Super family friendly, lots of kids during the holidays but even with kids around it wasn’t loud, very good ambiance. Good value especially if you get the buffet, very good food and well priced but the service was the best, Justinne was incredible, so friendly. She always checked back with us and always had a smile on her face, thank you for a very pleasant evening. Even the host or manager checked with every table, very nice staff overall.

Having visited this restaurant frequently this year, I can say with full confidence the service is nothing short of fantastic. The food also was great and offered a diverse menu for both adults and kids palettes.

We come here every year to celebrate my wife's birthday. This year was phenomenal because Jacob went out of his way to make it extra special. He is truly a gem and helped elevate the entire experience.

The food was very good and fresh. Service was good and attentive. We enjoyed one of the best meals.

A Delicious lunch!
We started with the Marinated Mozzarella with Arugula, Pear, Nduja Sausage, Balsamic Dressing and Fried Basil for $17. The pear was very tasty, adding a sweet balance to the sausage flavour.
My wife and I each had the Caesar salad with Crispy Bacon, Parmesan, Focaccia Croutons ($17) and added a 6 ounce sirloin steak (+$14). The salad was fresh and crispy with real bacon bits and the dressing was not too heavy or overpowering. The sirloin was tender and cooked as requested. I anticipated using a lot more force to cut it! Salad and steak was a very large portion that I barely finished.
We asked for a side of the homemade focaccia bread ($8) that was so tasty with a little sweetness.
$31 for a salad and steak, plus $13 or so for a shared appetizer and side, wasn’t unreasonable for a mountain resort restaurant. The food was excellent and all who served us were friendly and helpful with warm smiles. This was an excellent lunch for a mountain getaway day!

Incredible service, food, and ambiance. I highly recommend sitting outside if you’re visiting in the summer. I had the gnocchi which had a delicious tomato sauce and crunchy snap peas.

We had dinner at Forte Restaurant for my birthday. They seated us and it took 15 minutes before our drink order came. The food was over priced and mediocre. For some reason they brought a desert out for our birthday before our dinner even came. Halfway through dinner they proceed to tell us the bar is closed and never offered us a last drink while we finished our meal. Then we waited 20 minutes for the manager to figure out our bill. It was the worst birthday dinner I’ve had. The manager was rude and even proceeded to cut our entire group off from going to the pub that’s close by. He couldn’t tell us why or what we did to deserve this. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Went for lunch. Food was okay, got 6 dishes for 6 people. Half were served cold and dry, other dishes were more warm. Most of the staff were extremely kind but we were ignored by one of the servers when we asked for a menu.

Service was 10/10, I was there for a bachelorette brunch and our server Chester was so kind to offer us a small complimentary dessert. The margarita pizza was super cheesy and the kale salad was also delicious. Would definitely come here again!

A beautiful lunch on the patio of Forte yesterday after a 10km hike. We enjoyed 2 rounds of beer (the rotating IPA and the grizzly paw IPA) and a pepperoni pizza which was a perfect amount for 2 people.
They were having technical difficulties with their ordering system and apologized in advance for any delays but everything came out in a timely manner and the service team were all upbeat and helpful.
We enjoyed it so much we purchased a gift card for my in-laws so they could have a similar experience.

Much better than anticipated. Did not have high expectations for a hotel restaurant but this place is excellent. Service is great, food is delicious. Lovely view of the near by mountains. Ended up eating dinner here two nights in a row.

The food was amazing and the service was incredible. This is my first time here, and I have a great experience. The waitress, Shanna, I believe her name is, is super friendly and attentive. Overall I highly recommend this place, and definitely will come back to this restaurant.

The service was awesome. The restaurant is nice.
I ordered the game hen. It was delicious, but tiny! Its half a hen, And zucchini with cheese. For the $33 dollars. I'm not satisfied. The girlfriend got the seafood linguini. It was a tiny in portion size, and extremely bland.
Neither one of us are huge eaters. We are not big people. We are both hungry after our meals. As the portions were tiny. For a $85 dollar bill to still be hungry after is terrible!
Charging high end prices, for sub par food. Skimping on the portions with the high prices.

We were able to get a last minute reservation dinner here to celebrate our anniversary. Brad, the manager greeted us and sat us down. As a manager, you don't often get to interact with your guest, but Brad kept checking in on us and making sure everything ran smoothly. Oscar, our server did an immaculate job from the moment we sat down, to the moment we left. Not only was he great at his job, he made the experience more personal and enjoyable. He was able to make great recommendations, suggestions and was attentive throughout the night. Oscar also went above and beyond by creating a wonderful cocktail for us to enjoy, as well as writing "Happy Anniversary" on the back of the bill, to make our experience truly memorable. Credits to the kitchen team and the chef. Not only was the food phenomenon, plating was stunning and seasoning was on point. I highly recommend Forte compared to Cedar Room, as the service and food was hands down incomparable despite the Cedar Room being the higher end restaurant. Thank you Brad and Oscar, both of your charming, friendliness and kindness brought us smiles throughout the night and made it extremely unforgettable.

Forte restaurant was absolutely incredible to my family this evening. My twin boys are on a ketogenic diet to control their epilepsy, and they were more than accommodating and extremely friendly. Not only were the servers & chefs so amazingly kind, the food was soo delicious as well! Would highly recommend this place!

Don’t get the Linguini ai Gamberi, tasteless, tastes like water and noodles, the bread crumbs makes it mushy.
But our server was great

Katie was super sweet to our daughter and the breakfast was really good! Good selection of Benedicts. Pea meal bacon is pretty rare. Glad they had it!

Went here for an anniversary dinner. Service was lacking food was nothing special. The wine menu had entry-level wines at 5x the price. Food took longer than it should and the plates were scolding hot which is not a good sign for the quality of food/backhouse capabilities. Given the level of class, the rest of the property tries to present I expected more from this place.

I suggest going to the black tail bar on the same property or just take some time to head into Canmore.

This is a little slice of heaven. The staff was super friendly and you can't beat the view.

The food was amazing. The waiter was very cool at the beginning then kinda forgot about us and didn't pick up the plates when we asked about dessert.

Food came out super quick. Our server was nice. Covid measures include spaced out tables and clear screens in between.

Food was delicious. The vinaigrette from the brussel sprouts can punch you in the throat unexpectedly but it was delicious. The lamb meat just fell off the bone and the root vegetables were nice and sweet. Not too soft, but it had a good chewiness to it. The pizza was also great. Not the best I've ever had, but it was good.

My husband and I had a positive experience at Forte. We had dried Brussels sprouts, lamb shank and Quattro Carni pizza. Our server was very nice and the food was amazing with a glass of sparkling rose wine and a mountain view. We also went out for marshmallow roasting after the dinner. Excellent experience.

The food was great even that I had dinning in my room. The burger was tasty and the gf bun and meat was on point.

Had a sit down dinner with my girlfriend and ordered a few drinks, an appetizer, and two entrees. When the server brought the second round of beverages, the server accidentally spilt both drinks all over my lap as the tray slipped away from him. I understand that accidents do happen, but I don’t believe the situation was sufficiently rectified. Our meal was interrupted as I had to return to the suite to change my pants. The meal would have been delicious, but seeing that it was cold by the time I had returned, the dishes ended up being more underwhelming than they should have been. A manager didn’t even come by to offer their own personal apology. I’ve experienced better damage control at other restaurants for undercooked eggs!

Our server Francois added to the experience. He was knowledgeable and charming. Our meal was delicious and the wine was very smooth. I would come back to this restaurant even if I wasn't staying at the hotel.

Great fire cooked pizza.nice menu selection and decent beer list.relaxed fun atmosphere and a beautiful view of the mountains from the extra large patio. Great service.always enjoy our time at Forte.
