Forgetmenot Pond

Nice little walk along the pond. Beautiful views of the mountains, nice scenic drive through Bragg creek and Kananaskis.

Absolutely love this place. Great place for outdoor fun and activities. I have visited this place both summer and winter and never lets me down. Fire pit is another plus here. Day picnic, short hike and enough scenic beauty. Recommend for family with toddlers and babies.

Beautiful little lake that you can walk around in less than an hour, the views are stunning.

This place is so serene. We visited this place a day after the snowfall. Most of it was melted but the snow capped mountains surrounding the pond was really beautiful. My kid enjoyed throwing the stones on the pond. It’s also a good place for picnic but all of the tables were occupied even during 4pm. So try to come early to grab a table!
And this place is stroller friendly too

Small beautiful and peaceful. A lot of places to sit and have a picnic with your loved ones. The parking near the site was full so we had to wait in line for around 10 mins before they allowed us to go to the parking lot.

The pond not too huge, but the water is clean, you can bring you boat to ride.

There are 5 mins distance to reach the river, you can touch the water and see the flow

Beautiful scenery. Water was a bit cold to swim but many people were paddle boating.
The trail was mild- goes all the way around the pond. Appropriate for all ages.

Nice and clean. Bathroom is available at the parking lot/ trail head.

Was a lovely early fall day. Not as busy as in the summer, so we were able to find an available picnic table. Wasps were aggressive as they can be at this time of year. Other than 1 sting, it was a nice visit.

Popular and beautiful pond to swim little board or kayak.unfortunately it's a very popular spot now but it used to be very quiet. Lots.of picnic benches parking is limited though

Location beautiful. Amount of people? All of them. If you are going to sight see that's all you will see is to many people. Went early 9am to try and have a bit of peace. None. Even at 9am thr parking lot was full and overflowing. Would much rather spend the time driving to somewhere not in kananaskis and not have to pay to be around the same amount of people as the city.

Such a cute little area. I didn't realize you could go swimming in it and paddle boarding. Next time!

It is one of the best places to go for a picnic or get together. The pond is the centerpiece. It is very calming. You can go paddling or simply wade in its water. There are lots of picnic tables where you could have barbecue too.

Nice little place to escape the city. We used our kayak here to relax on the water. Lots of people swimming, picnicking, bbq’ing. Fun spot for families!

Great place to spend time with friends and family. It busy location so early is better to get parking near the river parking lot. Otherwise outside parking Is plenty available but you have to walk all the way to the river.
Water stays cold. Water shallow some places but deep inside.
View is beautiful. Bug spray advisable, especially when you wear YELLOW lol. They will find you doesn't matter where ever u hide also bees were there too. So avoid yellow clothing.

Only thing I was not happy washroom, so stinky and full. I wish they frequently cleaned bcz hard to breathe outside even due to bad smell. Otherwise, beautiful location.

They also have fire pits almost with each table, so that's nice.
You can bring your hammock to swing as lots of trees.

No sand just rocks so Water boots can be helpful.

Need to buy park enterance tickets.

One of my favorite places to visit with my kids and furry. But, I would definitely keep visiting this place on weekdays as it gets very crowded on weekends. We enjoy having a breakfast/picnic, a walk through the pond, and also throwing some rocks in the Elbow River
