I've been a customer with Foothills Cleaners for a number of years. Usually I bring them regular cleaning jobs like my husband's suits but sometimes I bring them tricky items like my lilac Coach bag.they do an incredible job each time. I was happy with my most recent visit when I brought a jacket in and needed it back sooner than their usual promise time. The lady (didn't get her name) was very helpful and was able to rush the item through. There was no extra charge. Thank you for your small town service, FC!

It's unfortunate that in this location there seems to be some very obvious racial profiling happening with the front desk lady.
I came in to get 4 items altered but was treated very coldly by the older lady at the front counter. Customer service is VERY important for small businesses and everyone who walks into an establishment should be greeted in the same manner.

I wasn't greeted yet everyone else who walked in during the time I was there was greeted. I went out of my way to be kind to the front desk clerk because why be rude? She was very short with me and I was again met with a grimace rather than a smile and "how can I help you today? "

I had 4 dresses I need altered and was made to stand awkwardly by the side of the front desk counter to get my measurements of each garment taken while the front desk lady was kind and greeted every other person who came through the door during that time. She took payments while I stood waiting to get all my dresses measured and taken in.

This was a very awkward situation for me.
When I came back today to get my clothing that totaled $137.00 for 4 dresses to be taken in at the waist by 2 inches (very high compared to tailors in Calgary) I was again, not greeted, treated as though I was an irritancy and not a customer who paid very well to get their alterations.

I was the only person of color both days I've and seeing every white person greeted so kindly and myself not be acknowledged is worrisome in 2022. It's hard not to lead me to think there is a clear racial bias at this location when I was nothing but patient, kind and paid handsomely for my alternations without any complaints about the price/service.

I was treated more like a servant than a customer who might come back rather than go to the competition which I happily will now. If your going to charge $30 to take in the waist of a dress by 2 inches on a simple line then you can give that price in customer service to all your patrons. Not pick/choose whom looks deserving of human decency.

Had 3 comforters dry cleaned. The total bill was probably 40 dollars less than I expected.
