Fountain Tire

Once again fantastic service from the entire crew at this location. Very accommodating getting two cars in and went above and beyond to work around my schedule on what must be the busiest time of the year for them. Highly recommended

I am a big fan of Fountain Tire. I have left 5 star reviews for quite a few of their locations. Every other Fountain Tire I called in the Edmonton area honours the free rotation poilcy and free flat repair on tires bought at ANY Fountain Tire. One of the stores even confirmed this is company wide and corporate policy.

The counter rep told me they only honour it for tires bought from their store. When I complained about being charged $72 for the rotation, I was told it is a decision made by "Corporate. " Told her I would contact corporate, and she still held to their story. Turns out to be completely wrong, and her blaming it on Corporate was deflection at best and a straight lie at worst. It contravenes what is published on the Fountain Tire website.

After I complained to corporate, the new owner phoned me, apologised, said it is a transition issue from the previous ownership, and promised to get it straightened out. He had the fees refunded.

I get transition issues, but these are very hard on customer loyalty. Hope he gets them tuned soon. I did increase the rating from 1 to 3 stars to acknowledge him reaching out and making it right in the end.

Great experience all around! The staff were very friendly and took care of everything I needed. Early morning drop off before heading to work was easy and pick up was simple after my long day. The location is very convenient, well kept and clean.

I don’t normally leave reviews but this could have ended up hurting someone.

I really wanted to trust fountain tire but my last visit was the final straw. I’ve been bringing my car to fountain tire for years and there is usually something that goes wrong.

This time my wheel almost fell off!

I had them check a low tire for me which they fixed but scratched and scraped up my rim, okay they had some scrapes and scratches before but these were bad. That same day they lost my keys and couldn’t find them for a good half hour.

Not long after the tire repair; my car started making a noise so I took my car to another shop to have it looked at.
Anyway, turns out fountain tire didn’t tighten the lug nuts and also forgot to put a lug nut back on. The repair cost was $375.

Previously they had put new struts on my car which I had to take back for them to fix since they were clunking a day after.

When I had my winters switched over to my summers, my car started making a whirling noise. They said I needed a new tire but the whirling noise was my transmission and it needs to be replaced ASAP! (They didn’t even test drive it) The noise stopped after my tire was changed… the original tires were directional and my transmission is fine.

I am stupid for thinking it would get better.
Don’t be like me.

I purchased Goodyear Eagle F1 summer tires for my Ford Focus RS from this store. These are higher performance tires, so I appreciated the good insight on different tire options from the owner before settling on the F1's. I received what I believed was a fair price. When I brought the vehicle in for installation, it was done on time and quickly. I will return!

Stephanie was amazing in helping me out with a last moment, end of day flat tire. She was very kind and very supportive. The entire Fountain Tire team had my vehicle fixed in under an hour. Thank you so much Stephanie! Highly recommend!

Had no problems getting in to have a tire replaced. Price was exactly what was quoted over phone. Texted when job completed. Bing bang bong. Nothing to it. All went well. Friendly counter staff. Thanks

I went this morning to repair my tire; I think that after a bad experience with Luke, a mistreatment towards me, I have to thank Michael who really is a true professional and a gentleman who helped me with my flexiti card from the beginning he honestly warned me that the tire could not be repaired otherwise Buying new ones helped me with the price and after that bad experience, except for the situation, I will have to go back to fountain tire.

Make sure you get a quote.or you'll pay more. Be careful about the work done. I like the company and will stick to another location when I can. The front staff is wonderful and they will honor a quote.

Update: I'd like to thank the management team for going above and beyond to clear up my issues in a very fast manner. I will be back to this location in hopes of a better experience

I had a flat tire went to 3,4 different places different tire repair places none of them fix my car they need appointments it’s 100-% emergency we don’t know when it’s get Flat tire, But The fountain tire team they took my car right away and help to fix.thank you very much your service…it was St. Albert, edmonton location…

A fantastic experience from beginning to end to fix my flat tire. Local owners make a difference. Mike (the owner) even picked me up with shuttle service. This is now our family’s “go-to” place for our car tires.

I am so incredibly grateful to the staff at the fountaintire in St Albert! I had a bit of a mix up with tires and they somehow managed to get the ones I needed in and installed in one day! The staff are so kind, friendly, and compassionate! I cannot recommend them highly enough! They saved me today!

It was -40 out there, in a time when every service provider says "No we cant help, we are so busy" Fountain Tire was so kind and helpful to squeez me in despite being as busy. Neil is awesome will do everything to get you back on the run.

50% recommend getting your tires here. Although there was a miscommunication with someone else during my initial phone call regarding purchasing winter tires, Albert was very helpful and professional when I arrived, and assured me he would make me a happy customer. Thank you for your help, and thank your staff in the back as well for a job well done during a stressful season when everyone is out looking for winter tires.

Edit: good luck getting a flat repaired after they have your money for the tires. This is where the service ends. They quoted me three weeks for a flat repair. Slightly insane.

Would not boost a car that had died in -40 directly outside their entrance. Their direct competitor (the next stop light south) happily came, boosted the vehicle, and provided great service.

I hate leaving bad reviews but I've had absolutely terrible service here. My husband and I have been coming here for the past few years but after our last visit we've switched auto shops. I brought my car in because my key fob wasn't working and I needed my washer fluid pump replaced. They installed a pump that wasn't proper make for my car and didn't work, so I had to pay for something that didn't work and have to pay again for another place to fix it. They also told me they didn't have the part for my fob and would call to update me. Not only did they never call me back but turns out there was no part needed and it just needed to be reprogrammed which I was able to do myself. Also when all this was happening, they forgot to call me to tell me my car was ready so I had to call in to see if my car was ready which they told me it was twice and when I showed up they told me no one had started on it only to tell me a few minutes later that it would be ready in 20. Really upset as the service used to be phenomenal but I simply cannot bring my car here anymore.

BEST place to bring your vehicle! Hubby brought my old truck in and they fixed it with a smile. 3 on the tree - they know their vehicles. Most friendly family owned place around. Love you guys! ️

My daughter and I both took our vehicles here for tire changeovers this November. The staff were friendly. The service was excellent. Thank you for everything!

We have purchased several sets of tire for our vehicles of the past couple years and the service was wonderful. Fair and competitive pricing (we wait for sales or promotions) and the after service is great, too. Recently had a slow leak and Albert Lazo was quick to assist and accommodate with the (and no cost) repair. He was friendly, professional and helpful. I waited while tire was being repaired and observed the front desk staff assisting other customers with the same easily approachable attitudes and professional service. Nice to see.
