Drove 20 minutes out of my way to the NE location because it said online they had 12lb dumbbells in stock. Surprise! NOT in stock. Waste of my lunch hour.

Website shows product in stock, drive 30 minutes in a snow storm to pick it up only to be told that it is not in stock.

John was awesome! He took us thru all of the treadmill options, with the pluses and minuses, and helped us make an educated decision. His years of experience as a treadmill technician really came through. He was polite and professional, and really good at explaining to my 79 y.o. Dad, how to run the units. A+

Purchased a Bowflex treadmill two years ago for Christmas and after one year, exactly to the date, the treadmill broke! Luckily we bought a three year extended warranty and Flaman did everything in their power, to keep us happy and get us a new treadmill! Thanks guys you're the best!

How disappointing was my visit here this afternoon. The sales person actually had no idea what he was talking about. Did not provide any useful information on which machine are beneficial for which use. I was actually floored they allow him to sell equipment with zero knowledge. I guess that’s my fault and should have done better research on fitness equipment companies. Absolute waste of time and was ready to purchase on the spot but got the insight and help one would have gotten from a toddler.

This was my first visit to the business. Alex the staff person was great and helpful in providing all of my necessary items for the rehabilitation of my son’s ankle as prescribed by the athletic therapist Whitney Dikoume. The pricing of the items is comparable to Amazon or better and the best is that I was provided personal service. Thanks.

Highly recommend! I was in the market for a spin bike and reached out for help making the right choice; there were 4 bikes I was comparing and they were very helpful. I stopped in today the guys had my bike and mat ready to go, loaded it in the car for me and I was out in no time. This is my 4th purchase with Flaman and I’ll be back for my next one.

We purchased a lot of home gym equipment earlier this year to create our own workout space in our basement. From the very beginning we had great communication and direction from the salesperson. Delivery was on time and the crew was great in getting everything set up. We have had to switch out some items and purchase addition ones to make it function perfectly for us. They have always been great to deal with! Great prices, great service, great products!

Alex was extremely helpful and friendly! Extremely knowledgeable and would definitely recommend to come to him for fitness equipment!

I had the pleasure of working with Calvin. He took his time to answer all my questions and went above and beyond to help me make the best decision for paddle boards for this summer. He followed up when the pedal boards were way their and got them delivered my house just in time for the summer. Cannot recommend him enough. If you're looking for a knowledgeable guy to help you find what you need calvin is the guy!

Went in wanting to purchase a weightlifting belt. I had some knowledge but wanted them to explain it to me as if I knew nothing. (To get a fresh perspective).

Right away, they pointed to the velcro strapped one and said "its just more functional". Didnt explain WHY its more functional. Or go over the different features of belts. NEVER even bothered asking me my history with weightlifting/gym etc.

Walked out right away.

I've been to the mall where there are 15 yr old employees that had service better than this.

Train your employees better.

I had a great experience with Flaman fitness recently with getting my own home gym all fitted out. I’ve been googling and searching around for multifunctional trainers for a bit. I will have to say that they carry the best ones. Special thanks to Alex and Calvin for helping me out with choosing equipment, giving great information, being very friendly and helpful.

Go see Calvin. He is awesome to deal with and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend.

I came in from BC to purchase a new exercise bike and found the service to be excellent. After trying at 2 other Flaman outlets, I found the product and service I needed to complete the sale. Calvin was super helpful.

I had a great overall experience, Calvin put up with my constant email questions and kept me up to date with the order status of our exercise bike. The order arrived when they said it would and I was even able to pick it up the day the orders arrived!

Can not say enough great things about Calvin at this location! He was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to set me up with my home gym, and has been a great support going forward. He is extremely knowledgeable and gave me the best prices! Scott and Steve were amazing also-they showed up to my place on time, set up all my equipment within a very reasonable timeframe, were very respectful of my property and did not leave until I was familiar with all they had set up! I ordered a stationary bike through Calvin. He was quick to respond to questions and provide updates on the status of the bike. I would order equipment from Flaman again.

I bought a new treadmill and some other equipment. Calvin was very knowledgeable and great to chat with. I would recommend anyone to go here for new work out equipment, as they have a good amount of inventory and different products to choose from. I was very happy with my experience.

I went to Flaman Fitness to look at cardio equipment. Alex was the salesperson working that day. He showed me my options and let me look around with no pressure. I ended up buying a Bowflex M6 and Alex helped me carry the equipment to my truck. Great product selection, competitive pricing and helpful staff. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Went in for the third time today. Im looking for a mat to put a stationary bike on. I have been told two to three weeks three times. I have called but you can't actually reach a person. I have emailed and they get back to you a week later. This store in dingy and gross, clearly they don't spend their time cleaning or answering the phone. Ended up ordering a mat online today and won't visit Flaman again.

Actually got a reply. Why not take a name and number and call the customer when it comes in?
And is the stores vacuum broken?

Based on a friend's recommendation I went to Flaman. Can't say enough good things about Flaman on 32nd Ave, and in particular Calvin. We got our entire home gym set up for a very reasonable price (equipment/flooring, delivery, installation). I would highly recommend to talk to Calvin if you're interested in gym equipment. He's very knowledgeable and accommodating, much more than those I spoke with at other fitness equipment stores.

Great customer service I had a great deal and was able to pre order an smith machine thanks to Calvin from the store in 32 av NE in Calgary he helped me to save the last machine available, great guy very friendly and awesome customer service!

I was unable to order weights online so I submitted an email address notification to let me know when stock arrived.the next day I received an email that they had stock in their NE location and I was able to find the dumbbells I was looking for, and picked them up the next day! Super fast response ️

Calvin was very helpful and knowledgeable when ordering my spin bike. I had to leave a voicemail when originally calling and he called back very quickly to discuss details. I did not order in that call but learned a lot and decided to purchase through him because of his help.ended up calling back and proceeding. Calvin then kept me in mind when there was a cancellation and i was able to pick up my bike faster than the original expected date. Thank you so much for your help Calvin and thank you to the staff member that was there that day to help load it into my vehicle!

Best place for quality fitness equipment at extremely competitive prices.

The sales staff are extremely knowledgeable and can recommend the best, most practical, products for your specific needs.

I was impressed with the service I received. They were very organized, responded to emails quickly, and I felt safe picking up my equipment from them during the lockdown. I was especially impressed by their organization and communication because I can imagine how busy they must have been with the spike in demand for fitness equipment.

What a disappointing experience. After emailing back and forth about an elliptical, I went into the store today with every intention of making a purchase. What a dump! Everything is covered in dust, there are empty boxes scattered around the store and it’s overall a disorganized mess. Most frustrating is that the machine I was interested in, and was told I could try out, wasn’t even on the floor.

Long before all this COVID induced panic with everyone looking to purchase home fitness equipment, I've dealt with Flaman Fitness (NE Location) for all my fitness item purchases. Alex is always awesome to deal with! He follows through on his orders and is very knowledgeable and personable. I'll definitely continue doing business there!

After several months of attempted calls and emails regarding the location of my equipment, I wrote a negative review (1 star) and was given the number of a specific person I could call to address my issues. My husband spoke with Jason, the regional manager of Flaman Fitness. Jason was able to resolve our issues and locate our equipment. We then received our equipment after approximately 3 more weeks. We are happy with the help that Jason offered, however, we are still disappointed with the overall experience. Being that it took several months of unanswered emails and phone calls, poor customer service, incorrectly delivered equipment and a negative review to receive any help, I would not recommend purchasing from Flaman's online store.

The Initial Review:
I have been waiting 3 months for equipment that was advertised as "in stock" when ordered. It is extremely frustrating to see Flaman Fitness advertising a power rack they claim will be available in time for Canada Day when I still have yet to receive my power rack. I would not remotely trust the advertisement and would steer clear if you want to receive your items in reasonable time or if you would like your emails or phone calls answered.

Called today to inquire multiple equipment, the guy on the phone seem to be in such a rush and not interested to help. He offered no alternative but basically saying “too bad” to all my inquiry.

Your company should understand, while you close the store and online purchases, we are left with no choice but call in. I think the attitude was uncalled for!

Very glad I swung by Flaman's! Not only was Alex very knowlegable when it came to exercise bands, he also didn't pressure me to buy anything and let me sample some of the products I ended up buying. He was honest with me in saying that a lot of the top brand bands (rogue) are made in the exact same factories as the cheaper bands. Basically you are just paying for the name. Such a solid dude that he even threw in one free for me. 5 stars across the board, go there for all your fitness needs as the selection is very large as well

I recently participated in the Iron Warrior competition in Petawawa, Ontario which is a gruelling 32 km run with a ruck sack, 5 km canoe portage, 8 km canoe paddle and 6 km run with a ruck sack to finish. I came home exhausted and sore but luckily for me I had a Flow Pro One handheld sports massager from Flaman Fitness Calgary NE store. It was perfect for getting knots out of my muscles and alleviating discomfort in my lower back. Totally portable, it is light weight and simple to use. The Flow Pro came with attachments to focus on trouble spots or for large muscle groups. I will incorporate this sport massager into my regular fitness routine. Service at the store was fantastic and staff was great at answering all my questions. Superb piece of kit for those inclined to suffer endurance competitions and need some help with getting those legs working again.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Showroom was clean, organized, well equipped, and equipment was operational to test drive. Pulled the trigger and bought a treadmill from knowledgeable no pressure staff.

Delivery and set up was not only on time but well organized, efficient and concise on equipment training. I will recommend to others in the market for fitness equipment and a selection of leisure products (Paddle boards, Kayaks, Bikes, etc)

I was there a couple weeks ago to buy a massage gun. Calvin was very kind and informative. Would highly recommend coming here for fitness equipment.

3 of the 4 things I came in for were out of stock. The only stocked item was quite a bit more expansive than I could order online. I really would like to support local businesses but it was a wasted trip for me.

I dealt with Calvin at the NE location to set up an entire home gym.
From the first visit until everything was completely done he was easy to communicate with, knowledgeable, quick to fix any issues and willing to compete with other local fitness equipment merchants for my business.
