Came to fountain cause I had noticed after changing a flat that my car was suddenly wobbling & swerving the next time I drove. They test drove it & said I would need a wheel alignment. I came to pick it up afterwards, but was only then told that they couldn't do the alignment cause I supposedly had 2 grand worth of parts that needed to be replaced first. I paid them $65 for the labour & went home to consider my options. My dad's best guess was that the strut for the wheel assembly was the source of the wobble, so we ordered a new part, & fountain gave me a quote of around $230 to replace it. When I picked up my car this time, I was told it would actually be $530 for the service, which was never communicated to me until after the fact. I refused to pay a price that was more than double what I was quoted with no explanation. They chocked it up to a "miscommunication", which certainly happens, but doesn't hold water when it was the second time in only a couple of days that I was suddenly hit with very important info, *after* getting there in person to pick up.

To my great frustration, on my drive home the wobble was still not fixed after all that. Once I was parked & took a look under my car, I found that they had replaced the strut on the wrong side. So all in all I paid $280 to be right back to square one, except with a new part for something that never needed replacing in the first place.

At that point I had no reason to believe that bringing it back a third time would work out well, so I went to bumper to bumper in Nampa instead. They were able to diagnose the cause of the problem right away, & got it taken care of for me. The staff at fountain were polite and accommodating, & offered me rides each time I had to drop off my car, but nonetheless I won't be coming back due to the time and money completely wasted.

I ordered my winter tires first week of November and had an appointment for the 21st to install. I dropped my vehicle off on said date; got a call a few hours later that my tires weren’t in. I called them in the 25 & 26th to get an update on my tire order with no call back. I called and cancelled my order. Very poor service!

Heard stories of overtightening lug nuts but got them to swap wheels on anyways. Just checked the torque and they started moving around 230 lbs/ft on a car that’s supposed to be 110

Very easy to drop off my car the night before service. New winter tires were installed & they picked me up in town to get back for my car that afternoon! THAT WAS A BONUS service perk that I appreciated. I needed studds added that are a separate service & did not know they had not been, so I had to come back. It was easy to get this done. Very timely service. Thanks.
