Absolutely amazing! Friendly and knowledgeable staff took in my two very large senior dogs (who are still very strong and energetic for their age) with confidence and grace. It was my boys first grooming experience (besides myself) and they handled it waaay better than expected! My boys were noticeably happy to be freshly pampered, properly de-shedded (husky) and shaved down (sheepdog). Cut their nails no problem, their paws were the cleanest I’ve ever seen. I was so incredibly impressed and nostalgically happy to see them looking younger and handsome as ever! 10/10!
Also: was the best priced compared to everywhere else I checked!

I brought my 2 shihtzu poodle mix dogs in this morning for a grooming. They did a fantastic job, this is hands down the best grooming Daisy and Monkey have ever received. I will definitely be bringing them back!

Chinook and Bodhi had a visit today for the first time and I couldn't be more happy with the way they were groomed! They both look incredible! Definitely will be coming back and thank you ladies so much!

Good quick service. And friendly. And they offer a yearly fee for nail trimming that is very affordable. I had posted a while ago that I thought it was a little pricey, but with this yearly subscription it's a great deal!

I took my 6 yr old Yorkie to For Paws last Thursday, May 25. Although they did a good grooming job on him when we came home Eddie started licking his back end. My Husband checked him out to find a large red spot and he was raw in his genital area. At 6 yrs of age my dog has been professionally groomed many many times. My dog will not walk to his water or food dishes, we bring them to him. He will go up and down stairs when needed but he mainly lays on the couch for hrs - very unlike Eddie. There was absolutely nothing wrong with Eddie prior to taking him to be groomed - had there been I would have postponed his appointment.
Owner or not who groomed my dog, she should be ashamed and not blame the owner of the dog. Obviously she trimmed him way way too close and could not have used the comb guide but just the blade itself. They treat each dog as their own? I highly doubt that! After Eddie’s groom a neighbour told me he has heard other stories like that, reason they do not take their little dog to For Paws.
Well, we will never set foot in that establishment ever again and we will spread the word of their unkind grooming techniques. They didn’t even have the decency to tell me the groomer got too close when grooming. That might have helped us somewhat but most definitely not my poor little boy who is still suffering 5 days later, we still have to carry him - he doesn’t run or play. Just lays down until we pick him up to go outside to do his business.
I am so disgusted with all of this.
Anyone who is reading this and has never been to For Paws - please, do yourself and your pet a huge favour and go to some other place.

I was in last week with my two American bullies, the kindest girl just got done on floor with me to make sure our dogs were comfortable while getting their nails done. I can’t get over the special attention to care. Im so grateful to have a place like this in Leduc to bring our dogs. Thank you, Ronin & Cali’s Mom

I am so beyond disappointed. I used to love coming here because of the job they were doing on my dog but now for some reason he always comes home looking butchered and uneven. But it is not like I can even book an appointment anyway. I’m not sure if my number is on some “don’t answer” list but calling almost everyday for two weeks and not being able to get through is slightly ridiculous. Then I took my brothers puppy there for his first cut and they did absolutely nothing. Nothing. I paid $40 for nothing. We took him to a different groomer and they did absolutely awesome with desensitizing and actually cut his hair. Now I am learning about the mistreatment of pets from some of my friends who have taken their dog here. A broken blood vessel in the eye is not something you should have to worry about, especially when the dog was only making noise and had already been cut. I highly recommend that you take your dog elsewhere, I am frustrated, disappointed, and shocked.

We get our pups nails trimmed here and they are quick, polite, and sweet to my dog. Very happy

Our dog Copper has been coming here for 9-1/2 years and always had great service and experiences with For Paws until now. I brought Copper for a haircut on this past Wednesday and Thursday evening after we got home from work we noticed that Copper was very agitated with his genital area. He was licking and whining alot. We picked him up and layed him on his back to notice that it looked like he was trimmed too short in his genital area and is now very sensitive to him. I called our veterinarian and all we can do is keep the area clean with a warm cloth, put some medicated sav on the areas and have to put a cone on him to try and keep him from licking (which irritates the areas more). We are not very impressed and highly doubt that Copper will be going back.

Dropped off both of my wheaten’s today at 7am. It was there very first time there. Told the girls what I wanted and left. They called after 9am and I came to pick up and it was exactly what we asked for and the dogs had a good time as well. We are from New Brunswick and I was worried about having to find someone that will do a good job and thank god I found our new forever groomers. Very happy.
