Fountain Tire

Asked for a new valve core. Said we had to remove tire. Explained to employee I only wanted a core. Couldn’t undertsand. Canadian tire sell valve cores and tools. Be starter.

I go here to purchase my tires and get seasonal changeovers. Staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

Second time coming here and this visit was just as disappointing as the first. First time I came to get my tires switched to my winter ones, which took them almost the entire day. Second time I asked them to switch to my summer tires and for an alignment, which took them 4 hours. However, in that time, they couldn’t fit in the alignment we had asked for the week previous. Incredibly unprofessional that they cannot fit in two services in 4 hours, due to bad time management. While I understand other vehicles take longer due to unforeseen problems, I should not have to wait 4+ hours each time for just my tires to be switched over.

The guy at the front desk can't handle stress at all. He was getting upset with the Old guy in front of me because he wanted to wait for his car. Then he gave me attitude for asking if I could get one of the two cars I booked in done earlier so I could go. I won't come back again. Previously the guy gave my son attitude as well.

Great place for tires, fast friendly service with competitive pricing, you won't regret stopping there, guaranteed!

Thank you so much for helping us out when we got a chunk of metal lodged in our tire! We were in from out of town and they quickly assessed the damage, determined the tire wasn't punctured, and didn't even charge us for their time. Definitely recommend!

Ralph and his Crew, diagnosed the problem and got me back quickly.

We have a motorhome built on a 2016 Mercedes Benz Sprinter 3500. We have had a vibration in the steering wheel for at least the past three years. We have had a number of tire balances, replacement shocks, replacement front wheel, replacement front wheel flange, and a bunch of other work at various shops in an attempt to fix the vibration.

We were directed to Fountain Tire in Cochrane for another tire balance. They have a road balance machine and they know how to use it. The service and knowledge of Darren Paulgaard and his crew was unbelievable. They worked for nearly 3 hours to ensure the tires were probably balanced. The vibration is 90% eliminated. The vehicle drives better now than it has in three years. We are delighted. Darren explained that the rest of the problem is likely the tires and we intend to replace them.

I can not stress enough how good this felt to get this repaired after so much frustration for so long. Darren, who is Assistant Manager, was fully engaged himself in helping with the repairs and should be commended for taking charge and ensuring I was totally satisfied.

Got my Jeep in to fix a tire that had a nail in it. Ralph was cold, and didn’t keep conversation very well. After reading reviews I don’t think I’ll ever go back sadly. I was super happy with other staff, but Ralph gave me bad vibes.

I wouldn't waste your time going to this tire shop. 3 visits for simple tire change, 3rd time wrecked the front of my car. Ralph is a real lazy and tempered mannered manager. 101 other shop that will leave you with a better service.

The way how they deal with customers is redicilous! Ralph should learn some manners. Nothing compare to Fountain tire in Airdrie!

These guys took care of a pesky slow leak on one of my tires, and brought me back in to make it right when the first patch didn’t get it 100%. They work fast, too!

Went in for a flat tire. Fixed very quickly and at a reasonable price. Overall I was happy with the service and communication. Will definitely return. Thank you!

My husband brought our vehicle in for new tires. They had broken a wheel stud and told us that it was as a result of wear and tear. Ralph, the partial owner, said that he would not replace the stud, even though the staff there broke it. He said it would cost approximately $400.00 and offered to have it fixed at a discount price.
A couple of weeks later, we went to a different repair shop (Knibbe automotive) to have the brake pads replaced on the same vehicle. The employee at knibbe automotive advised that he noticed that the wheel stud was broken and replaced it, free of charge. I will never go back to Cochrane fountain tire due to their lack of workmanship and poor customer service.

I did not like the service at this store. I took my car in for two new tires and when I went to pick it up the driver's window had been pushed down too far and would not close. I mentioned it to the store but they said it was not their fault and they would try to fix it but would charge me to even look at it. Their attitude was "that's tough! " and I will never deal with them again!

No longer bring my cars here. Overpriced, rude, sarcastic. Visited more times than I can remember, but only one time was treated well (and it was by an employee who came to tow me). Sorry guys. You lost my business.

Staff was great. Small or large, I would highly recommend this Fountain Tire. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with things.

Awesome Service! Damian (assistant manager) went above and beyond to help find the best solution. Found some amazing tires at a very good price. Installation was fast and the price was exactly as quoted. Would definitely recommend!

Called to ask about availability for an appointment today and was told "no, nothing until about November 13th" and the gentleman promptly hung up the phone before I got even halfway through saying "alright no worries, have a good day". Not a big deal as I'm sure they're busy, just a bit rude.

Very honest and friendly staff who were helpful in ensuring I got the product I wanted even with very limited stock available around the country. Service was fast and the information I was quoted was all accurate and competitive. Happy customer.

Like a few others I was surprised that this shop is much pricier than others in Cochrane. The person working at the counter was rude before I had even said anything. I already talked to customer service who stopped responding so I'm not going to bother with Fountain Tire again.

Edit: thanks for the reply guys. As I mentioned in my review I have already spoken to customer service who were able to confirm that yes, I was overcharged by the Cochrane location, and no, they weren't going to do anything about it.

Ralph and his team offer a honest down to earth experience. We are very fortunate to have them in our town. I try to shop local and have always been very impressed with their products and services. I will continue to keep going to them for all my tire needs.

Person behind the counter should not be there as you could tell that he did not like his job. Never got a return phone call in regards to our questions.

Service and quality of the product was good. Not happy that I only received 6 air miles for a $900 purchase.
