I’ve been a customer for a few months and I love the simple no frills website design. However, I absolutely hate to see $3.19 wasted in postage to send you high gloss junk mail loaded with advertisements. They send way too many promotional /activism emails.
The customer service is really slow.we signed up the solar club and it took really long time to enroll us. At the beginning, it's EPCOR who did not flag us as micro-generator. After that, we have sent email to Foothills to notify them we are flagged. No response for 6 days. Online chatted, they finally confirmed we have been flagged. But still take another day to enroll us.

Foothills seems fine. They answer emails and calls promptly. Their costs are good and there are enough options. There is, however, a big problem with retail electricity costs in AB. My Foothill electric bill is very reasonable. My total electrical bill is 15 times the Foothill portion. Something wrong with an electrical distribution system that costs 15 times the actual cost of the electricity?
Amazing service, totally focussed on funding green projects in the local area. Pro sustainability and helping the community. Low prices for everything and not profit driven. Definitely the best provider I have ever used.

Never an issue, costs are reasonable and if I call them, I get to talk to a real live person who answers any questions immediately and efficiently. They’re so helpful with explaining their system and ensuring that you have the correct program for you. So happy to be with Foothills Energy!
