the fine print on your receipt which in 99% of cases is when you get home. This to me is a very dirty move in retail and customer service. Please, if you are wavering on a purchase DO NOT buy from Fitness Depot.

Bought the Northern Lights Rack and love it! Sandy and team were very helpful and went above and beyond. I highly recommend you shop there for all your equipment needs.

Great place to grab fitness equipment at a reasonable price. Been using them for a few years. Highly reccomend for anyone.

They were great to deal with! Answered all my questions and were knowledgeable without being pushy. Sandie was fantastic and we will be back to see her for more equipment!

I went online and used the chat feature to ask if the item I wanted was in stock. They said it wasn't at the store close to me (South side) but this one (across town) had 5 units. I drove across town and after waiting 10 minutes for them to check it turns out they hadn't been delivered yet but were showing as available in inventory. Not a very good system and not happy about the wasted trip when I did try to confirm.

I ordered a spin bike I really wanted and before I paid for it they let me know the expected delivery date, January 15th (bought on December 20th). Throughout the process they gave me updates on the delivery. They also called to let me know that the bike I ordered was unavailable now so they upgraded me to the higher model at no cost. I would highly recommend them. They also help load it for me.
